El Burrito Loco

Have tried the menudo. caldo de res and the nachos. Each was a hit. Best little spot in town.

Good food. not just one thing but everything i’ve ordered. best nachos too packed with meat. another thing is they got pozole and menudo everyday! Good prices too. clean

My husband and I found this place out of pure coincidence. We are so glad we did. When we walked in the first thing I noticed is how clean the establishment was. I am very picky of where I eat. If it looks dirty I walk away. The gentleman that took our order was very nice and professional. Great customer service. The food was outstanding. We have been there a couple of times and every single time our food was delicious. The food taste authentic. The prices are reasonable. This place is one of the best little secrets of Oxnard. Can’t wait to go back :)

I highly recommend it. I’ve been going here since 1995 and I believe the same family has owned it since. I grew up playing baseball with a kid we called Burrito who’s family owns the joint. good kid, good family.
BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY! The food is astounding. It has never declined in flavor or quality since the mid 90’s and although in recent years they’ve gone through somewhat of a cosmetic make over that I think looks tacky and takes away from the authentic feel of the place. It is still at it’s heart a real authentic mexican restaurant that has been serving me up burritos for 20 years, and I’m grateful.
The horchata is good too!

I have worked in Oxnard for 5 years and have gone to every single place in town on the hunt for the best burrito. Taco de Mexico, sabor, burrito express, etc etc etc. This is it. Carne asada burrito /​tacos are my favorite. My coworker orders from here every single day.

This place has awesome food Portions are HUGGGEEE… if u go there bring your appetite! But what I find the best is the friendliness of the people who run the place… Always courteous and willing to get your food exactly how you want it… I truly recommend this place to anyone who loves Mexican food and great service

Nice people with really good food. The carne asada chimichanga is gigantic and delicious. The nachos are scary big & also delicious. Prices are decent for what you get and the food is fresh. Stop by and try lunch for under $ 10.

Small place, weird location but their food is amazing. Despite the looks Ive never had a complaint at all. The taste is good and the looks of their plates are ok but as long as their food is good that’s all i care about. Rice and beans taste home made and their enchiladas are my favorite

El Burrito Loco is a nice compromise between a clean, corporate chain restaurant and an authentic hole-​in-​the-​wall. From outside, the stickers declaring the menu items and the iron barred screen door and the corny name lead you to believe it’s a one-​of-​a-​kind, but upon entering, I noticed that each table has a cactus painted on it and each cactus is of uniform size. The interior is painted with rich, complementary colors. The menu is up high on the wall and printed in full-​color with photos (not taken on plates on the floor) on glossy film. The prices are a little higher than the $ 3-​$ 4 places I’ve been visiting lately so I ordered a El Loco Burrito with barbacoa in Chico size instead of Grande for $ 4.29 instead of $ 5.29. I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived with chips and two bottles of salsa because it was the same size as a regular burrito at TDM et al. There was lettuce, sour cream, rice, beans, cheese and tomatoes in the burrito along with flavorful barbacoa. Three stars up.
