California’s Pizza & Drinks

This is my «To Go» pizza joint in Oxnard! It’s absolutely great service and amazing food! The chorizo supreme pizza is delicious!

Fantastic service and the food is out of this world! My family and I have been coming here at least once a week!

Really good pizza, it was delicious and could eat a ton more, their pizza guy got to my house pretty quick with the pizza hot and Fresh which is always good.

It’s a lazy Sunday and I’m hungry. So what do I do, check Google for places that deliver food. I want local, not chain, so Unilocal helps out.
Pizza is still king of the delivery food, which is sad because I’m not a huge fan of Pizza. I was looking through several menus and found California’s Pizza is more than just Pizza. WAHOO!
Since I’m new, I order several different things to try. I’m not just feeding me, so that helps.
1) Garlic knots — good
2) Chicken Alfredo Pasta — very good
3) Turkey and Bacon Sandwich — very good, includes some chips that are GREAT!
4) Hawaiian Personal Pizza — good
5) Meat Calzone — Perfect
I’m going to remember this place for my Sunday lazy days :) Great food and decent delivery time.

My family orders here at least a few times a month. The turkey and bacon sandwich is really tasty and their salads feed 3 adults as a side portion. You can also add chicken to their salad for around $ 1. Pizza is a great price compared to toppers. Their delivery drivers are always friendly.

This place sucks no ranch over greasy sauce taste like ketchup wings are frozen don’t know why this place has 5 stars

I order delivery at least once a month from here. The pizza never disappoints and the wings are just how I like them (spicy and with a little crunch). This place surpasses Toppers because of the wings, salad options for delivery, online ordering, and you can pay using PayPal. Doesn’t get much better than that.

I loooove this Pizza place. Best Pizza ever! The ingredients they use are so unique the Pizza sauce is amazing! People kept telling me Toppers was the best pizza in town but Toppers is so expensive and its not even that great to be honest… California’s Pizza has great prices and the owners are the nicest people you’ll ever meet! I love coming here with friends and family HIGHLY recommend this place!

I came to this pizza place based off the fast that it was so highly rated on Unilocal.It was an interesting experience. The location was pretty cute! The building is really old so it had a sign warning that it isn’t safe during earthquakes :/​I thought it would be a bummer, but then I walked inside and realized it is definitely just a take out pizza kind of place. Meh. I was hoping for a little more atmosphere. The inside was rather plain, but the back patio was more spacious and kind of cute. I wasn’t really happy with the size options either.
We ordered a pizza with pepperoni, mushroom, and Italian sausage. It was pretty good, but it seemed overly salty in my opinion. We also got garlic knots, which were seriously delicious! Overall it wasn’t the best pizza I’d ever had or close to it, but it was definitely a good option!

Im really not a big fan of pizza but I could not say no to this one. It is the best pizza in town.

This place is sooooooo good!!! Better then a lot of pizza places around oxnard :)

I was in the area and decided to use Unilocal for a pizza place. I wasn’t disappointed, the wings and pizza were both ⁵⁄₅. I

This place is great! I wanted a quick bite at walking distance from the train station, I also needed to charge my phone and vegetarian options, I didn’t want to go to Starbucks because I hate Starbucks, even though they usually have phone charging options, so I called this place beforehand to ask if they had outlets and they did! I got the veggie canzone: peppers, mushrooms, tomatoes, Spanish onions, marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese, with some extra sauce on the side. It was big and filling, the veggies were fresh and cooked just right, and the sauce was amazing; the garlicky toasted crust just made everything better. I paid and the food came very fast, within 7 minutes maybe and the music was great, while I was there, the station played Hootie and the Blowfish, (old) Madonna and Heaven by Brian Adams, among other 90s one hit wonders. I was able to charge my phone in the outlet located right behind my chair and the little joint was a better way to spend some extra time than the Amtrak Station.
Portion size: Good (just because I’ve seen bigger)
Service: Excellent
Food quality: Excellent
Price: Fair
Athmosphere: Super casual, not many people eat there, rather, they get takeout, but I like it because they leave you alone

Best Delivery Caesar Salad & Mozzarella Sticks I’ve Ever Had !! Way to go !!! Makes me wanna try their Chicken Alfredo now but I knew I wouldn’t finish it if I ordered all this but definitely going to try it out !!!

Came here on the recommendation of Unilocal,visiting from the great state of Maine. I was expecting okay food and was presently surprised. The food here is Phenomenal! Three of use came. We got a chicken Caesar salad which was one of the best! I got the garlic Knots and a medium cheese pizza (12 inches) great sauce and perfectly cooked. The garlic Knots were amazing as well. They are huge. You could make a meal out of just those and for a great price! My father got a Italian sandwich and said it was one of the best he has ever had. O HIGHLY recommend this place! Its small but the food is great!

Second time coming here. I ordered a large pizza for $ 14.99. Not too pricey. They have tables inside, out front, and out back. The quality of pizza is great. It’s very delicious. There’s English music playing inside at a good volume: not too loud, but loud enough to enjoy it. They have a 42″ or 52″ television indoors as well to keep people entertained as they wait for their food or dine in.
Its a small pizza place, but enough to host enough customers. There are 8 tables inside, with 16 chairs.
My only concern is that the restroom door wont close properly, so anyone can push it open while you’re conducting your business.

The flavor of this pizza is solid.
The pizza sauce is slightly sweet, which many pizza places can’t do well. This place dis very well with the pizza sauce.
The cheese has good flavor. Unfortunately a lot of mozzarella is bland, but this pizza had a flavorful kind. Most restaurants that give their cheese flavor do so with multiple cheeses, but I don’t think they needed multiple cheeses.
The standard crust had just the right amount of crispness on the outside, and soft and chewy on the inside. They use cornmeal on the bottom to spread the dough out and cornmeal always adds a twinge of extra good flavor, but makes eating the pizza slight bit more messy.
I had pepperoni and mushroom as toppings. I don’t find that mushroom flavor changes much from one pizza place to the next. The pepperoni, however tasted great without being too greasy. I prefer, when possible, pepperoni be slightly crispy or burnt, but most pizza places can successfully achieve that.

What I like about this place is that it’s local and they have great quality pizza. They have fresh ingredients and lower prices than the competitors. GREAT one stop pizza shop.
