Great place to get a meal and they have a huge selection on meals that will satisfy different taste preferences! I came here with my family for brunch and we shared the plates. Their chicken Alfredo is creamy and delicious, stuffed baked potato was the biggest and delicious surprise, fish & chips were light and crispy. My mom had their fish tacos and she didn’t get sick! It’s rare that we will find a place to eat and and she will not have a reaction. So big thumbs up on this place. It’s a great watering hole for locals and people passing through. I got their Teri chicken rice bowl and recommend that too. The restaurant has a great view of the harbor and you can sit inside or go outside. Check this place out!

I understand that sea food like king crab legs are hard to get fresh, especially when not in season. So no problem with previously frozen. The unfortunate part was the crab legs they served me were a bit dried out. Begging the question… exactly how long had they been frozen. Think we will stick to the bar food and cocktails. Service great! Atmosphere nice!

Love there spicy shrimp ! They have really good buffalo wings and shrimp tacos aswell. Servers are very polite. Awesome view of the Channel Islands harbor. But a bit cold during winter. So bring a sweater. They also have a full bar. They have a good sushi menu. My buddy got it and said they where very good. I didn’t try them myself tho. The only reason why it’s not a 5 star is because u got to order first and pay. I would rather order from my table and being able to order more from the table instead of getting up over and over. «sushi bar»

Just left Sea Fresh Happy hour and I am happy. Lived out of the area for the last few years and am so happy to be back and so happy that Sea Fresh is as good as I remember! Best happy hour menu — ever — and such a cool group of ppl hang out there, I went alone but was enjoying company of several happy hour attendees before too long as I enjoyed my mimosas and fresh oysters!

Went there today ordered some chicken enchilada soup. Not only did I wait 25 mins for soup(only 3 people other than me in the whole place) but when I got it the chicken in the soup was as hard as a rock. I’m guessing they keep left over chicken and throw it in the pot when they can’t sell it otherwise. Elderly Hispanic man offered to give me a half refund. That was it for me. I left.

This place is great! We got the boys sliders which looked good. The husband and I got fish and chips(3 pcs with chips). Great service, great atmosphere, beautiful view of the harbour. It’s after 8 and they have a line out the door. Highly recommend you come here.

This was an interesting place. You order your meal at the counter and they waitstaff will bring it out to you. The prices are fair, but range. The swordfish and salmon dinners were prepared very well. The side steamed vegetables were good. The pigeons with the outdoor seating were a little annoying. My recommendation is to sit inside. The bartenders seem to be friendly. Give it a try…

This is one of the most bizarre places I’ve ever seen. It’s a walk up ordering place, with $ 20-$ 40 plates. There is staff that delivers everything to you, but isn’t really trained on the menu. There is a small bar you can sit at, but otherwise you need to get up and get everything yourself. There is a small salad bar that is not clean or well stocked. You get your own sodas, but you have to use a fork to unjam the ice. The management doesn’t seem to understand the difference between keeping customers happy and saving a few pennies. There’s a hand written sign on the soda fountain that says«stealing soda is low budget.» This has the potential to be an amazing location. The food is good. There’s ample outside seating. The prices are decent. But not for that kind of service. In their defense, we did come on a particularly busy day, when for whatever reason they were short staffed. In our defense, the food delivery guy told us the bread came with the potato, and after we didn’t get the side of bread that was ordered, we figure it out, asked for a replacement side for the people who ordered/paid for it, and were treated as if we were stealing by the manager. I feel like this place has an inventory/theft/food cost issue and so they treat everyone who comes in like they are a thief. It’s not a good way to do business. There were delays on food delivery because there was only one sushi chef. So after we were done eating, we got our sushi. We had ordered a dessert, only to have it never arrive. When we went to cancel it and get a refund, we had to wait an additional 30 mins for them to find the check, void the credit card, and then recharge it. All in all, it was just disorganized and messy. It is like the place is trying to do too many different things and has no focus. If you want to drop $ 20-$ 40 on a good seafood dinner, go somewhere with a waiter, where management wants you to come back. Signed 10 people from Ventura/Oxnard who won’t be back

After journeying to the Channel Islands, a girl is hungry. This was at least the third place I ate fish tacos on my trip up the PCH. I love fish tacos more than(insert bad joke here). Now, I’m not gonna say you need to go out of your way to eat here, but if you’re getting off a boat cruise you might as well make things convenient. Now that I say that, I don’t really know what else Oxnard has to offer so my opinion is probably worthless. So come on down, because our fish tacos are the BeeeeEEESSSSSTTTtttt!!!

Great food; love the clam chowder and the calamari is seasoned better than any I’ve had before. Happy hour is loooooong(until close) and a great deal. We ordered a ton of food and our bill only came out to $ 27.00– we were shocked. The view is beautiful — right on the harbor. We sat outside overlooking grass and boats on the water. Almost no one walking by. Relaxing light reggae type music and decent noise level. This place was a score! Would definitely recommend and can’t wait to come back!

The food here is decent and the prices are a little higher than what you would expect for a meal or even sushi, but then again – you’re also paying for the ambiance. I guess… Don’t get me wrong. It’s a beautiful spot right in Channel Island overlooking the water and the food I had was really tasty. It was just a long wait for our food and if I had a huge appetite that day, I wouldn’t have been so happy. But we were next to the water… I only ordered the Ceviche Tostada Appetizer and a Spicy Tuna Roll with two waters. That ran me around $ 20. And had I not asked for more chips and salsa, I probably would have been still hungry. Maybe it’s better to go during happy hour… Overall, the location is intimate and I do love their outside patio for dining. However, the sushi is very, very average compared to what is available in southern California and not really worth the price. And somehow the service was really lacking. Absolutely no personal touch…

I’ve been coming to Sea Fresh for years. This is my Spot! Great food & Great service. You come in, you order & seat yourself. You can choose to sit at the bar or find a table indoors & watch TV, or sit outdoors… I love the clam chowder & calamari. They are my favorites, I always start off with that. They have a lot of food to choose from. From seafood to sushi to sliders. I Love, love everything off the Happy Hour Menu… I need to come early & try their breakfast, everything looks good. Everyone is friendly & polite. & if you’re a regular, they know you by name. Bartenders are awesome & waiters are Great. I come here for my Clam chowder or Calamari Fix & will continue coming here for grub & drinks: D

Greatest happy hour in Oxnard! Hard to find a spot at the bar when happy hour is going down though. I love how inventive the rolls are. I’m not usually a fan of rolls, but I totally love them here. I love the this sliders, and the garlic tuna roll. Greg and Bianca are the best ever!

I don’t usually rate a place after only one visit, but I’m going to here. I’m a sushi fiend. I have it more than a few times a month if money allows. I crave it often so when a coworker said this place was close to her house and seemed to have decent reviews, I was on board. I need the sushi, right? Sushi isn’t their main offering so I’m being generous because the other items on their menu looked good. I ordered their house garlic roll, a spicy tuna roll, and a bay scallop roll. My friend ordered a California roll and an order of calamari. If I’m going by taste of food alone here’s my arbitrary rating on what I ordered/tried on a scale of 1 – 5 Calamari:4.5 House garlic roll: 5 Spicy tuna roll: 4 Bay scallop roll: 2 So an 3.5 rating Calamari was lightly breaded and seasoned perfectly, the garlic roll was delicious as was the spicy tuna. Both had such fresh seafood and amazing flavor. The bay scallop just wasn’t my cuppa. I love scallops, but these raw did nothing for me in this particular roll. Then there was the wait. I understand if they only have one sushi chef, but the fact reminds I watched other people who ordered after me get their sushi before I got my first roll. After 20 mins I had to walk up to the register and ask after my food and even then I still waited before my other rolls came out. My friend received and finished her roll and had to wait on me which I hate. That delay ruined it a little for me. The food helped give them a 2.5 star rating from me, but the wait for no reason dropped them quick. Food is solid, but I know I won’t go back because there are faster options in the area.

With a view of the harbor and fresh seafood what is not to love. There is a large outside patio that is dog friendly. The food I have ordered here has all been tasty. Most recently I wanted a small healthy meal and ordered the shrimp teriyaki bowl with brown rice. It was good and a healthy choice. If you order one of their combo plates you can choose a salad instead of fries. The salad is a salad bar and all you can eat! I just wish they did a better job at clearing off and wiping down tables. They seem to be short staffed. Only one person bringing out food orders and cleaning off tables.
