Jimmy John’s

I admire Jimmy Johns… they have a most successful business plan… I order from them often, all over the country.
The other day… at a different store in a different city, delivery forgot one of my drinks… I bite my tongue and just didn’t say anything… tonight, this stores delivery forgot half my order…
I called the store, explained what was missing… they apologized and said they would be over quickly with the rest of my order… okay, what a shock to have a knock on my hotel door 3 – 4 minutes later… now that’s freaky fast!!!
So let it be known that they live up to their motto… freaky fast delivery.
What about the food? Excellent. Tonight I ordered the #7 Smoked Ham Club. unwich…and added oregano, sprouts… it was perfect. Also ordered a pickle, bag of jalapeño potato chips and a oatmeal cookie. Perfect.
What has been demonstrated here… good food, freaky fast delivery… but most important, integrity… they do the right thing.

The service during my dine-​in lunch visit was «freaky fast». My sandwich was ready less than one minute after I placed my order. I had trouble understanding the order taker. Otherwise, the service was just okay. The food was typical JJ’s. The dining area was clean, and new. Not bad.

New Jimmy John’s! Shocker of all shocks, it’s pretty much just like any other JJ’s. Two things stand out — one is that they have a drive thru, which is great for most people (I’m personally not a fan… if I am going to pig out on unhealthy stuff, I can at least get my fat ass out of the car to get it), and two is that they are along the trail, meaning I can pop in for lunch during a long bike ride. Perfect.
The people are friendly enough, but that’s the case with all JJ’s. It’s clean, bright, but still new, so I’d expect that. It’s a solid location!
