Soggy bread and poorly created sandwich. This is the second Panera in Central Florida that does not care how they get your order to you, as long as you get it. They are trying too hard to get it done and it’s affecting quality. I loved Panera back in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Guess what? They were busy as well. But, people waited and patiently. If you can’t get it right because you have to deal with impatient soccer moms and tardy college students, I would much rather find another place of quality. I’ll make my own and with the patience that I took for granted. Do better, Panera. You shouldn’t cater to the whiners and complainers who think Panera should be fast food(it’s not!), Please get back to making QUALITY, DELICIOUS and not fast and sloppy.

Okay, I wish I could update my previous review, but, alas, what’s on the internet can’t truly be undone. The container service today was amazing. There are more smiling, helpful cashiers and managers here today than ever. It’s a Sunday, and they brought the A team. My husband is hungry and tired, and forgot to ask for his sandwich on Rye. I walked to the counter and was intercepted by a manager, who promptly remade his sandwich(and let us keep the original) at no charge, exactly as he wanted, and hand delivered it to us at the table and with a pickle, chips, and a smile. Wow. And it was NO fault of theirs that the sandwich was wrong. I wish this 5 rating would balance their rating to a 4 at least. If every day was like today, I’d have nothing but good things to say about our Oviedo Panera!

I love our little Panera, complete with drive-thru and friendly service. I was pleasantly surprised at how quick and efficient their drive-thru service is. My orders have been correct and delivered quickly, even during a lunch or dinner rush. I am also pleased with the quality of their food and the company’s commitment to healthy«fast food.» The prices have gone up quite a bit from what I remember, but it’s still a tasty option in town that beats a burger.

Nice people and good service! The food is always available, not a long wait. The only issue with the facility is that it’s too cold inside. Other than that, a nice place to get a quick meal and meet people for business.

Beautiful location… Super clean… Staff was nice… Apple pay worked great… Food was great… Unfortunately they didn’t have any cookies for the kids… They had a big beautiful picture of an M & M type sugar cookie… But no cookie. Other than that great place… If we are ever in town again we will swing in!

Panera’s are pretty consistent, and this one is no different. I lived in Oviedo from 2001 – 2010 and got really excited when the«Coming soon» sign went up in the field — about 2008. Sadly, I moved before they even broke ground. I have tons of friends here and visited last week. I went here twice: once through the drive thru and once I ate in. Both times it was consistently good. I had the turkey, cranberry flatbread(for me, one is plenty). The place is clean and wasn’t crowded at noon on a Sunday, which surprised me. My only beef is Panera’s as a rule are pricey. But I have been to Paneras in CA, TX and now FL and what you get is nutritious food that is CONSISTENT state to state. The friend who accompanied me said she’s never had an order be wrong, or had to have anything changed.

Love Panera. Not this location. Consistently wrong orders, and missing items. Today I ordered a veg. Soup(reg) for Wednesday. Told after I paid they don’t have it, but I can have chicken noodle.(Don’t eat meat) Opened the bag to check my kids meals… well one of two were there. I wish this location would step it up.

The Oviedo Panara, I gave them 3 chances and now I’m done. I am so disappointed. The last time I went, there were 5 to 6 staff members behind the counter, along with a young manager. They were All openly complaining about how they couldn’t wait to leave and go home. I ordered a soufflé and it was ice cold inside(it was 12 noon… I don’t think they were supposed to be selling them after 10:30?). I went to sit down and ALL the tables were dirty with visable spilled and sticky food. There were pieces of trash on the floor and a mop bucket with 2 sweepers just sitting on the dining room floor(it looked real trashy). I was a bit shocked that there was only one other couple eating in(on a Saturday afternoon). I sat down(after cleaning off my own table), and no staff within the 50 minutes of my stay, came to clean the dining area. It was gross. The entire time, the staff was laughing and playing loudly behind the counter. Management needs to change. You have young, disgruntled workers, who don’t understand customer service. It’s truly a shame. I was so looking forward to using this Panara in my community. :(

Went back today(b/c apparently I needed more reasons to not like this Panera) and they didn’t have soup, bananas for their smoothies or shortbread cookies… at 3 in the afternoon. You’re open until 8 or 9! So Ridiculous.

love all their food… I wish Panera would clean their tables like *KeKe* in Winter Park. with paper towels and disinfectant cleaner. NOT dirty rags and throwing crumbs on the rug!!! Let’s keep it nice and keep it CLEAN. Please!

Panera is Panera, commercial plastic food dressed up like the real deal. Be prepared to be barked at by some squeaky high school girls at the registers as soon as you step through the door. This corny corporate forced hospitality is best left unattempted. The poor things are doing their best to verbally engage customers without their smartphones in their hand, making them shout out salutations is some sort of cruel torture(so I give them three instead of two stars). The bagels are just above the junk at Starbucks, but still pretty bad: low on flavor, no yeast character, and the texture is forced to be chewy. I don’t understand why someone doesn’t take a trip away from the suburbs to see what a real bagel is supposed to be. The«cream cheese» is some sort of syntho-fake foam spread that doesn’t taste like real cream cheese and is very salty. Don’t get me started on their bread, they are NOT a real bakery and I am embarrassed to bring it to meetings or events. Basically grocery-store character that looks prettier. Again, go learn what real is, then fake that. Don’t just go by the pictures on the Travel Channel. Why, for the love of God, do all of these corporate places have medium as their small drink? Don’t they speak English? There can’t be a medium without something on either side of it: small and large. The fact your making an effort to be like McDonalds says a lot about your ambitions and respect for customers. All-in-all: an affordable, convenient way to overload on processed carbohydrates.

Great bagels and pastries, awesome sandwiches and soups, and top notch service. Also, the only Panera I’ve seen with a drive thru. A fantastic addition to the Oviedo area.

Brand spanking new Panera in Oviedo, next to the future Oviedo on the Park, and L.A. Fitness. Looks like Panera has these new store layouts which is quite unique … and this one includes a drive-through. Order on one end of the store, then pick up along the same side and seating on the other end of the order and pickup. However, the end of the line to pick up the food, is also the drink station, and could potentially be a traffic area with people leaving with their food, clashing with people re-filling their drinks. However, for the brand new location and«grand opening», Panera has their act together. The food order was inputted correctly. The order was prepared quite efficiently. And even had managers and servers walking around clearing tables. But being the first day … there were a TON of people. Managers were standing around to make sure everything ran smoothly, which honestly, it was. If this new Panera keeps the standards shown at other Paneras, then there is no doubt it will excel and be very successful, and I will be a repeat customer for the occasional lunch … or the ever so scrumptious bakeries.
