Ok, Big Boy is Big Boy. I’m really not a fan of the place but I was craving dessert one night and there is literally nothing around me that serves dessert later at night. Big Boy it is. I didn’t get a meal so I can’t comment on that, I got the brownie sundae hot fudge thing. My review is really not about the food but about the service. Exceptional!!! My host/server/cashier was Brandon. I don’t know the right words to say about what a great job he did, and… he was in his teens. Most of you know that teenagers working at restaurants don’t really give a sh*t, they just want to talk to their friends, text, and are counting the minutes until they can go home. He explained every dessert on the menu, added extra fudge on my dessert because he liked it that way, came around many times to see how we were doing, filled up my coffee w/out me asking, and was a real nice guy. I commend him for being one of the kids that do give a sh*t while at work. Thank you!

Big Boy, the go to restaurant in O-town. Always a table, always open, always little flies around the salad bar. I haven’t been to this place in years, but I remember loving the salad bar when I was kid, until I noticed flies on everything… GROSS. The food prepared in the kitchen I doubt is any better, but it does taste good. They have a really unique sandwich called the Slim Jim(Toasted bread, ham, swiss, and relish/mayo sauce)…it’s SOGOOD. The mud pie is also to die for. Make sure you get the hot fudge. Overall, it’s cheap and convenient, but don’t expect anything more than a low-end diner experience.
