This is my new favorite local boba place! I’m obsessed with anything matcha or green tea so I always get the green tea + milk tea over ice with boba. Also enjoy the boba because it’s not super chewy & hard, it’s super squishy & gentle on your teeth. The cashiers have always been super friendly everytime I’ve been! Huge fan

I’m updating this review because after trying Boba from other spots, I have found Bigstraw Boba is always on point with their drinks. Every time I order a boba drink, they have never been watered down or lack in flavor. My go-to drink is the blended Taro Boba(it is sooo yummy and refreshing) and my boyfriend loves the fruit blended drinks with the strawberry popping boba. I will continue to come here for my boba fix!

Pretty regular boba. The only thing going for them is the yard long option but even then it’s pretty overpriced.

This was our first time here and The attendant was nice enough to let us park our bikes inside before we ordered. She even held it open for us as we left. The amount of bobba was awesome! My fav was the vanilla bean slush I will most def be going back.

Delicious! Fresh! Great selection of flavored and options. A true gem. I’m from Los Angeles a my sister is from Fremont, so we know good boba. This passes the test!

First time trying this boba place. The girls were super friendly and quick. Reasonably priced? $ 4.25 for a small drink. I think so, specially since that’s what I pay for a Starbucks drink anyway. I ordered a Hawaiian coconut. Really refreshing coconut, tastes like Piña Colada, all I need is my pool-side chair and a good book. Haha My sons ordered Lychee and horchata. The horchata tastes just like the real Mexican horchata with a rewarding boba at the bottom. The lychee was super sweet to my liking. I can see myself returning here, especially since it’s close to my work and my favorite taqueria. It looks like you can follow them on Instagram and Facebook too. Oh, there’s a Camarillo location as well. Shopping, anyone?

Best boba in town! I’m a regular, they literally know my order.(Cookies and cream in case you were wondering) Great, friendly staff! Boba is almost always perfectly cooked. I only wish they had a loyalty program!

Five stars it is, i have always wanted to stop in so i finally made the stop, as we walked in we were serviced immediately as it took a bit longer to order on my end due to it being my first time, I went with the banana cream Bobba. i have got to say I will be back, the Bobba was quite interesting but good. i recommend you try it if you have never tried. there options as far as sizes and flavors is all what you need… I was left with nothing to complain about. the price was reasonable, I paid like 8.50 for 2 smalls.

I live on the other side of town so don’t get to visit as often as I like– but every visit is always as great as the last. The employees are pleasant enough, there’s always ample parking and the store is kept really clean and up-to-date. They use the perfect amount of ice and boba for the Thai tea– it’s always juuuuust the right amount of sweetness too.

I was pleasantly surprised to find a boba place in Oxnard. They have a lot of flavors and I like how you can request different milk and sugar options. I ordered the Thai tea blended drink and jasmine milk tea over ice with boba. My friend said the Thai tea was good– although she couldn’t tell if it was real or mixed with powder. The jasmine milk tea tasted reallyyyyy good. Just the right amount of sweet and jasmine. The boba pearls were good and stayed soft and chewy! The prices were a bit more expensive, compared to the cheap(er) boba prices back in LA and the OC. Overall, a good boba place if you’re craving and happen to be in Oxnard/Ventura.

I’m only giving this place two stars because they’re not stingy with their boba or jellies, but the workers were really rude and was not attentive at all. I was never really a fan of Big Straw Boba, but I went in yesterday because my little nephew wanted boba and this was the nearest boba place. I got the green tea lychee w/boba & my nephew got watermelon w/boba. Green tea lychee w/boba The drink was surprisingly very good, the lychee was not overpowering the green tea unlike Blossom Tea House where they drench the green tea in lychee syrup. I appreciated how Big Straw stayed true to the flavor of the green tea and only adding a hint of lychee. When I got my order I wanted to add some lychee jellies, so I waited in line again to get some. When it was my turn the girl that was helping me had such a condescending tone to her voice and it seemed like she had no interest of helping me. It just made me feel like I shouldn’t have even asked for lychee jellies. Watermelon w/boba Geez, this was so bad. My nephew did not even want to drink it. The drink did not even taste like watermelon & you can taste the grainy powder with every single sip.

I’ve gone there regularly for over a year. On some days where I would be too overworked to want to eat, I would go in for something that I knew was easy on my stomach. The shop owner is very nice. There’s a couple of employees out of the bunch who go out of thwir way and love to offer out a sample taste of recommended flavor mixes if you are uncertain about it. Coffee-avocado?! That’s gro-*sip*…I’ll take a large. I’ve rarely had a drink mixed that tasted off. Maybe 1 out of every 40+ I’ve ordered. If you speak up about it and politely say, «Hey, this is really bland.» Or «Ugh! I don’t know if it’s just me or this didn’t get mixed well!» *icky face* They will 99.99% of the time offer to redo it for you. But I can’t stress enough that they do allow you to have a little sample cup sized taste test before you order it. I try not to abuse that option since other shops have either never asked me or just don’t offer to do that. If something is off and an employee doesn’t seem helpful. I simply come back when the owner or more helpful employee is working a shift and politely inform them about whatever it is that might have urked me. They listen. Maybe because I’m polite and go there regularly. But the point is that it is worth giving this place a go. Even if boba isn’t normally your thing. You can ask for them to not add the boba. :)

50 oz of smoothie &10 oz of boba & pudding?! UHYESPLEASE! Found this place on Unilocal & just so happened to flip through the photos to find the yard of boba!!! BOBADREAMCOMETRUE! I ordered the Dulce de Leche & it was sure yummy! Not sweet enough for me to be honest, lol. The custard pudding was good! The boba was soft & chewy like how I like it. This was definitely a clever idea! Order was $ 16.40. You pay for the cup which is about $ 6.40&2 drink orders which is $ 5 each. The straw is pretty interesting. LOL! It’s huge! Save the cup & straw & refills are $ 10. Definitely recommend this place!

So their boba and milk tea was actually boba and milk tea. They’ve got that going for them. It wasn’t great, but I’m coming from a background of loving boba and militias from being in the 626 area. «MEH» is the term that comes to mind.

This place is for all the boba crackheads who just can’t get enough of these type of drinks. From Northridge to Oxnard my friends and I are not going to order a tiny weeny drink. We ordered the whole nine yard.($ 16) You get to keep the yard stick. It is pretty cool because they look like fat tuesday! If you bring back the yard stick you can refill it for $ 9.60. My friends and I have came here twice. For me I thought the slush was just like any regular blended slush. The pearls were average. But man do they have a whole lot of options for your drinks! The workers were very nice. I would come here again if I happen to be in Oxnard again.

I have to say this is the best Boba North of LA and South of San Jose haha. Yup such a big distance. I think since the Oxnard Blvd location opened, I must have bought atleast 112 milk teas from here. You can do the math and figure out how much I spent. Everyone here is very friendly and I think they can guess what I’m going to order when I walk in… Something along the lines of 3 or 4 large milk teas. In addition to the drinks, they have a wall full of notes from customers and a really nice but GIANT fish tank. You can buy a Vegas style yard cup full of milk tea. I think they have shirts and a hat for sale but I’m not sure. Overall, I walk into the place happy and walk out much happier, and that’s not because my drinks were drugged or anything… well… maybe it is… that might explain why I go back waaaaay tooo often.

This place isn’t too great. The boba is mediocre. Sort of mushy. Not plump or chewy. The Thai tea was underwhelming. Also tried the cookies and cream smoothie, not too interesting either. I appreciate their options, but it’s just not good.
