I had this about two weeks ago, and it was delivered through Landshark Delivery. I ordered the crab rangoon, hot and sour soup and the shrimp lo mein. The noodles(lo mein) were decent. They gave a generous portion of shrimp, the dish was seasoned well and I enjoyed it immensely. The only gripes I had with the dish were heat(it was a bit cold, but that’s to be expected with delivery sometimes) and oilyness(there was far too much oil on the noodles but it still tasted ok– just made me feel a bit ill afterwards). The crab rangoon was the best I’ve had in Oxford. If you have a craving for them, come here. Far too many places make their crab rangoon sweet with the filling, and this was a nice change of pace. It was hot, crunchy, creamy, zesty, and had the perfect amount of crab in every bite. I’ll definitely be ordering it again. The hot and sour soup was disappointing. It was oily chicken broth with some veggies and egg. It was neither hot nor sour, and I could have prepared better in my cruddy campus housing microwave with ingredients from my local gas station. I think I’ll give these guys another try at some point, especially for the crab rangoon– but PLEASE change your recipe for the hot and sour soup.

At first I was a bit apprehensive and told myself not to have high expectations, this is Mississippi after all. However, this place did not disappoint. I appreciated the free sample size appetizers and dessert. The crab cake pancake or whatever it was, was good. The dessert was a pink cake(the color of pepto bismol) that tasted like straight up sugar and frosting. Ordered: Spicy tuna roll: This was okay. This is a Chinese restaurant so I don’t know what I was doing ordering sushi. It’s filling, but not great. Drunken Noodle: This is BOMB! I love flat noodles and it’s been a struggling finding it in Jackson. This was actually spicy. I recommend this to anyone to likes spicy food and want to try a different type of noodle. Boba Milk Tea: Good stuff! The boba was overcooked so it turned out mushy. Overall: The service here is awesome!

Unilocal reviews were spot on! Flavorful dishes. Delightful service. Nothing pre-made or pre-packaged tasting. It makes me sad that I thought other Asian foods restaurants were good. This is the best food at any price. Even the rice in the sushi stands out. I just made myself hungry so I’m going back for the second day in a row that I am in town.

Service and staff was wonderful. Came in 5min before closing, not knowing the hours, and they were so happy to seat us!(Knowing how the industry works, i always hate being one of «those people» that come in right before closing and expect to be served…) Szechuan crispy beef was excellent, crispy and delicious! Service was prompt, kind, and got the hook on some free apps. Highly recommend this joint!

The best Chinese experience we’ve had in many years! The owners, husband and wife, are onsite and interacted with us, talked to my boys, and made us feel very welcome! The server and owner surprised us with free appetizers and a small little dessert to share! Tasty and a nice touch! My son and I split the Spicy Seafood Soup(big bowl) and Mongolian Beef w Fried Rice! Delicious! My wife had some spring rolls and won ton soup– traditional and delicious! The service was impeccable and although I didn’t catch our server’s name– he was a man in his late 50s, wore a tie and provided us with wonderful service, especially for a casual Asian restaurant! He took pride in serving us-almost a lost art these days! We will be back!

Food is always great. I know it might not look like it, but this is done of the best sushi you can find anywhere, not just Oxford.

Stopped by to pick up a carry out order. The girls up front were very friendly and promptly rang up my order. I sat down to wait and the manager asked if I wanted a glass of water. I declined by thanked him for the nice gesture. A few minutes later, he came out with my two orders of chicken wings and egg drop soup. The chicken was good and the egg drop soup was okay. I can’t wait to go back and try something else.

My husband and I love this place. We take friends here when we go on double dates. We have been here too many times to count. The owner is very friendly and so are the servers. I had to wait one time for my togo order(not too long) and someone brought me out some free soup while I waited. We have got free samplers of the fried beef, wontons, and even saki. Great place.

Appetizers get 5 stars, Chinese entrees get 3 or 4 stars. I’d recommend to load up on apps and skip the entrees.

The service is fantastic at Noodle Bowl, the food is consistently delicious every time, and they bring you free appetizers and sometimes saki shots! Can’t go wrong! I go here at least once a week. Love this place!

The food is really good and not expensive. The chefa are inconsistent with the way they cook certain dishes like the pad thai or drunkards noodles because they don’t always taste the same. Mostly good though. You also get plenty for your money and have left overs.

Aka The Noodle Bowl. Great Asian food restaurant! I went here for lunch a few weeks ago for a late lunch. Their menu is huge! Something for everyone I’m sure. They also have pictures of dishes on the wall if you are more of a visual person. I got the Thai basil chicken with white rice lunch which came with wonton soup. My dish was really tasty with lots of flavor. Large enough portion that I had some to take home. My husband got the tempura bento box, he said it was pretty good(sushi wasn’t super). They gave our table free fried(pork?) wontons as an appetizer and pineapple for dessert! The service was great, our waiter was super attentive. I want to go back to try more dishes. Signed up for their weekly special coupon via text.

The food was very good. But it is the wait staff that sets this restaurant apart. My wife and I had excellent service; quick and friendly. I had the Big Bowl Spicy Beef — ordered hot. It was very good but not very spicy. I will eat here again on my next trip to Oxford.

This restaurant is amazing! The food is always delicious, it’s always almost empty so the service is instant and friendly. I have been 4 or 5 times and every time they give me a free appetizer before I order(they don’t ask they just bring you something-tell them your vegetarian right when you sit down, although they will bring you another free appetizer if you tell them your veggie after you get a meat app)…the entrée’s are great, large enough and not overpriced, and I have gotten free dessert twice! Last time I went my gf and I split an entrée and they gave her a big bowl of fried rice free, too! I don’t know why all the free food but I always end up paying about $ 17 for 2, for a $ 30 meal! Highly recommended, and not just for all the free stuff, the food is GOOD!

The best place to get bubble tea(boba) in Oxford! Also the only place to get bubble tea in Oxford, as far as I know… And it’s not too shabby – a little too much ice for me, but the tapioca is perfectly cooked and most of the flavors are great. I hope they eventually stop putting in quite so much ice and add other choices like jelly instead of just tapioca. And I hope someday they have a vacuum sealer so I can shake my tea before drinking. But they at least have it, and it tastes good. :) The food is flavorful. Some of the dishes are quite spicy, but not too spicy for most people to handle, I don’t think. I like their pad thai best of any place I’ve tried in Oxford so far, but honestly it’s not anything too special. I prefer the Singapore noodles or the green curry. Service is phenomenal. All of the wait staff is incredibly friendly, and the manager will sometimes bring out a snack if it’s a busy night or you’ve been waiting a while. I guess it’s becoming a pretty popular spot – when I went tonight, I had to get my food to go because there was nowhere to sit and didn’t feel like waiting. Did I mention they have boba? I’ve missed my milk tea!
