Love this place! Used to go when they were located at Carriage Square too. The food is great, the prices are reasonable and the best part is that Tony and his staff are focused on providing the best customer service they can offer. When you’re there they make you feel welcome.

Food was good. Had some Sweet and Sour Shrimp with Fried Rice. Servered hot to your table, with Soup of the Day, and Fortune Cookie… $ 8.95 for lunch

The older gentleman that seated and waited on me was an absolute joy-friendly and attentive through my entire meal. He recommended me a nice beer from Taiwan that was a great accompaniment to my meal. The food was very tasty-fresh and nicely priced the lunch special was a steal at under $ 7. I ordered the pork chop suey and it was really good, full of veggies and the pork was soft and flavorful. I love that they are open on Monday, being that this is my day off I foresee that this will become a regular spot for me.

Great food. First time here. I came with a buddy of mine and we’re seated by Liliana a very nice lady. We got ready to order and she explained the menu. We got the family dinner for two 19.95 each person. From the soup to the main dish was just great. Be prepared to EAT. Lots of food here. Liliana service was great the whole time we were here. Kept the jokes coming and was quick with the refill. In the mood for Chinese give this spot a try.

Colleagues recommended I come for the«special soup,» which is called, roughly, «Cham pon» or «spicy noodle soup,» originally of Korean origin. Chock full of noodles, vegetables, shrimp, chicken and pork(which I don’t normally eat but this soup is worth it,) in an exquisite broth(I asked for less spicy because I can’t take much heat, and my nose started running in the good way), this would be perfect for chilly days and days when your immune system is feeling low. Or just days when you want an awesome lunch — the«small» bowl is large! Servers and owner/cook are also exceptionally friendly and helpful.

China Square is right next to the movie theater in downtown Oxnard, so it’s a convenient location to visit before or after catching a flick. There are lots of items on the menu, so I had a hard time making up my mind what to get. However, that’s a good thing. I finally settled on a shrimp appetizer and sweat & sour chicken for the main course. The chicken dish is very colorful and tasty, with an ample amount of sauce to top the dish. The prices are reasonable. I was there on a Friday night and there weren’t many diners there, so my meal came out quickly. Parking is across the street at the public parking lot.

Some of the best Chinese food in the area comes from this little gem. The crystal shrimp is out of this world delicious. Pot stickers were ok, the Mongolian beef was excellent and my favorite may have been the won ton soup. For a little place it has a nice quiet ambience and delicious and fresh food. I don’t think they deliver like most Chinese places around here so that is the only thing that brings a small tear to my bearded face.

I love this place. Its the best Chinese food in the area and the staff is very friendly. They always work hard to make your visit pleasant. It’s a little pricey but the food is worth it. I can’t even recommend one dish because they are all amazing.

Unfortunately I wasted $ 80 on take out! Bland taste, very little meat, they substitute without telling you… and portions are small! Very disappointed!

Service was outstanding. The owner came out, greed everyone at each table & asked if there was anything else they could do. I was very impressed with the level of service. The quantity of food for the price is a bit high though. There are several other Chinese restaurants in the area with lower prices(in some items better quality too) and more food. I do have to admit, the sweet & sour pork was hands down amazing. Not overly battered(like in several other local restaurants where you have a huge piece, but your first bite is all fried batter. No bueno!) no, here, every bite you take is full of meat. DELICIOUS! Could use more sauce, but I was impressed with the fact the pork was more pork than batter!

Came in with my supervisor and dean for lunch and was very pleased with their selection of choices and the service. Egg drop soup and Chicken and vegetables were delicious. No problems when asked for Brown rice instead of steamed or fried… it is an extra dollar, but I don’t mind. Service was prompt, waitress was kind and I thoroughly enjoyed my experience. I didn’t even know there was such a place so close to my work. I will be coming here more often.

We ordered for take out at 930, just before they closed. Sweet old man took our order, recommended some yummy dishes. My husband really wanted something healthy with spinach, and what he ordered was pretty good. Since it was the end of the night, they threw in some free soup that they weren’t going to sell. Pretty sweet. I love mom and pop places and I love service with warmth. Would go back.

We came for lunch with 3 kids(2,4,&5) and they were nice to us. The food was good and the service attentive and the price was definitely right. I had not been here since they moved. Nice location in downtown Oxnard.

Chinese food was solid. The owner seemed super enthusiastic about his path in life. Egg drop was amazing. Fried rice was good. Ask for spicy if you want it, the usual spicy fare was muted a bit. Not sure if that’s because we had kids at the table? Provably. Clean joint. Off street parking can be a pain.

This place is highly overrated. I lived in Orange County and LA where you have access to real Chinese food. This place is average greasy Chinese spoon. It does not deserve the stars that it has. I think as a whole culinary taste are minimal this region and there’s not much access to good food in the area. We ordered crispy duck which came out cold and soggy. This was already a bad start to the meal. The rest of the dishes or of average quality and included orange chicken, Kung Pao shrimp, shrimp fried rice and beef with scallops. The owner came by and asked us how the meal was. I told him that I was dissatisfied with the crispy chicken and that it was cold and soggy. He offered to put it in the microwave has a solution. I am very disappointed with this restaurant and would definitely not come back. Bottom line: pass on this restaurant if you see it. Drive a little bit further into Ventura or south at Camarillo and avoid this place
