The High Point on the square is a solid place to grab a cup of joe and get some work done. You can usually find a place with a good amount of elbow room, and the people watching here(this is Oxford) is sublime. I would argue that the coffee is a bit expensive, but it’s not outrageous. Regardless, it’s quite nice when you need to take a break and get off your feet.

Basic coffee shop with some pastries and other random items. I prefer my coffee to be served in china and not a paper cup but the paper cup seems to be the only offering here. The espresso wasn’t as good as what I’m used to so that could use some work. I refuse to give Starbucks any business so they are not ever an option. The best coffee place in Oxford in my opinion is still Bottletree Bakery where they serve things in proper china and the coffee, espresso etc. seem to be of a better quality. They do offer free WiFi here but it has limited capacity.

Aside from the ample space and free wi-fi, High Point does not offer quality coffee… but that starts with the beans… and the beans start with the sourcing. All things in the city of Oxford taken into account, HPC takes hold of the hipster coffee market in town. What I mean is that there is not much of a market for manually brewed coffee. But, I do think a high-quality single-origin-focused shop would do well in a city with a growing(with individuals coming from developing cities) young population. With real estate and land development come more refined food and beverage. Heck, when the best restaurants in town are all part of the same group, you have to think about anti-monopoly! Nonetheless, I can appreciate that High Point sticks it to corporate America and offers more local digs, in proximity to the various Starbucks in town.

Friendly staff, but no internet. Seriously, a college town on a Monday afternoon and they tell me… and I quote, «there’s too many people on it right now» The headcount was eleven in the entire place. Guy and his work associates behind me heard that and made a quick exit. –Note to owner: Pony up a few extra bucks and upgrade your wifi. That’s 50% of the reason people go to coffee shops. I mean college kids trying to study were frustrated and upset. Apparently this wasn’t an isolated incident here. As bad as I hate Starbucks, I crossed town bought another latte and finished my work with no internet issues there.

This is a great place with great coffee, scones, muffins and great atmosphere. It’s just not often that I can justify 5 bucks for a large coffee. That said, I dearly LOVE the marble mocha! If you can get in, it is a great place to wait on the kids to trick or treat, and see all the kids in their Halloween costumes. Love this place, just wish it wasn’t so expensive.

Always greeted with a smile with a quick fix for my caffeine addiction! Boasting a large selection of locally roasted coffee beans, High Point has something for even the pickiest taste bud. If you are unsure about what you want to drink today, just ask your favorite barista for a recommendation… I always ask Morgan, she’s the best!

Good place to go during the semesters, because all the students go to Starbucks, Panera. During breaks, I would go to Starbucks instead of this Starbucks knockoff with no or slow internet.

Dark roast coffee is the best. Went here after the Egg Bowl near Olé Miss campus!

I’m definitely a fan. I like trying new places in new cities and this place is pretty good. The coffee was great and the barista suggested a great drink. The internet is a tad slow, but can’t complain about that.

Stopped here for coffee and WiFi before a trip. The dip was hot and rich — just what I needed. The atmosphere is nice with plenty of seating inside and out. Next time I visit Oxford I will definitely be coming back by here and order a muffin or other yummy treat!

I ordered a large coffee with milk, chocolate, and whipped cream. It was hot, sweet, and tasted good.
