Three words… 1. Cans 2. Cans 3. Cans. Little Tony’s has gone way downhill. I used to enjoy the food there. Lately, the food has been extremely bland and nothing to brag about. Nothing fresh and everything seems to come from a cheap tin-can. Service was not up to par. Asked for olive oil and vinaigrette. The waitress came with less than 1Tbs of olive oil in the container. When asked for more, we were served some mystery vegetable oil in a creamer container. They need to return to, «quality, not quantity.» We won’t return.

Me and my girlfriend visited this restaurant on one of her co workers suggestions. It was AMAZING! Everything was good, the décor is outdated but I was not disappointed. I’ve been here twice and never disappointed. Try it out! It’s a nice hidden gem.

I have been in Oxnard for 19 years and this was the first time coming here. Very glad I did. We ordered spaghetti in meat sauce and a small cheese pizza. The food was well seasoned, fresh and great portions. The servers are attentive and the bread is piping hot! It has been hard to find a good Italian restaurant that had the mom and pop feel and this is the place has that with a great many selection. Can’t believe I missed out all these years with this hidden gem not too far from my place. Definitely makes the list of favorite local places.

Such an underrated restaurant but very DELICIOUS, the portions are huge! It was 6 of us we got the family deal which includes salads or soup, a large pizza with 2 very decent sized plates of lasagna & or spaghetti for $ 40! I ordered the chicken marsala. We brought home leftovers & had it for dinner the next day

This place has been here forever and it never fails to satisfy my Italian cravings! The couple who own this restaurant are super friendly and make you feel like family! From the salad, the rolls, and your main dish everything is delicious! I will always recommend this place!

By far the best pizza and pasta ever… I love the bread, it’s the best part of eating there, When they first bring you that warm bread and butter while you wait for your meal absolutely delicious…

This was our first visit … Service was great … Food was wonderful … We will be back again. We ordered one of the family meals witch came with 2 salads 2 spaghetti and meat ball meals and a large pizza and 4 rolls. Good was fresh hot and taste great. So much food we took half home to have tomorrow. Rolls came to the table right out of oven they were so hot and the butter melted as soon as you added it. Will be bringing family and friends here. Thanks for the great service and food!

Food is great! Service is great, never been to Italy myself but if I did I think the atmosphere is spot on for how it would be there! Big hearty helpings and fast service! My family has been coming here for years! And don’t plan on stopping! A STAPLE in southern Oxnards fine dining for sure

Love Little Tony’s! A hidden gem in Oxnard for as long as I can remember, and remains the number one place for Italian food as far as I’m concerned. Delicious food and very affordable. My favorite is their eggplant parmesan, but everything I’ve had is delicious. If you haven’t been there give them a try. Small and intimate surroundings and very friendly staff. Bravo to Management and staff for a job well done. Keep up the good work and tasty food.

I only leave reviews when a restaurant is really good or really bad and this restaurant is really bad. It took 10 minutes to get drinks and the bread came out halfway through the meal. Both of these things are forgivable but what really got me was when my chicken fettuccine came out I knew instantly that is was going to be bad. My wife ate about two bites of her clam linguine. When the host finally came back and asked how everything was I told him that my fettuccini was bad he did not blink an eye and just took it away. Didn’t ask why or anything. The food was horrible and the service wasn’t much better. Not one Italian person works there either.

Really good pizza! Lasagna is the best minestrone soup is perfect, rolls made fresh daily. This place is prefect if ur looking for something better and more authentic than Olive Garden because you actually get olives in the side salad at this place. Prices are good too.

Pizza was good crust. Everything fell off into box. This was take out. Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and mushrooms. Steer clear. Better out of a can. I’m so disappointed with attempts at Italian cooking. Miserable failures. Chicken was like chalky rubber. This is my second and last attempt here.

I was craving spaghetti and meatballs and my coworker told me about this place. We checked it out for dinner and just to let you know, the parking lot is kinda scary lol There’s a dark alley nearby and I feel like should run haha. But once you’re inside, it’s really small, cozy and safe lol They have some fresh bread rolls to start which is nice but wasn’t memorable. The spaghetti and meatballs I ordered came in large portions and who doesn’t love big meatballs? They were delish! I forgot what my coworker had(some pasta thing with eggplant?) but it looked good too. Great prices for authentic Italian food. Our server checked up on us frequently but probably because it was us and another group in the restaurant. They give you lollipops with the bill at the end, which is cute because I don’t think I’ve seen that anywhere else lately. Highly recommend this hidden Italian gem in Oxnard :)

It’s easy to miss Little Tony’s, nestled on a side street off busy Ventura behind a strip mall. Yet, hidden in this non-descript location is old-fashioned Italian cooking that is pretty inexpensive and tastes pretty darn good. As you step through the door you’ll encounter a décor that shouts rustic Italian. Mimicking an outdoor Courtyard at night, the scenery is pretty cliché but gets the job done in eliciting comfort to its patrons. Some may balk at the booth-style seating with upholstery that has seen better days, but it’s comfy, and that’s what matters most to me. Food-wise, Little Tony’s doesn’t go beyond the standard, family-style Italian fare. Pizza, pastas, and Italian chicken and steak entrees make up the majority of he selections. There is no bar, and the wine selection is a bit limited. Based on that, you’d think what they lack in diversity they’d make up in quality. Thankfully, I believe they do. Every meal I’ve had has been filling and tasty. Sure, the food isn’t particularly fancy or high-class, but it tastes great. Special mention has to be given to their pizza, which has an excellent, bubbly crust that is perfectly baked with a decent selection of toppings. Even their(mostly) complementary rolls are amazing, freshly baked for each table. I’ve brought restaurant-averse family members here, and they’ve always been happy with their meals. Is Little Tony’s perfect? Of course not. In addition to the issues I mentioned earlier, service can occasionally be slow. But the food is great, the prices are incredibly reasonable, and I happen to like the mood of the place. If this sounds like your deal, I whole heartedly recommending finding this hidden gem and enjoying some Italian.
