This was the most horrible pizza I have ever tasted. Quite possible the worst thing I have ever put in my mouth. The cheese was rubbery, and foul tasting, and the dough was soft. I stopped here because I liked the idea of getting just once slice, but you would be better off with a 99 cent grocery store pizza.

Nice cheap pizza place by JCCC. If I was a college student, I’d totally be down. As an adult, it’s okay. Decent pizza, decent toppings, friendly employees, good location…

It’s not the best pizza, but for a little drive thru pizza place, it isn’t bad. I tried a slice of the breakfast pizza and a meat lovers slice. The breakfast pizza wasn’t bad. A nice alternative to other grab and go breakfast options. It had a white sauce on it. A little spice, salt and pepper would be nice, but still good breakfast option. The meat lovers slice was sloppy. Three pieces of pepperoni were piled on each other with a forth right next to it. The sausage was all at the bottom of the pizza. It had a red sauce that was a sweet sauce. The dough is a little thicker than NY style. The slices about the size of half a paper plate. The service was exceptional. The guy working was super friendly and when he noticed the pug monster, he got him some slices of Canadian bacon. The pug thinks they deserve 5 stars for that.

I visited KC slices during lunch hours and I was pleasantly surprised! They were quick and SO friendly. The pizza had to have been fresh out of the oven because it was extremely hot and fresh. I am a fan of the New York style pizza so I was very happy with the food. Inexpensive, friendly and good! My experience was great! I’d go back, for sure.

I have been to KC Slices several times and quite enjoy it. It is a convenient place for me to grab a slice or two of pizza for a good price. The slices of pizza are very big(it fills up the paper plate on with one slice) and pretty tasty. I am not bothered by the lack of veggies and have not had the negative experiences other reviewers seem to have had. Also, of the 5’ish times I have been, I have received a free slice twice. One of the times was because I had to wait a few minutes for a fresh pizza to be made, which was not a big deal. They’re always friendly and you can’t beat the goodwill generated by throwing out a piece of pizza now and then. I would recommend KC slices and you’re in the area looking for a quick bite of pizza on the cheap.

Surprisingly good pizza from a little drive-thru joint. The slices are more or less New York style, generously sized, with a foldable crust and a lavish amount of cheese… a bit on the greasy side. The crust is chewy & delicious. Toppings were a tad skimpy on my pepperoni slices, but they were hot & fresh. Not the very best pizza in the area — I’d steer you towards Original Pizza or Rosati’s for that — but you can’t beat it for convenience.

Not a terrible choice for a quick lunch as long as you aren’t picky. Unless you’re in a rush I’d recommend going down the street a couple of miles to Original Pizza.

I just came from there grabbing it on a whim, gotta say, it was a lot better than I thought. First off, it isn’t a gourmet pizza place and with that expectation, compared to, say pizza hut, cicis and other places, this is better. We had a cheese and a pepperoni slice and a soda. The sauce was a little sweet, crust was well done, it wasn’t greasy. The pizza came out quickly and wasn’t dried out, so it seemed fresh. I’d recommend to anyone looking for a decent slice of pizza and looking for a reasonable price.

Tried it again. Same experience. Teens who don’t care and so-so pizza(at best). It looks like the only thing ownership has done is write fake reviews on Unilocal(which thankfully have been filtered).

I’m one that likes to support locally owned businesses. I believe in the value of doing that. HOWEVER… The menu is very limited. There are no vegetables available for the pizza… no onions, no bell pepper, no olives, nothing, zip, nada. Only meat or a plain cheese. Their big sign says pizza $ 1.00. That is for cheese. Okay… no problem. The other has slightly more with a piece or two of meat for prices from $ 1.75 to $ 2.75. The taste of the pizza was AWFUL, HORRIBLE. Dried up, greasy, tough as leather, and should have been put in the trash. It was served through the drive thru window on a paper plate with some aluminum foil over it. The grease soaked through the paper plate. The sauce tasted like some crap straight from the can and the pizza was hardly warm to the touch. This is the worst pizza I’ve ever had. I can hardly bring myself to even call it pizza. 2 young guys and a young girl working in there. Really? A brand new business and they have three kids running the place? The girl couldn’t even tell me what was on the«meat lovers» pizza. She had to ask somebody. There are literally a total of 10 items on the menu and she has to ask? My bill was $ 5.44 for two slices. I gave her a twenty plus forty-four cents. She tries to give me a bunch of ones and a handful of change. I said, no that isn’t right. With that she puts the ones back in the drawer and pulls out more change. Finally, I asked if my bill was $ 5.44? Yes, it is. I said, okay… the .44 I gave you covers the change and the twenty I gave you leaves you owing me $ 15.00. She looked at me like I was from Mars. She put the ones back and handed me a $ 10 and a $ 5 bill. They are open from 6am to midnight(not sure how many days per week) and located across from JCCC. Who? What? How did these folks ever open a drive-thru pizza business? I’ve seen little kids with lemonade stands on a sidewalk more knowledgeable about running a business than this operation. If this place survives more than 60 days I will be shocked!!! Don’t even think of wasting your money here… unless of course you’re into cold greasy bread as tough as leather and tastes like it was the liner for a bird cage… and disguised with being called pizza.
