Today I filled a prescription and paid $ 99.99 for a drug that cost $ 37.00 last month. On questioning I was told that the manufacturer had TRIPLED the price — a price increase that hasn’t been experienced by CVS, Wal-​Mart, or even the GoodRX site for Walgreens. A promised return call didn’t happen and when I called back was told the same manufacturer story. A requested call from the manager didn’t happen either. Someone at Walgreens made a mistake and no one will take responsibility for it.

Really great service — great management — always really friendly and helpful whenever I come. They really do have a lot of stuff that you wouldn’t expect — like memory cards and seasonal t-​shirts and my reason to occasionally stop in — King Hawaiian bread. Am addicted to this stuff.

this brand spanking new Walgreens on the southwest corner of Antioch and 95th Street is GORGEOUS. the Walgreens site has it listed as 9500 Antioch Road but the receipt has the address above i opened the category on. i watched it being built and was way happy when i heard it was open since its just round the corner and near other errand stops i have and much easier than dealing with the traffic on the north of 95th. i went in today to shop and found it well worht the wait and also the overhaul of all the businesses in that shopping plaza is more extensive than i realized and am looking forward to see what goodies the shopping plaza will have for its customers besides this new Walgreens. so those of you looking for a lovely new drugstore here is the answer!
