Denny’s

Its Denny’s. Good ol fashioned American Denny’s. Not too much to say about it. My server was friendly, she was quick and brought out my order to me just the way I ordered it. I had two over-​easy eggs, two crispy pieces, delicious golden hashbrowns, and a slice of french toast. It was good, ya know, the Denny’s kind of good.

This is always what one would expect. It’s Denny’s. But service is usually really good and the food is pretty good

As a pescetarian, there are very limited options here. You can’t get a fruit plate for breakfast, and all breakfast options have eggs. I made what I knew was a poor choice and ordered the salmon. Denny’s needs to take this off of the menu due to an inability to cook it correctly. It was severely overcooked, dredged in oil, and fishy. Either remove it from the menu or teach your chefs how to cook it.

Denny’s is Denny’s no matter where you go. What makes them different are the people who work there, and how quick the service is. We had a great waiter who was extremely polite, friendly, and attentive. I believe his name was DelShaun. Props to his momma for raising him right. We are from Texas, and came to the KC area to visit family. So Denny’s is always an affordable place to get good food.

Quickly seated. Service with a smile from Delshon… and as busy as they were, breakfast prompt! Would come back to this location.

Ate breakfast yesterday with wife after medical procedure… was quite hungry. Place smelled musty when we walked in and generally looked like needing some sprucing badly. We sat and ate anyway and were mildly disappointed with the omelet we ordered because of the oregano in the dish… it overpowered the eggs. I guess if you are a big fan of oregano you would like it, we didn’t. Waitress were pretty good though.
Love Denny’s in general but this one is off our list.

It’s a great place to go if you’re hungry and it’s late, great variety, pricing, and they usually don’t have too much traffic so it’s nice and quiet and great service. Unfortunately I have never been there during the day, it’s always been past 10 at least, but the service is still phenomenal. When I’ve gone there my cup has never been empty and I’ve always been satisfied with their food. Even if you just need a quiet place to study, they have power outlets you can connect a laptop too and they keep the refills coming.
This is one of my favorite places to go with my friends late at night, I highly recommend it.

Lovely staff with that big hearted truck stop care. Skeezy food left me feeling greasy and ugh inside. Dirty restaurant.

I’ve never been here in the morning, when most people eat breakfast, so I can’t comment on that. I always end up here between midnight and 2 AM. The breakfast-​type food at that time of day is outstanding! I’ve never had to wait longer than 20 seconds to be seated and the food has consistently arrived within 5 – 7 minutes of ordering. Price is also very reasonable. I have tried a number of IHOPs around town. Compared to this Dennys, they have all been a huge disappointment.

I can just think of so many better places to spend $ 9 to $ 11 on a club sandwich or a fish and chips entrée. Food was mediocre. Décor is tired, and the service was slow. The seating is awkward, everyone seems to just sit around and look at each other, I was uncomfortable and won’t be back unless there’s a huge renovation & menu overhaul.

A coworker and I met this morning to discuss a work project. We were greeted by a young server named Juliette who seated us in her area, offered us coffee and water, and gave us ample time to order. When she came back, we decided that neither of us were in the mood for breakfast yet, so we courteously order toast and english muffins. 20 minutes later, she slammed our order on the table, splashed coffee around our cups, and stomped off… she never apologized or tried to clean up the mess.
I went to the front counter to ask her for some napkins, and as she saw me walking up to her, turned and busied herself at the back counter. A different server gave me what i needed.
I wasnt impressed with the moldy smell coming out of the bathrooms either. But the coffee that got into my cup was good

My friends and I always end up at this Denny’s location between 11 PM and 1 AM. (The middle of the night is always the best time for Denny’s or IHOP!) There’s never really anyone there when we come, so we get prompt service. The night-​shift staff is friendly. We were having so much fun playing a card game one night that the waiters asked if they could join us.
Sometimes you just need some pancakes and hashbrowns!

Well, it’s definitely not what it used to be, so I have to say with a new look and updated menu, this Denny’s is worth a visit. Stopped in for breakfast, had myself a Fit Fare Veggie Skillet, and it was cooked well. The nice mix with egg whites, spinach, and grape tomatoes, it’s a light meal with great taste.
Good stop for a early brunch or late meal.

Very nice for a Denny’s. We ate there very late at night, and the waitstaff was very pleasant, attentive and fast. I had a patty melt and it was delicious.

Denny’s is the same everywhere.

Usually order the chicken sizzlin’ skillet and double the chicken. A simple plate of chicken, potatoes, onions, and peppers– usually comes with tortillas on the side as well. There’s some cheese in their also with options to add sour cream. Simple, but really good, at least at this location. I’ve had it other spots and it falls short. The staff at this Denny’s is always friendly and the waitresses bust their ass to get you what you want. This is noticed and appreciated.

Furious. Went is for some cheap quick breakfast yesterday, we were seated & coffee promised, then sat & watched everyone else around us get served while we were ignored. No coffee was brought, no offer to take our order was ever made. We finally got up and left, and went down to First Watch where we had a lovely breakfast that was actually brought to us in a timely manner.

My friend and I walked in at 10:15 PM and the hostess greets us with «Good morning! Welcome to Denny’s.» Bonus points for enthusiasm but usually it’s the patrons at Denny’s who’ve been drinking.
My friend ordered a Lumberjack Slam. The closest she’s come to being a lumberjack is picking up pinecones «cause they’re pretty.» I ordered the Gingerbread Pancake Puppies. Service was acceptable and the food mediocre.

A good Denny’s and a favorite of my grandmothers. Yep, this is the one she always makes me bring her to. Even though I only get here once or twice a quarter, I have met the manager on a number of occasions and he is always running a good restaurant.
The kitchen is able to handle special requests without freaking out. :) A definite plus!

What’s to say about Denny’s? It just is! Standard American diner fare, served 24 hours a day. Here in suburbia it’s a resource for us night owls who stay up late and need a food fix at weird hours! And they do have grits with breakfast, not so common here in Kansas City. This location is near me, but they have places around the metro, so just check their website for the ones nearest you!
