The desserts and things looked good but no one said hi when I walked in or asked if I needed any help or anything. The employees were too busy talking to their friends to notice that I was looking and ready to ask questions/order. I felt ignored, which is usually opposite for a shop in the South.

I don’t know why, but I love to find a candy store while travelling. I was delighted to find Holli’s at random while looking for some dessert after dinner. Ice cream and bulk candy – choose your poison. $ 12 per pound for Jelly Bellys is high, two to three dollars higher than Chicago outlets. Unless perhaps there has been some kind of JB shortage driving up prices across the country in the last couple of months that I am not aware of? But anyway, most of the other candy is reasonably priced. They have a few categories with different price tiers, so keep your colors straight and use different bags. They also offer daily ice cream specials, such as $ 2.50 sundaes on Saturday, which is a great deal! The variety of candy at Holli’s is admirable. No mint M&Ms though(sad face). However, I saw something that I’ve never seen before – a chocolate-covered potato chip. Hmm… interesting, perhaps, but not for me. I’ll stick with mint nonpareils and chocolate-covered debris mix.

Absolutely LOVE this place! Holli’s sweet tooth is beautifully decorated and conveniently located right off the square with their own parking spots reserved for customers around the side of the building. This is my go-to place whenever I have those cravings for candies(especially the ones you remember from your childhood but can’t seem to find anywhere! COMEHERE! They have it all!), need a little goodie bag for my nieces/nephews, or sweet party favors for out-of-towners and locals alike. Bonus! Check out their FB page to find out when they have specials. I believe they have an ice cream special regularly?

Holli’s sweet tooth is the best place for a sweet treat craving. The local shop has something for everyone. Milkshakes, floats, Blue Bell ice cream, candy galore, pies, cakes, and gifts. It is very family friendly with a great kids area. My personal favorite treats are the — *Dr. Pepper floats *Mason jars gifts filled with your favorite candy *Sugaree’s chocolate meringue pie Don’t miss this great shop! The staff is very friendly and always treats everyone like family.
