Worse service ever!!! The cashiers are always rude! I had to give atleast one star but it deserves no stars. The people are slow as at cashiers the parking is horrible everything is bad about this store u get something because is on sale and u go up to buy it and they always bullshit u «oh u need a coupon» «oh it wrong» all bullshit! I hate going to this store. I’m still gonna call the manager and have a talk with him!

I use to love this place! I probably go once a week. I take the drive from Camarillo as the prices can’t be beat! Today, I got in line to pay. The young girl ringing me up said, «I need your ID for the beer.» To which I responded, «no problem,» pulled my ID out and handed it to the cashier. She said, «no, not yet. When I scan it the register will ask for your ID.» I pulled my hand back and waited. She scanned the beer and I handed her my ID. She laughed and said, «this isn’t you. » I was absolutely shocked. I said that I had never had anyone question me and proceeded to pull out other cards with my name on them. She smiled and said, «well, you look different. This isn’t you.» I said, «fine forget it then I’ll go somewhere else for beer.» She typed in my birthday and said, «no its okay.» I was very confused. If the woman in the ID wasn’t me,(according to the cashier,) why did she still sell me beer? I asked to speak to a manager and bagged my groceries. I went to the car and put away my groceries and returned inside. I asked again for a manager and she called. I saw a woman walk by and asked her for a manager and explained I had been waiting 15 minutes she apologized and said hold on. She walked away and 3 minutes later walked right past me until the girl at the register saw me and told the woman I was waiting to speak to someone. The woman didn’t even tell me she was a manager when I told her I was waiting 15 minutes and then walked right past me and didn’t even acknowledge me! I told her my concern and told her the woman was holding up the line and accused me of falsifying my identity! The woman asked if she could see my ID and I showed it to her. The only difference is that now I have blonde hair and in the picture I have black. I was accused and made to look like a criminal and prove myself in front of a line of over 10 people. I won’t be giving this place my business anymore. I’d rather go to Walmart than to be laughed at and accused of lying

I stopped in here the other day when I had some extra time and browsed around. Produce section is typical for a Mexican Supermarket — good variety and low prices on ripe fruits and veggies. Many of the other isles look like a bulk-goods type store, with large packages and cheap prices. This is a good store to stock up at. Fresh meat section, Mexican bakery/pastries. Isles were a little untidy but the floors were clean and the staff I encountered were friendly and polite. Worth a stop if you’re looking for good deals.

It’s a good and cheap store. If the produce wasn’t worth it I wouldn’t wait in line for 40 minutes just to pay. If you’re inpatient this will be your worst experience. Haha this is a great store.

So this store is always crazy busy but the produce here is worth-it-cheap and the marinated chicken legs are awesome and usually on sale. The cashiers are typically bilingual but I’ve had a few issues communicating with the floor staff(not really a big issue though.) In contrast to the produce, other items like cereal and packaged snacks are usually more expensive than your home store. Still, I make a special trip to el super at least once every couple of weeks for apples, kale, etc. Worst part is the parking lot. It’s hard to explain, and you’ll probably pick a bad spot the first time around, but eventually you’ll figure out the best spots with the quickest exits. For produce… definitely try this place.

Good place to get your groceries. Cashiers are friendly, they even helped me with some coupons so I got to save some cash! A young guy from the Produce department personnel was very helpful by assisting me get the perfect avocados, I believe his name was Martin. It does get packed during the day so the best time to get your groceries is during 9am and around 8pm!

This is the place to go for produce. Great prices, quality and selection. Canned goods can be hit or miss. They do have some refried beans that I just can’t find anywhere else. Nice meat section. Lots of different options. Can be a wait. But can’t be mad because they are crowded. They do have a lot of workers behind the counter. The fresh baked breads are great. Both standard and sweet. Big selection and always fresh.

Since Valu Plus changed to El Super a few months ago, the changes to the interior of the store and the quality of the product has increased substantially. Very clean, bright, quick service and fast lines and I would highly recommend this supermarket.

Its not that good but it is cheap. Canned goods and produce are the best here. Go in the morning to avoid busy times.

Probably not the most attractive super market in the world, the location is horrible, it’s always super packed and it takes ages to find a parking spot. It has numerous loitters outside which makes it unpleasant to go to. The market is dirty and I would think twice about buying milk in there; however I go shopping there once a week becuase they have cheap and good produce. That is perhaps the ONLY thing I buy from there. They always have a good selection of apples at a very cheap price and great condition, not rotten or anything like that. Every sunday night I walk out with a basket full of fruit and veggies for the week and spend a little under $ 10! So I regardless of how dirty and unpleasant this market might be I still continue to shop there. Word of advice, before buying anything else such as milk or eggs I would check the expiration date very closely, in fact do that for every product you see in that store. Also, unless you do not mind getting a headache or waiting in line for HOURS, do not go during the day or anytime before 9p.m.

They have rotten meat and I saw a dead roach in their cereal aisle.
