While the staff was very friendly, I do feel as if this store is quiet a bit shady. By all of the store signage, and some of the fixtures inside the store, you would think that this is a Verizon Store, but it’s not. EVERYTHING about the setup leads you to believe that this is a Verizon store including when you call, they answer«Verizon Wireless». It’s a shady little wireless shop like many others in Oxnard, but this one is better at covering it up. I should have gotten the hint with how messy and dirty the store is. Because it is not a corporate store, I missed out on about $ 200 worth of promotions when making the switch. They also don’t know how to PROPERLY sell, since the original phone they sold me was a downgrade from my current phone, and I clearly stated what my needs were. I was willing to pay more for the right phone, just not a $ 780 phone… After a second trip back to exchange for the phone I originally came in for(that they said the didn’t have the first time in), I got the phone at a decent price, and the plan I wanted. From this point forward, I’ll be going to the corporate store at The Collection.

Came here to renew my 2 year contract. They told me I had to turn in my old smartphone or else I would have to pay the retail price for the new phone. I ended up going to a different Verizon store and they said I could keep my old phone and I didn’t have to pay retail price for my new phone. Also if you want to pay a bill at this location, be ready to wait atleast an hour. They are always understaffed.

We just left here and I was very impressed with the customer service we experienced. We were helped by a sales person named Max Tostado. We purposely avoided another Verizon store located in Oxnard and came here because we heard it was a smaller store and they were able to help out customers more efficiently. We heard correct. Max Tostado and his co-worker were quick to help and went above and beyond to help us. We will definitely be returning to this store for all our Verizon needs. Thanks Max!

Awesome place to go to, they set me up with my FIOS and its super fast. would recommend to any one, they worked with me on pricing and the staff was very friendly and cared to help me out. ask for Zuriel he is friendly and knows everything about Fios and other Verizon services.

I came here to get new phones with my aunt and uncle. The manager and another sales guy gave terrific customer service and really listened to their needs. I came to make sure that they were not talked into something they didn’t want or need. Overall, I was pleased with the level of professionalism and honesty from both employees. We came with a plan and left with two beautiful smart phones for a reasonable price. No BS and no crazy up-selling or sales pressure. Definitely appreciate that.

So, Verizon Wireless phone sales tells me to buy a department store Verizon«pay as you go» product and have it programmed at a local Verizon store. Sounds simple? No. I went straight to this Verizon store. This store’s sales associate pulled three pricey products before coming out with the phone I wanted for my cellular account. I appreciate the idea of upselling, but dang! Cloth ears. Then, during the 15m wait I had to listen to some juicy sales gossip as personal music at the cash register clashed with the Office music system. So annoying. Huge floor space, but parking and location is difficult to navigate and come with cash $$ in case they say they must order your Verizon product. Got the job done, but it is clear the Upsale is #1 at this store.

First of all, parking is really whack here because this is at 5 points. All the spots in front of Verizon are already occupied and there’s a huge construction truck doing it’s thing next to the store. I end up parking in front of the Kids Dental Kare lol Next, I was the only person in the whole Verizon store and the manager was just talking on the phone. He assisted me on the bill payment while still on the phone and eventually ended his call throughout my transaction. I didn’t have exact change for the phone bill so I expected to get change but he just processed my 2 bills and didn’t give me any money back. I asked about the change and he pretty much just blamed it on me. He could have seen that it was written on the bill how much I wanted to pay(aka the exact amount) but he really didn’t pay attention and just handled it as a done deal. Whatever. I guess the difference in change will be credited to the next account but damn, take care of your customers especially if I’m the only one there and you’re the manager.

this place needs zero stars. my girlfriend started a contract with Verizon at this location and 3 months after starting the contract her phone broke. when she went to file an insurance claim they told her that she needed to mail in the broken phone before the new one would be mailed out or she could make a 300 dollar deposit to have it shipped within 3 business days. this struck me as odd because I have had Verizon for close to a decade and never had to make a 300 dollar deposit to have my phone shipped, just the deductible. well after handing over the 390 we come to find out that this store sells people on some bull&%$+ insurance that frequently rips people off. takes their 90 dollar deductible and their 300 dollar deposit and never ships out the phone. this is very different from the assurion insurance; which I have never had a problem with and is the insurance this store is supposed to be selling people. one week later still no phone and the insurance company starts giving us the run around(hours on hold multiple times only to be hung up on, emails never returned, etc.) after being in the store a half dozen times trying to deal with this issue the moronic employees finally decide its time to fill in the manager. after two weeks of driving to the store every 3 days because the manager victor keeps telling us that’s when the phone would be there… guess what? its still not there. and the employees try to justify this pile or horse droppings by saying«don’t be upset that its taken 2 weeks, today is the first time I’ve personally heard of this so how am I supposed to help you»… what kind of crap is that? I will never step foot in this location again and Verizon should probably stop doing business with them if they want to keep a good reputation in Oxnard.
