Jersey Mike’s Subs

I always love coming to this location because the people here are very nice and enjoy talking to customers. It makes it easier to tip them when they prepare your food to your liking. Another plus is that blenders is next door.

This is my favorite Jersey Mike’s location. The sandwiches always taste so much better at this one. I usually get a giant number 5, Mike’s way. Sometimes I get the chicken philly, mike’s way with no lettuce, when I want a hot sub. Make sure you get their rewards card, after so many sandwiches you get a free one.

A lot of mixed reviews for this location. i been going in for the last year. and every time i been there i’ve had very good service. This is a good, Get it and Go!

I’ve since started working very close by so I gave this jersey mikes another chance and I am happy with this place. The previous bad review must have been a one off experience. The food is good and the staff has been very friendly and efficient. Owner is in the restaurant often.

Jersey Mike’s now offer Gluten free, its says it on a sign posted on the window. I went in after standing in line for 15min, (no kidding) almost walked out. I ordered a Tuna Sub on Gluten Free bread, well the girl who took my ordered ask me personal questions if I had Celiac disorder I didn’t know what to say as she took me by surprise, maybe she never heard of HIPPA I told her I prefer it on that bread since you are advertising, she gave me the most disgusted look like she had to take it from her personal stash! These people are like robots in there I understand they have to focus when on the slicer machine, but when I say no tomatoes I mean it! she finely heard me after i bellowed it out. I was going to leave but had a friend with me and didn’t want to embarrass her by leaving, but she also noticed the server asking me why I needed Gluten Free bread, am thinking its expensive to make and they only give it to people who bring their Medical Reports, or maybe I should hand them my insurance card and maybe they take PPO insurance!!! The girl was rude, no smile, not thank you, no nothing! with the owner standing right there!!!
The sandwich was great and my tummy liked it, however will be going to another location in Ventura very nice, no questions you want it, you got it!

I ordered the Italian sub, Mike’s Way except I did Not want salt & pepper. I didn’t like the way the girl making my sandwich ignoring me. I Saw her add the salt & pepper to my sandwich. She acted like a robot not caring enough to make sure my sandwich was made right. She said she didn’t add the salt & pepper after I saw with my own 2 eyes that she did!
It wasn’t even busy! I don’t know what’s her excuse. She had black hair and is about 5’5″-5’6″ tall.
Before I left I confirmed with another employee if the salt & pepper was in that shaker I saw the other employee using. She said Yes!
So, if you have a special request to leave out certain ingredients, watch out! I hope you won’t get ignored.
I won’t be coming back here. Don’t like being ignored & lied to my face.
The Jersey Mike’s in Camarillo is much better. They are more attentive & caring.

I am on my lunch break and wanted something quick. First of all I asked for a grilled veggie as a «sub» and I proceed to check out and they made it a «tub.» A couple of the girls working were super sweet, however, the one at the register didn’t ask if I wanted a drink, if I wanted to add chips, nothing. Total horrible service on her part! Not even worth the trouble to get the correct order I wanted. My «tub» is going straight into the trash. Not coming back!

Because of «new ownership» they allege they can’t make simple substitutions anymore (like all roast beef on the #9). Ridiculous. Every other Jersey Mikes will happily make the substitution. I suggest you head over to any other Jersey Mikes in the area who are customer service oriented. I won’t be back to this Jersey Mikes.

Great food! But some of the employees were rude. I don’t want to feel uncomfortable while eating my food I paid for.

I normally jump on Unilocal ecstatic to leave a review for a business, but this is not the case.
I’m a HUGE fan of Jersey Mikes but this location has definitely dropped ball.
Ordered my food through the app on the my phone. (Never had any issues before.) Today was a different story. I go pick up my phone to see a line of 4 people, I stand in line, when its my turn to Order. Informed that I had ordered online. I jump to front of the line to pay. I payed, got my chips & drink and left.
Once I got back to my backroom at work, I opened up my sub to see that it was completely wrong. No Pepper Relish, «Juice», and Bacon (Charged me extra). They had put together a #13 off the Menu. Not my regular custom #13 I Always get. They took something that was made very clear online of what I wanted and what I didn’t want on sandwich and just threw in the garbage.
I didn’t even eat my sub because it was so disappointing. A complete waste of $ 16.
The last thing I have to say about this location, is not a pleasant one either. There was a total of 4 workers. 2 off them in back, making bread from what I could see. The 2 others, were up front, 1 gentlemen who was busy attending everyone making subs and 1 young teenage girl too busy on her phone. The young man had to ask her if she would mind ringing me up. She look at him and shrugged, like she was being force to do something that would pry her away from texting or whatever she might have been doing on her phone. I was totally shocked that, she responded like that. Not a very customer friendly gesture.
Will not be returning to this location & I suggest you stay away as well.

Great service. I ordered the Chipotle steak sandwich. Good but not great. Will definitely order something different next time

This was my first visit to a Jersey Mikes. My wife likes the one in Santa Clarita so we tried this shop.
I thought the line was long when we got in it, but after a few minutes waiting to order, that line was out the door… wow, SLOW service. The order took close to 15 minutes to build one large sandwich which we shared. There is a major bottleneck in how they build sandwiches. There was ample help behind the counter and all were busy, but its just so inefficient.
As for quality, its on par with Subway… no better nor worse and I like Subway. But Jersey Mike is definitely overpriced — largely due to the inefficiency of the operation and not ‘better quality’ ingredients… this is no NY Deli with top notch meat cuts. Good, but not exceptional for the high price.

I normally always eat Subway, but ever since I had Jersey Mikes I would eat their sandwiches over Subway any day. This store in particular makes the experience of buying a sandwich even better. Their customer serice is phenominal every time I go in and it makes me drive the extra couple of miles just to get a sub from them! I would recommend Jersey Mikes and this store in particular to anyone looking for a good sub!

I went into Jersey Mike’s today. I was really looking forward to getting a sandwich because I hadn’t been there in a long time and I usually love the macaroni salad however today when I went in there it was my first time at this Oxnard location and I was promptly asked what kind of sandwich I wanted, followed by a five-​minute silence between me and my sandwich maker. I was so confused about the situation. When I verbally expressed my confusion I was ignored. The owner came over and asked the person behind me what kind of sandwich they would like and that’s when I had to walk out. I wish the service would have been on par with the product. Very disappointed.

They raised the prices to $ 6.50 for a mini
$ 8.50 for reg and 13.50 for the huge one. And then they made them all smaller???
And then they want you to tip them at the register! F*ck them!

Love coming here, everyone is really friendly and makes sure you get what you ask for. Good service and fast! Sometimes I feel they go too fast and you don’t have time to think it all the way through so you feel pressured so try not to stand in line until you fully decided. Everything I’ve tried has been good, Tuna is good but a little too fishy (like fish sauce), Chicken Philly is good too. It’s all made fresh in front of you, they always put huge amounts lettuce, more then I want. Compared to subway its a little more pricey but it’s better quality.
Get it Mike’s Way!

This is the best Jersey Mike’s location I’ve been to. I don’t know what they do, but the sandwiches here are always way better tasting than any other location. The only sandwich I get and I dream of is, the Mike’s Chicken Philly. The secret is to get it Mike’s Way, without lettuce and to add pickles and mustard. So after it’s grilled, it’s this wonderful hot sandwich with chicken, melted cheese, tomatoes, onions, pepperoncinis, vinegar, and mustard. OMG I want one now!

After finding pieces of hair inside my sandwich, I’m never coming back to this location again. Most of the girls who work there are unwelcoming and only pick who they want to be nice to.

This jersey mikes location is pretty amazing! The quality is great, the place is always pretty clean and a few of the girls are super friendly and accommodating.
The reason Im giving JM only 3 stars is their price and their inconsistent customer service. The price of their subs are pretty expensive, especially if you are feeding more than one person. After drinks, and a bag of chips a regular sized sandwich is $ 12-​$ 16 bucks! Just a little overpriced in my book. And unfortunately they do not have a discount for bigger orders or regulars.
And now for the customer service… Where do I even start. More so than not, I have a great experience with the girls. A few of them remember your order, are friendly and talkative and will even suggest their favorite sandwiches. However, more recently I’ve had bad experiences with the girls which is why I’m leaving this review. The majority of the girls there now are cold, unwelcoming, snooty, rude and act like they are going in for a root canal, when in actuality they’re only going to a 4 hour shift at a sandwich shop.
I’m sorry but if I’m paying $ 14 for a sandwich, I would appreciate a friendly experience.

I even tried getting it with mustard, pickles, and Mike’s way and to me it’s a little too bland compared to Subway when I can get spicy brown mustard, olives, green peppers, etc… Mike’s is fresh and good, just not as robust in flavor, no punch.
