WACK… This has got to be the most unorganized Macy’s I have been in. Ok so we stopped thru, to this first of all non-busy mall which was already suspect because it’s a Saturday. Anyway we went to look for purse wallets and they were in array. I guess I expected them to be sorted by brand but they weren’t. It looked like an after christmas sale; it was crazy. It just did not seem organized except for the perfume and makeup section and possibly a few others. The workers were friendly though and we did end up purchasing a few products but I’m just warning you. Maybe they were just having a bad day but from looking at their other reviews they may need get it up to Macy’s standards!!!

Has anyone noticed how shoddy this store is looking? I know they’ve rearranged departments and closed off half the store upstairs and while it is a few days before Christmas the whole store looks unorganized, messy, and dirty. Carpeting is stained. Merchandise is displayed poorly. For example, boxes of slippers were crammed onto a too-small shelving unit right in front of the now half-size register counter with hardly any room for the cashier to work. I had difficulty finding the size and style of slipper I wanted in that mess and extra boxes were untidily strewn on the floor. The women’s restroom is in great need of refurbishment. Slatted doors on the stalls are broken out. There are many holes in the doors where generations of hardware have long since been removed. Carpeting, paintwork, floors, doors and baseboards are dirty from years of neglect. I have shopped here for almost 20 years, through several store name changes(Burdines, Gayfers, etc.) and it was always clean and well-appointed. Since Macy’s name went up there has been a marked decline all-around. I used to enjoy shopping here but that is no longer the case. With the obvious reduction of selection in the jewelry department and Women’s clothing I can no longer consider this a viable option. Other Macy’s stores offer a pleasant shopping experience and ever-growing Oviedo deserves such a store. We should not have to drive miles and miles to find it. I expected better from Macy’s — much better!

Showed up around 5:30 on a Saturday to get my watch resized. You would think its Saturday there would be a lot of people working right, nope wrong. Tried to return some towels when we first got there but the one lady working in the women’s department was ringing someone out with a lot of clothes and helping someone on the phone. So OK she’s busy lets get my watch resized, that I bought at Macy’s, wrong gonna take another twenty minutes cause there are two workers helping people, while one upset customer talks to the manager. So the manager«helps» the guy looking at sunglasses, talks to one of the workers and off she goes. So the one lady who ends up taking care of the sunglasses guy is the only one who can resize watches apparently they can only teach one sales person to resize watches. So another ten minutes. I have been there with more workers and they just talk to each other versus walking over to the other jewelry counter to help. It’s a quiet place to shop just need more workers who want to work there on a Saturday night.

This store is convenient to shop in. My mom enjoys shopping here. It would be good to invest in fixing up the women’s restroom. Broken fixtures, handicap remote not working. Also, would be helpful to have chairs in the fitting rooms.

I love this location because it’s quiet, organized and great selection. The juniors department always have clearance. Sometimes workers are busy chatting amongst themselves, but overall great shopping experience.

The selection was just ok, and the entire store was SOFREAKINGHOT. I don’t know why retailers don’t understand that if it’s a sauna in your store, no one will want to shop in there.
