Horrible service. Bill was incorrect. Manager said it wasn’t his fault. The tables were not even clean. I will never go back.

Started eating Pizza from Bruno’s 30 years ago. Still tastes great. They will make it just the way I ask. Extra crispy with extra cheese. Delivery has always been in the time they specified. Gets here early most of the time. I’m keen on salads and have always been impressed that theirs are fresh and crisp, I have eaten hundreds by now and never had one that was not perfect. The veggies on the pizza and salads are always fresh. I don’t drink so I can’t answer for how it tastes to drinkers. I like mine sober. Burgers are good and onion rings are quite tasty. Bruno dough tastes great to be sure. But I prefer the pizza. Try the chicken italiano, it’s great if you are trying to eat healthy. I have it once a long while.:)

I don’t get it, I love Bruno’s. No it’s not gourmet and it’s not fancy but it’s good servicable pizza. I’m not a drunk college student, I work at the hospital a block from there and I order it all the time. I’m all about the dough. It’s deep-fried and covered in garlic and parmesan. Dip it in the sauce and mmm-mmm greasy goodness! Bruno’s is my favorite of the Oxford non-chain pizzas.

I love the cheese of the pizza! Next time I will try extra cheese on the top. Very fast delivery, only took about 20 mins I guess~ I ordered it via Unilocal and everything goes well.

Not great pizza at all but it did the trick for feeding 10 hungry people after graduation. Ask for them to cook it longer!

I’m fairly certain Bruno’s is one of those places you’ll only like if you’ve: A) grown up in Oxford B) attended Miami University C) are really drunk, or D) all three. Bruno’s is notorious for having stands outside after the bars close in Oxford at 2 am. What’s better to sop up all that alcohol than a warm, cheesy slice of greasy goodness? I had Bruno’s just yesterday again(no, I was not drunk), but it was still the same as I remember. Chewy, thin crust. Cheese galore. I also tried their Bruno Bites for the first time. Eh, I’ll stick with just the pizza. I should also mention that I have never actually eaten in the restaurant itself. We’ve always picked it up or had it delivered, so I can’t judge that experience. Are there better pizza places out there? For sure. But something about Bruno’s makes me keep coming back.

I’m sure it was good 10 years ago but when I had it, it tasted like the box it came in and the staff was short, impolite and sloppy!

Small, cramped, dark dining area. Slow wait staff. No managing whatsoever. Pizza good if you like greasy and doughy. Typical college town hole-in-the-wall.

Having lived in Oxford all my life, my family chooses Bruno’s as our friday night-movie and pizza pie of choice. We all love the sauce, and each slice in heavy enough for one or two pieces to be satisfying. I love you Bruno’s! You will forever be a warm fuzzy part of my childhood.

OK, it’s been years, but I’m reliving my past through Unilocal and felt the need to chime in. I used to live off an alleyway with Bruno’s between the«thriving downtown» of Oxford and my hovel. I cannot count the number of times this place gave me some free food. Probably because it was only dwarfed by the number of times I bought a slice, or ten, on my stumble home. I think it should be said, this place is intended to be food for those starving at 2am after a night of drinking and partying. Don’t go here expecting to get something excellent. Go here for a slice that is perfect at soaking up all that alcohol in your system. Let me put it this way – it’s better than La Bamba’s.

First place we ate at in Oxford, while on a campus visit. We haven’t eaten there again. It’s always crowded, but the pizza isn’t appetizing. Its incredibly cheap by-the-slice prices keep the undergrads rolling in off High Street. Very few places to sit indoors. Friendly staff, but incredibly filthy and unwelcoming to the over-21 crowd.

I was in Oxford for a weekend conference & didn’t have the energy to go out to eat. I should have known better & asked around before ordering from this dump. My group of 8 ordered at 9pm & was told that the food would be there within 30 minutes. An hour and a half later, our food finally arrived. We soon realized that we were missing my lasanga meal — no lasanga, salad, garlic bread, or silverware. We called them back & were told it would be there in 10 minutes. Forty-five minutes later, my lasanga(no salad, garlic bread, or silverware) arrived — cold. Two stars because they didn’t charge me for the crap they delivered. Never again.

They call that pizza? It is really bad! Run, don’t walk, away from this place. You’re better off eating at any other place uptown. If it weren’t for the late night(inebriated) patrons, I doubt this place would not remain in business.

Bruno’s is not the home of happy memories. Bruno’s is the home of heartburn. It is the home of pizza topped with grease and tears. I suppose it is a destination for late-night frolickers, but only for said frolickers who have completely given up any hope of having a good night. That said, there’s always Bruno Dough, their deep fried dough nuggets, which are still terrible but also wonderful. I believe I still have one lodged in an artery.

Tasty, cheap late night pizza by the slice served up by one of the scariest townies I have ever seen. She could have her own stage in a travelling circus. For some reason my sister and her friends are afraid to eat here. Tasted good to me.

Holy mother of Bruno’s Dough! A first review. Wow, where do I start? For starter’s, Bruno’s is the home of the slice. It’s not the place you want to go to get a gourmet pie… it’s the place you want to hit at 2AM to get a slice of the tastiest greasiest pizza in town! Get to know this place as a freshmen, and it will change your college experience forever. So, go there, throw some Springsteen on the jukebox, and celebrate the tradition of Brun-doggs! But not only is Bruno’s the home of the slice, it’s the home of the dough! Bruno’s dough is incredible… homemade dough, deep fried, and covered with parmesan. As the locals say, «it’s killer!». I mean, you might think that the employee running his hand through a carburetor before forming these perfect dough balls is disgusting, but it adds to the taste. You gotta experience it for yourself! The alley location is now gone, or I would have rated Bruno’s with 25 stars! LONGLIVEBRUNO’S! ALSO… Legend has it that there is a Bruno’s documentary floating around that is the funniest thing ever! Hopefully someone will post it to youtube. Anyone seen it??? Addition: I found the documentary!
