Dumpling up!!! I took my girlfriend here on a date a while ago and we had a great time! We got really good beers here and the food was great. I cannot remember what my main dish was but the beef on it was tender and delicious. The dumplings are killer and worth fighting people for.

I guess this is what you call Americanized Asian food with your usual choice of sesame, sweet and sour, and general tso chicken. I personally think this food is too basic and bland for my taste but they do have large portions. If you’re feeling adventurous try something on the Chinese menu, you won’t be disappointed!

This is my daughter’s favorite restaurant in Oxford. She She goes at least once a month. When I’m in town visiting, Wild Bistro is always where she wants to go! The food is delicious. The variety is great. I get something different every time and I’m never disappointed.

Great find in a college town! I was expecting mediocrity based on location and price point. What I got was the opposite. They do an amazing amount of carry-out business and their portions are huge. Started with the potstickers. They make you a big order so I asked for half fried and half steamed. I really enjoyed them and thought they were house-made but the waitress indicated otherwise. They just seemed a lot fresher than most of what you get served in non-Dim Sum restaurants. I enjoyed the slight sweetness brought to the party through the inclusion of corn but kid 1 picked it out instead. I had their general’s chicken for my entrée and a side order of fried rice for a $ 1 upcharge. The chicken was really good — a nice amount of crunchiness paired well with juicy and tender chunks of chicken. The obligatory goo was also quite good although not very spicy. That was easy enough to fix by breaking up some of the hot peppers they included in the dish. I appreciate being able to adjust the spiciness to my liking. Our server was a college kid from the east coast. It was great to hear her perspective on the whole Miami experience once her section slowed down.

It’s the best Chinese food in town, but it’s nothing special. The chicken pad thai is probably the best thing on the menu and you need to give the crab Rangoon a try. The egg rolls are good but they’re nothing special. The lunchbox specials are great deal for the amount of food that you’re given. College students at Miami do not eat at the restaurant. They will all take it to go out professors and older people eat there. This place is a staple of Oxford and will be there forever.

Good Asian food. Definitely more in line with what you would expect to find in a major city. I have had a few items and I found that their lo mein is their best item by far. The orange chicken and general tso was not spicy at all and the beef and broccoli was good not great. The spring rolls and fried rice are really good and the lunch box deal is pretty fair. The ambience is also considerably better than any other Asian restaurant in town. Service is not the best. No language issues like in some restaurants but the owner is rude to guests and only the younger workers have decent service. It takes them an average time to make the food, about 10 – 15 minutes. Prices are higher than I would pay in a bigger city for the quality but it isn’t unreasonable. The worst part is you have to order $ 15 to get it delivered. Overall probably the safest bet in Oxford and I give it a 3.5 stars rounding up to 4 because side dishes and noodles are great even if the main dishes are only average.

Wild Bistro is a nice Chinese restaurant for a small college town like Oxford, Ohio. I usually go there for lunch because that’s when you get the most bang for your buck! They have lunch box specials that come with an entrée, rice(fried, white or brown), salad & crab Rangoon OR an egg roll. It’s the perfect portion for lunch! I usually get the sweet and sour chicken or the bourbon chicken. Quick and good service and tasty food. Plus good bang for your buck. I only gave it 4 stars because their dinner prices are a bit high for what you get.

Wild MSG. I’m allergic and was assured there would be no MSG in my dish. Lo and behold, a few minutes into chewing and I have hives all over my body. Wish I could enjoy this place but the customer service is obviously abysmal.

The place was clean and good for a business level lunch. The food was okay although some of them were a little too salty. I gave it only three stars because tips of 15% were imposed on our checks. Oh well, we’d have given you more than that!

Absolutely love Wild Bistro! I think it’s the best Chinese food in Oxford. I love their Beef Chow Fun or Beef Lo Mei noodles. And they have great crab rangoons. All for a good price!

Watch your money at this place, friend’s check was $ 16, charged $ 34. That is $ 18 difference, did reimburse money, but had he not check his checking account he would have been out that money. How many other people have they done this to. Customer beware!

…microwaveable takeout trays? The peak of convenience. Unbelievable food and great service. Always on time for deliveries and consistent on menu. A little on the pricey side, but it well worth it.

I’m not sure why — maybe the chalkboard specials sign out front, maybe the word«bistro» — but I had always been under the impression this was some sort of yuppie Asian Fusion joint. Cue hockey alarm horn… WRONG! Wild Bistro is a pretty standard Chinese place with slightly-above-average food. My husband and I begrudgingly chose it after we determined that I Love Sushi is for real closed down now. Not wanting to deal with the attitude and prices over at Sushi Nara, we decided WB was good enough. I think«good enough» is a great way to describe the whole experience. Nothing terrible, nothing amazing. I ordered basil fried rice off the«secret menu» Henry mentioned. It was good. Maybe a little overpriced. My husband got chow mei fun, I think. He was bordering on hangry, so he shoveled it in, but he wasn’t blown away by the taste or anything. Our server was nice. Nothing more to say about her. If I get a craving for decent Chinese food, and I’m in the area, I’ll stop in. Otherwise, I can’t see myself making a special trip to go to Wild Bistro.

My husband and I stopped by for an early dinner after watching some kids perform some ice skating at MU. The restaurant smelled yummy the second we walked in. The booths were comfortable and the look of restaurant was welcoming and attractive. We were there at about 4pm on a Saturday, and there were a decent number of people there, so that seemed good. Our service was quick and the food tasted good. We shared a lettuce wrap first, and that was tasty, though we could have used more lettuce. They likely would have brought us more lettuce if we’d asked, but we didn’t have a chance because our entrees came so quickly. My husband had the Pad Thai which he said was good, not excellent, but fine. I had vegetable tempura. There was a nice variety of veggies, and the breading was light and tasty. The dipping sauce was a bit lacking in flavor, but it wasn’t overly salty, which I liked. Still, that delicious dipping sauce if half the reason I love tempura, so that was a little disappointing. I asked for green tea to drink, and the waitress said, «Do you mean hot tea?» I said, «Yes, hot green tea.» She brought tea, and it was hot, but it was not green tea. No biggie. We drank it and it was fine, but it wasn’t what we asked for. Well, fast forward to a few hours later… both my husband and I have had some bathroom, err, issues that were definitely related to dinner. Neither of us ever felt exactly sick, but sitting on the potty wasn’t exactly how we planned to spend the evening. For that reason, 2 stars. Without the potty issue, I’d have gone with a 3.

I have pretty high standards for Chinese food, being Chinese and all. When I moved to the area, my colleagues told me that Wild Bistro is kind of alike a go-to place for good Chinese food here. So when my colleagues and I came here to eat, we were pretty excited to see the second half of their menu which is structured like one would see in a Chinatown joint in a big city. Think of it as a secret menu of sort. Overall, the food is pretty good. It’s clear that their food is not whipped up in large batches in the kitchen. Of particular note is their fish in spicy oil. It has a good kick, but not the in-your-face kind. Instead, it gradually builds and slowly numbs your mouth. The staff there is very attentive and service is fast. When my parents came to visit during the holidays, I took them here to eat. They live in Houston and said that while the prices are much higher than the typical Chinatown restaurant, the food here is pretty comparable in quality. In a small town like Oxford, Wild Bistro is a place to get reliably good Chinese food.

The food was ok, not the worst ever, not the best. Just seemed that every dish was delivered so piping hot that you had to let it sit for five minutes to avoid being seriously burned. For a Monday night the place was busy, but didn’t have to wait for a table. Service was really attentive and friendly.
