I’ve had a watch for 11 years and it has always cost between $ 6 – 9 total to swap out two batteries inside this watch. This location insisted on charging me twice($ 18 total) for two battery replacements inside a single watch. Given my previous history at other watch shops only charging me for a single fee to open the watch(including the cost of the batteries themselves), I was not expecting this and was unable to protest the charge once the service had been completed. The service itself was quick, but due to being deliberately overcharged I will never return. Stay away if you’d like honest service for watches requiring two batteries. There is absolutely zero reason for being charged twice when the batteries are relatively inexpensive(under $ 4). The primary fee for watch battery replacement is for the labor and tools involved, the battery itself does NOT cost $ 9/each. BEWARE.

After a couple of weeks of trying to get a simple watch battery replaced,(none of the big stores will do it – too much liability or whatever,) I finally ended up here. Three minutes, $ 7, done. The shop is odd, with some fun and funky items(I was looking at the watches and bands,) but the folks working are genuine and know what they are doing.

If there was one phrase to describe Time N’ Style, it’s your«one-stop gift shop!» It’s difficult to put this store into any category. They have a variety of accessories anything ranging from watches, to sterling silver jewelery to intricate stainless steel pendants to fancy purses and luggage. Inside you will also find that they carry watch brands such as Nixon, Ecko, Guess, and even some of the higher end stuff like Seiko and Citizen. Not to mention that they carry possibly one of the best selections of body jewelry out there. This includes body jewelery such as belly rings and gauges. They even have huge gauges that I don’t see elsewhere. Can’t find what you’re looking for? They’ll order it for you! Planning a bling party? They got chains, buckles and grillz. What I love so much about this place as I mentioned above, is the VARIETY. Time N’ Style also carries brands that have yet to gain real popularity in the Midwest but are fanatically popular elsewhere in the nation like in the West and East coast. This includes characters and brands such as Hello Kitty and Tokidoki, respectively. You will know these brands by their Asian design. The items are all reasonably priced. Not only does Time N’ Style carry a plethora of cool stuff, but they also provide a variety of services. You can get your watch repaired, get a new battery, and also get your broken jewelery repaired while you shop! They don’t just limit themselves to these items, however. I had a friend go in with an old, broken Elvis music box and they were able to replace the battery and fix it that same day. They even replaced the battery in my garage door opener as well as my remote start car key. There is just way too much stuff they have to list them all here. So if you’re ever in a position where you need gift ideas and jewelery repair services, I suggest you find your way to Time N’ Style in Oak Park Mall. They are conveniently located right outside Dillard’s Mens and across from Wet Seal on the 2nd floor.

Hah! This place is so much fun, and cheap! It was a cross between Chinatown, Claires, and a Las Vegas gift shop – really!!! Outside the store they had a clearance table, necklace and earring combo’s, for $ 7.99! Looking closer, I noticed they were Playboy bunny emblems. This intrigued me to enter. Inside, there were legit jewelry counters, filled with body piercing jewelry(a really nice collection actually), watches of all sorts, and you’re general assortment of jewelry. Around the store they had rocker belts, more clearance items, random skateboard japanese art, and lots more Playboy bunny jewelry(scattered all over). Lets just say, if it seemed cheap and edgy(except the skateboard art which just confused me) they sold it. Weird. I recommend just going in to look. They did have some nice stuff, interesting watches, and like I mentioned, it was cheap!
