Very clean, customer friendly, and yummy food from the kitchen. Late check was offered. The staff was amazingly helpful, accommodating and knowledgeable.

This is a typical newer Hampton Inn, but gets pluses for its friendly service and vanity extras in the rooms. Really a 3.5, but rounded it up. Rooms are typical size for HI, and are in really good shape since the place is only 2 years old. It has a fridge, microwave and a flat screen tv — -although the tv is disproportionately small for the room. Also microwave has glaring green light that when you are trying to sleep is annoying, but can be solved by closing out the numbers. So why round it up to 4 stars? The service here is really good and I like the fact that I can upgrade to a faster wifi which allows me to blaze on my work VPN. Also the location is pretty good as it is close to highways, shopping centers and choices of restaurants. Lastly, it appears they took the savings from the smaller tv to adding extra vanity items like a shoe mit, vanity kit and other little extras.

«Appreciated their great Customer Service» VISITED: January 2014&DECEMBER2013 I was traveling on business for work and had to be in MD for 3 weeks in December as well as 3 weeks in January. After staying at the Hilton Garden Inn(HGI) right next door, I decided to change to this hotel right next door and was not disappointed. Prior to switching hotels, I went to this hotel to see about getting the same government rate and to lay eyes on the place. This is a newer hotel than the HGI. I really lied the king size room and appreciated that it was quiet as promised. I was kept awake by the loud AC and fridge in my room @ HGI. I was accommodate in my request to leave my luggage in their storage room until my return during my weekend trip home. Breakfast has enough selections to choose from and although not cooked to order like HGI, it was better to me. I did not use any of the amenities except the business center and found it met my needs. The staff is very helpful with suggestions for places to eat and upon my return to MD, I’ll be staying here. This Hampton Inn is less than 2 years old(according to front desk) and it looks it. Clean, new, doesn’t have that old hotel smell yet — thank god. The only thing that would make me choose to stay elsewhere — the bed in my king room was the hardest bed I’ve ever slept on in my life. It was horrible. This is not my usual experience with Hampton Inns, but after this I’d even prefer to stay at the Hilton Garden Inn next door(HGI’s generally have the worst beds of the Hilton family with those silly«adjustable» dials that don’t work).
