Over-the-Rhine, Cincinnati, OH
One of my favorite restaurants in the area. It’s the kind of place where you’re welcome to come as you are, and everyone knows just about everyone. Some of my favorite people from town go here. I only have one complaint, and it’s that all of the guys are hot but they’re also all straight.
Oh, and the food is all good. Get a bacon cheeseburger — you won’t regret it.

Okeana, OH
Local bar/​sports bar/​restaurant. I eat here at least 2 or 3 times per month. The food is great and the portions are huge. Staff is friendly and service is prompt. Favorites are the pizza and steak hoagies. And for an appetizer, try the pickle fries. Great place to watch the game with beer food and friends.

Gross hole in the wall. Staff is unfriendly. We waited 30 minutes for a drink. Don’t go.
