A butchers shop with a small but tasty restaurant. We went to the NP on a recommendation and will definitely go back. We both had the Smash burger, the house specialty. This is a burger with layers of flavor. It was outstanding. Your meal is served on butcher paper and you grab your own soda and chips.
This is a butcher shop so a full assortment of steaks and sausage abound. This is a great place for a great experience.

The concept is there, but it doesn’t translate like it should. The staff was mostly disengaged and not knowledgeable of menu items, beer, or the food making/​service process in general. Yes you just opened, but «Smashing» a burger more than once while you’re cooking is a dead giveaway that you really aren’t pros yet. Press it once and that’s it And 70% of the a la carte burger being just ciabatta bread was a bummer for $ 10. It will probably be a hit here since the area is so far removed from examples of other true, innovative markets. It is exciting to see you’re promoting local sources for product and thank you for that.

What a tremendous addition to Oxford! The Neon Pig provides a clean, trendy and customer friendly experience.
First, let’s talk about the food. Call in an order or belly up to the counter, this place is famous for its award winning Smash Burger. Delicious. However, there are so many great items on the menu that it’s fun to order several of them and split with your wife or friends. Whatever you do, checkout the tacos.
Now let’s talk about the other goodies. The Neon Pig offers an unbelievable selection of local and regionally sourced meats. The guys in the back routinely break done whole cattle and are quick to make a recommendation perhaps something outside of the box like a TriTip. Ask Ashley for some advice on what to throw on the grill the next time you visit the store. Also, this place has a selection of other items ranging from seafood to beer to cheeses and so much more.
Take the time to checkout this place, you will not be disappointed.

Oxford, do yourself a favor and visit this place. On my first visit, I was so impressed by the management’s product knowledge, staff friendliness, and the quality of everything there. Finally Oxford has a quality butcher shop carries some of North Mississippi’s and the South’s finest family farm-​raised meats, veggies, cheeses, and beers. Unlike other local places that claim to source locally and don’t, the management at Neon Pig does, and has taken the time to establish relationships with local farmers in the region, and for that I give two thumbs up. Huge selection, tasty sandwiches, and cozy ambiance. Also, their Benton Bacon is the best bacon I have ever eaten in my life hands down.
