The coffee? Always good. The food? Always meh. The service? Always great. This location earns some bonus points for having a drive-thru and an abundance of parking as well as outdoor seating.

For a Starbucks this gets 4 stars because it is above average for the chain but not the best coffee in the area … And also pretty overpriced for the product. The americano I get is always quick and consistent though if I want to spice it up and get something like a latte I’d rather make the extra trip down the street to filling station that doesn’t overcharge for special milk and gives you a standard 2 shots instead of uncharging for that as well.

Quick and friendly service even on Thanksgiving. I know how much it sucks to work on a holiday so we appreciated their cheerful demeanor and the fact that they were even open.

The product is the same as every other S’bux, but the drive-thru is really ridiculously fast most of the time. That makes it A-OK for a quick caffeine fix.

My husband and I come in here a lot after our workouts(right behind Starbucks is our snap fitness), and this location is generally good to us. I’m a gold card member(if you drink Starbucks a lot, you know what that means) so I have had my fair share of Starbucks experiences. A few times we had long waits, but I attributed that to either new employees(which seem to frequent the night staff as of late) or obnoxious customers.(Seriously, you have to buy 12 Starbucks mugs in boxes RIGHT now?!). Anyway, I had the same issue one night, as Karen’s review also had, and that is why they don’t get 5 stars. At 8pm I asked for a cup of decaf and get the response«we don’t have any brewed,» then they gave me the option of a pour over and I said ok. So, while the barista was doing a pour over, the(what I assume, was the night manager) asked if she could make me a decaf americano instead. Ugh, ok fine. So, that is what I had. I like americanos, so it was fine. But, I’m going to have to agree with Karen, who doesn’t have a decaf batch brewed at a coffee house(especially at night)?! And secondly, why is this common practice at this location?! Obnoxious! Hopefully next time I ask, they have it. Otherwise they will lose another star!

Drive thru is always slow. Has gotten my order wrong multiple times. Usually love Starbucks and especially drive thru but this one needs to work on their staff

The staff is friendly and quick, but while I was enjoying my drink(in a chair that could have used a good scrubbing, btw) a gentleman came in & asked for a cup of Decaf. The Barista said ‘we don’t have any brewed, but if you want to wait I could brew some for you, or make a…’ And proceeded to give him some options. I was aghast! A coffee place with no brewed Decaf?! For shame! They could have at least offered the customer a free cup of something else, but nope– he paid full price for a product he had to be convinced to order. I don’t know what’s weirder– the baristas not brewing decaf or the customer thinking that was ok.

Such a huge patio, but all non-smoking. It would be nice if there were at least a smaller patio that allowed smoking.

Don’t get discouraged if the lines are long. I went through the drive thru on a Saturday morning and the line was wrapped all the way back to FedEx, but I got through pretty quickly! The cashier didn’t seemed annoyed when I needed a moment to look over the menu and she was very nice when taking my order.

Nice place, great people, but when the line gets backed up the process slows down. This will be the third time I have waited in line for more than 10 minutes and then waited another 7 minutes for the drink to come up. They are very busy but need to find a way to speed things up. I watched 6 people walk in, wait several minutes and then walk out.

Pretty ok Starbucks. Kind of busy, nice employees. They have a nice selection coffee pots and dishes here, which is cool.

First off, I have to say that I am a Starbucks fan and I know my stuff. I appreciate the fact that they produce quality products, serve in a quick fashion, know their regulars, know their products and are open early and late. This is now the closest Starbucks to where I live and I want to drive back to my regular location 20 minutes away. I think I could get there, order and drive back in the time this location takes my order. I’ve tried to be patient with this location but they frustrate me every time. The last 10 times(yes, I waited that long to write this review) I have been inside(not the drive thru) it takes FOREVER. The cashiers are WAY to chatty, look at me funny when I ask for half the mocha in my drink, try to chat me up and others around them, and then try to sell me something I’m not asking for. This morning was no exception. I take the bus so I’m on a schedule. I went with 20 minutes to spare and made it to my stop with 3 minutes to spare. which is only 1 mile away. and there was only 1 person in front of me in line. 1! I also have a card that you can only get at the original Starbucks in Seattle. EveryTIME I pull it out to pay, I get some comment and they want to talk to me about Seattle. Just give me my COFFEE! The only reason this location is getting 2 stars instead of 1 is because it’s always clean and the baristas generally get my order correct. If you’re looking for speed, go through the drive thru.(I go inside to use my reusable cups but I may need to start using the drive thru and not saving the environment)

Starbucks all seem the same. They are cookie-cutter imitations of one another with the same selection of coffees and teas, the same furniture, and the same display of Starbucks mugs, coffees and assorted goodies. I thought that at least until I got to Kansas. I had never seen service like I did at this location. The hostess who worked at the counter in the early morning hours this Wednesday sets this Starbucks apart. She was clearly in charge of getting customers’ orders quickly, accurately and with ease. She was pleasant, yet she was fast. I did not have a chance to get her name, but she gets the credit for my five-star rating. Today I’ll return to my usual Starbucks in Philadelphia where things just don’t move at the same pace. I’ll know I am not in Kansas anymore!

Love this location. It’s the closest one to my house and after some trial and error I’ve come to figure out that drive-thru is actually *faster* than walking in. I’ve tried that stunt before and for some reason or another(probably because the visual of a stacked-up drive-thru can drive customers away) the drive-thru is faster. Yesterday I got into a line that was 8-deep and I was through in roughly 5 minutes with my java chip frapp. Have been here many times and have sat indoors and out and it’s always been clean and friendly. PS There is a lady who works on Saturday mornings who calls everyone«dear» or «darling.» She gets away with it because she’s old and sweet.

Yes, I’m reviewing a Starbucks. Housed in a completely gutted former White Castle, the Coffee House That Everybody Loves to Hate set up shop here a couple years ago. The result is one of the friendliest(seriously), most comfortable(I’m not joking), and convenient(natch) Starbucks around. And bonus points for staying open till 11pm nightly. That’s huge for this part of Johnson County, where most places seem to darken around nine. Oh, and the wifi is free. I hate to say it, but this place is lightyears ahead of locally-owned Dunn Bros. across the street in terms of service and consistency. If I’m hankering for a java fix around 90th and Metcalf, this is where I spend my money.

I downloaded the Starbucks App so that I could find late night locations in a pinch. This is one of the few that closes at 11pm on weekdays. I ran by to pick up a Chai tea latte on a particularly chilly night. They also have a drive through, which is always my first choice on a frosty night. Even at 10:45, there were all the usually coffee groupies hanging out on their laptops, looking for anyone to talk to. Whatever… mine is always«to go.» The staff seemed to know everyone in the place and they were super friendly to me. Small, but fast and friendly!

Sitting on a comfortable couch with the smell of coffee wafting about you, pretty much makes for the best sort of Saturday you can imagine. I have not one but two great experiences at this certain location of Starbucks. Let me give you list of the positives of this location, because all are not the same. 1. Their hours, they stay open as late as midnight on the weekends, and 11 on M-Thursday. 2. Their seating… they have great couches and chairs available, and outside seating galore. Their tables are all crunched in a corner, but they are big and could be pushed together for big groups. 3. Their staff… friendly and quick. They seem to enjoy each other and their job. 4. For all those that like to leisurely enjoy their time in a coffeeshop this is a great one, because their are many others that are like you.
