This place sucks and expensive the food has no flavor and the diner was dirty I had to clean my own table while the staff was bull shiting first and last time I eat in this dump. I love Mexican food but not this place. Super taco sux

I actually came for the carnitas place down the street but they were closed. Didn’t want to go back empty so tried this place but should have kept on going. $ 1.75 for tacos; ordered 2 carne asada, carnitas, and al pastor for $ 7. They were pretty small and although I asked for all the topping, lazy cook missed about half of the surface. Carnitas was good, asada just okay, but pastor was swimming in fat/juice. I was still hungry so found El Pollo Norteno down a few blocks.

First time coming here. Wasn’t impressed. I mean it wasn’t bad but it wasn’t amazing either. The prices are pretty cheap but the burrito I ordered was decent at best. They also got my taco order wrong.

Their cabeza tacos are the best in the area. Tender, juicy meat with generous portions and only $ 1.25/taco. Can’t beat the quality and the price here! There is an eating area inside. If you are ordering to go, there is an outside window where you order and pay. They are CASH only.

This place is great. Carne asada tacos and carnitas tcos are the best. This is the only place my kids will eat asada from. And tey have very good horchata. I recommend this place and the prices are great.

Best tacos in town. They give you a huge helping of asada. Nice staff too. My prego wife is addicted to this place. There meat has little to no fat or gristle, which is different from most taco joints in the Nard. Trust me, I’ve been to 95% of them. There’s nothing worse than biting into a burrito or taco that is full of fat. And their tacos are only 1.25 each… Great job Super Taco.

Love this place! Carne Asada Burrito is always delicious! Love the Horchata too! It’s just great. I usually order thru the window and take it to go. Sometimes I will eat inside. Never disappointed when I come here.

I’ve been coming here since the 80’s, and will continue to come here! Awesome food — I have yet to be disappointed! Their Carnitas Burrito and their Chile Relleno Burrito??? The bomb!

came on a Sunday afternoon to get some lunch. I read the ratings saying it got 4 stars on Unilocal, when my girlfriend received our food order from the lady, she said my g/f was very pretty. other than that everything is downhill. no flavor, nasty quesadilla, I had four bites and I was not hungry anymore , the best part of it all that I had my girlfriend try my food. she had the most disgusting look on her face and then she spit it out. please don’t eat here. every table inside was dirty

Good food. Nice people. Too bad a guy was shot dead in front though. That was a bummer.

I know everyone loves TDM but these guys are no different. I like that you can just walk up to the window from the outside to order. They have a nice lounge area with a a walkup window as well. In case it’s too cold to be outside. I always get the cabeza burrito with cheese, sour cream and salsa verde. Don’t forget the large horchata too. Soo good. If you ever want breakfast, they make awsome chorizo and egg burritos too.

Decided to eat here because we wanted carne asada fries. Considering that carne asada fries is not the easiest thing to find this far from San Diego, it wasn’t bad. But it wasn’t great. Fries were nice and crispy. However, I wish there was guacamole and more carne asada. It’s a taco stand in Downtown Oxnard, so it’s not the cleanest place in the world. I’ve been to grimier restaurants, including TDM right on that same street.

My second time eating at this spot and both times I left with a huge tasty burrito that kept me full from lunch until dinner. I knew super taco would be great because of all the mexicans that were lined up out front. I’m from the east coast where Jamaican food is popular and the best places are usually the hole in the wall joints as this is. The Cabesa burrito is to die for!!!

Fine, yes. This place is dirty. I, however, am there for the food. I don’t recommend eating there as the tables are often dirty & because the customers can be a little too blunt about checking you out(warning to the ladies). I rarely eat in & already know what to expect, but more often than not, the food’s usually to go… The burritos there are unrivaled in Oxnard, particularly when you consider the price, a mere $ 3.50! I’ve probably been eating @ this place since before I was even born, so I can confidently say their burritos are consistently good. We usually order al pastor, cabeza, asada, lengua, or chicken, & all are delicious & very filling. Not in the best area of Oxnard but if you’re looking for authenticity, then here is a legit hole in the wall find. +1 for price +1 for quantity –1 for dining area(Spare yourself the agony & just order @ the window)

Quality best describes this place. One of the better taco places in Oxnard. The horchata here isn’t too bad either! I don’t get what people mean by «dirty» either! Isn’t the«authentic» food supposed to be a little dirty anyways? I’ve never been sick from this place. Although Super Taco isn’t my favorite for burritos in Oxnard, it’s one of the better ones that I keep coming back to through the years!

I never understood why people said that Super Taco was super dirty – I was like«WTF it’s a taco stand, it’s on the street, of course it’s going to be a little dirty.» I totally get it now, it wasn’t until recently that I discovered that they had an indoor dining area. It’s dirty. LOL. Just order at the window outside and take your food to go. I think the reason why the burritos are so good is because of the rice – it’s so fluffy and flavorful! Plus, they only cost $ 3.50(cheap eats, yay). I’m a fan of the red salsa. It’s smoky, as the red chiles are grilled the night before for next day’s batch. +1 for being open late; I believe up to 2am Fri-Sat. That’s unheard of in Oxnard… wild!

In the heart of the nard, super taco on 5th street is one of the best hole in the wall Mexican resturants. I say the sketchier the place looks the better! They cook the meat lard so it’s really tasty! and the hot sauce is quite delicious also it has the right amount of flavor and the right amount of spicy-ness! The burritos are HUGE and they are generous with the amount of chips. –service is usually good –indoor seating is kinda dirty so it’s best to get it to go — long lines aren’t really a problem, but the best times are after lunch and after dinner hours. It’s a great place to go if you want a «dirty» burrito that’s filling and tasty and cheap!!! -

Rarely has an eatery ever been so dirty that it has detracted from my overall experience. Well, Super Taco was kind of expected since it’s in Downtown Oxnard, so I just sucked it up and gave it a go. Finally. Carnitas Taco — 3⁄5. Somewhat dry. I miss the ‘deep fried’ version from Taqueria El Tapatio. Carne Asada Taco — 4⁄5. Not bad. Not bad at all. I wish I had ordered two of these instead of… Pollo Taco — 1⁄5. The chicken was so pink and the fat wasn’t peeled off on some pieces. It’ll ruin your appetite. Sure it ‘might’ be marinated, but even the worker had trouble comprehending what I wanted to order(It was the last item on the left hand side of the menu). Thumbs down! Final Mood: Dirty. This place actually deserves 2.5 stars, but the burritos looked good and was only $ 3.50, so I guess I’ll just round up. Skip the friggin’ Chicken taco and take your food to go!
