Mann pls. If you can get to this location then good for your. It’s like a maze once you get into Oviedo. So for starters chick at the window was rude as hell, like she was mad at us for telling her to get a job there. Wtf. Anyway ordered a 3 piece chicken & fries with red beans-​rice. So other than me literally having about 20 fries…, the chicken was good as expected. The tea was good too other than her seemingly putting xtra ice in, when we politely asked for light ice. That was my last trip to Popeyes in Oviedo!!! Out

I went there today with a coupon that said «Buy three piece dinner and medium drink and receive two piece dinner free». The three piece dinner was $ 6.75. My order came out to $ 10.26 with tax. So my drink was almost three dollars! The three piece was two thighs and a leg, and the two piece was a thigh and a leg. How is this a deal? Finally, my red beans and rice seemed like it had been packaged for a long time. I think I’ll go to the other chicken restaurant next time…

Love Popeyes, and I love this location. The staff are always friendly, and they accommodate every request I have. There is no better fried chicken than Popeyes. Anywhere! I visit this location several times a month and they never disappoint.

I have’t been to a Popeyes in over 15 years. I recall it being a heart attack waiting to happen and expensive. Well went here recently and it is costly, and very greasy. They have those computer menus, which means the owner only shows items he wants to sell, there appears to be hidden menu items not posted there. We ordered from the highly priced menu. Then asked about a take home order of chicken strips and a biscuit. they do indeed have a three piece chicken snack pack with biscuit for $ 3.99. It would have been nice to know before we ordered the $ 7.29 meals.
Who knows what else is on the menu they don’t show, really don’t like this place. They sell Pepsi products which is another negative to me.

This is a great location and great food. My kids love each time we go, and we frequently chat with the owner. Food is always spot on. Great staff.

Chicken is always hot and fresh any time we have ordered from there. We have never had a bad experience anytime we have ate there and its been at least 20 times.

This location is generally good as is Popeyes in general. Their spicy chicken is awesome so I usually just get spicy chicken and apple pies plus the oh so delicious biscuits.
Staff is normally friendly and I’ve only had about 2 bad experiences in my time living in this area (4 years). I don’t go very often maybe once a month or less. When asked about their allergy warnings on the food because my nephew who has a couple of allergies was visiting they were unable to give me any information. They basically said they were not sure. However, after I contacted the company online, I received all the information necessary.
I do want to say the employees here are usually extremely friendly. If I have a wait that’s a little long (say 5+ mins) because they are frying the food when you order then they always offer me a cup to get a free drink.
TL;DR?
Spicy chicken, biscuits and apple pies=good. Employee knowledge is a bit iffy but they are all very friendly. Don’t try to go near the roaming Oviedo chickens outside the place after eating here though. They can smell/​sense the fact that you have partaken in eating their crunchy sisters and brothers and will glare at you until you feel guilty.

The one thing you have to remember is that the chickens walking outside do not become the food inside the store.
First there were two, and suddenly there was a family of chickens walking around Popeyes. It really is a WTF moment the first time you see them.
Thankfully, the chicken inside is good, even though you don’t know if they caught it in some parking lot. We know that they didn’t catch the cajun rice, red beans and rice, or the fries, but they’re good also. The only trouble is, a meal here is gonna raise your cholesterol and wake up your taste buds.
I’d give 5 stars but the place isn’t always organized, quick, or looking 100% clean. They need to keep up and do the rest, no matter how good the food is. Besides that, remember those coupons because you’re gonna need ‘em.

Gotta love that finger lickin’ good olé fried chicken and biscuits. I don’t think i’ve been to a popeyes where I was not happy with their food. I must say, they know how to cook =]
