I’ve ordered here a handful of times. While the food is decent, their delivery times are horrible. If you are okay with a 1:30 to 2:00 hour delivery window, then order away. Sometimes they inform you of the long delivery time, sometimes they don’t. Orders for pickup are not advisable. The location is in a very bad area of town and the location is nothing more than a pick-up window. Hopefully they hire more delivery persons in the future.

This place came through in a pinch! We were starving, craving pizza but didn’t want to pay the price of restaurants near our hotel(The Gaylord). Glorious seemed like a good option because it was affordable. We got a large pepperoni pizza and the sampler plate. We paid less than $ 25! Perhaps the cheapest meal during our visit to National Harbor. The pizza was good and the items on the sampler plate(mozzarella sticks, chicken wings and chicken tenders) was delicious. Big servings of each item. My only complaint is that my marinara sauce was cold. We also received our food in the less than 40 minutes!

Delivery was pretty fast for a Friday night! We ordered a cheese pizza, which was great!!! And also ordered mozzarella sticks and french fries with cheese which both weren’t very good. The mozzarella sticks were really greasy, the fries were really spicy and the cheese on top had no point. It had no taste and probably would have been better without it. But, the pizza was so good, I still give this place 4 stars.

Very fast delivery, almost flawless ordering on line and the food was very good. I would recommend them to anybody looking for a delivery meal nice people to deal with!

Had the spaghetti and shrimp the first time I ordered… slathered in cheese and tomato sauce. The pasta is far past al dente and the sauce is incredibly bland. Decided to give them another try and ordered the shrimp quesadillas the second time around. These were pretty good. The flavor was what one would expect from a combination o cheese, onions, and shrimp. I decided that I simply ordered the wrong thing the first time and that it wasn’t as bad as I’d originally thought. This evening, I decided to order the seafood platter. Being in D.C. and the restaurant being in Southern MD, I figure that it couldn’t be that bad even if the things were relatively cheap. The crab cake was NOTHING but fillers, I do not believe I tasted crab in there at all. There was a brick-like substance that was supposed to be fried fish and little over-battered balls that were supposed to be fried shrimp. Bland, overcooked, filled with who knows what and disgusting. It all was. The majority of the platter is currently tied up in the bag it was delivered and awaiting the trashcan. Normally 3rd time is a charm but, I can honestly say, I will never order from Glorious again.

My food was better than expected. I ordered cheese steak & it was delicious. The bread was fresh & the fixing was exactly what I asked for. My daughter ordered honey barbecue wings & fries. She enjoyed hers as well. I found this place on GrubHub. I will be ordering again.

I order from Glorious fairly regularly since they’re one of the only non-chain pizza delivery spots in the area. Their food is fairly standard for a pizza delivery shop, akin to a Jerry’s Pizza & Subs. At any rate, my most recent experience with them will keep my business away from them. My order was simple: jalapeño poppers, garlic bread w/cheese, and a Greek calzone w/no onions. About 30 minutes later I get a call from the shop saying they made the calzone with marinara instead of tzatziki. And, they asked if this was acceptable. NO! Of course it’s not acceptable. No restaurant knowingly sends out food that’s not what the customer ordered. This isn’t like cooking a steak to medium if rare was requested(and most restaurants will fix their error when the customer notices). This would be more like ordering fish and getting a steak. My response to Glorious? «No…I’d like to get what I ordered.» After that, they abruptly hung up. Waiting another 30ish minutes for delivery which was expected since they were presumably correcting the calzone, the delivery driver arrives. I bring my food inside and discover the calzone is stuffed with more onion than anything else. And, there’s no sauce whatsoever. So, Glorious, thanks for being so vindictive over your own screw up. You’ll never get an order from me again.

Off to a great start when you see the place is in a abandoned with overgrown weeds looking parking lot and when you can’t help but notice the«restaurant» ramped up security measures – you have to order through an almost entirely closed off see-through partition with a tiny opening. In any case, it is what it is. I ordered the 10 piece chicken wings(plain), fried mushrooms, and a side salad. When I ordered the guy told me 20 minutes. I came back 25 minutes later, and was told they ran out of chicken wings Wtf??? and had to cook another batch and I had to wait another 20 minutes. What I think happened was they gave my wings to somebody else. Despite having to wait 45 fricken minutes, I rated 2 stars for what this place is… a takeout joint in Oxon Hill in a sketchy neighborhood. The fried foods were piping hot and the salad was crisp and cool. I was given a free bottle of water and a can of soda for the wait. If you come here, don’t expect ambience and don’t expect customer service. It’s kind of pointless in these places to waste one’s energy and argue with them about customer service. All they will hear is blah, blah, blah. Therefore I really don’t feel like spending any more time talking about this place.

Very friendly service. Delivery took just over the promised 45 minutes, but was absolutely worth the wait! Here are the 4 things I ordered ranked, #1 being favorite and #4 least favorite: 1. Spicy chicken quesadilla — salivating at the thought 2. Italian cold cut 3. Wings(hot) — good, but not really hot 4. Alfredo pasta with chicken and broccoli-definitely needed salt; lacked flavor overall, save yourself the trouble and go with #1. Glorious is definitely going into my delivery rotation!

Don’t spend a cent with them!!! I called from the Gaylord. Asked if thin crust was an option. Was reassured that it was an option. Ordered a thin pizza but received a hand tossed. Called to inquire why I wasn’t given what I ordered also asked if thin was an additional cost. Was lied to and spoke to in rude manner. Small businesses should insist on awesome service and this was AWFUL.

My friend ordered pizza which was amazing! The sauce is very sweet and good but I ordered the shrimp Alfredo pasta which didn’t taste like anything but butter… strange thing is when I looked in the bottom I found what looked like lard in my pasta! It wasn’t butter or cheese because it didn’t melt or taste like it… I believe it was lard and lots of it! I threw up my entire lunch and was very disappointed with this as my stomach is already sensitive! They should really warn people. I wasn’t for Alfredo pasta tasting like nothing but I prefer tasting like nothing over lard anyday!

Standard late night delivery, pizza place. If thats what you’re looking for, then this is the best place in the oxon hill area. And their delivery is pretty fast.

Ordered from here while staying at The Gaylord and picked it up since we had a rental car. Ordered an XL pizza(sausage and mushroom), breadsticks and the fried mushrooms. It was actually pretty good, the mushrooms on the pizza were especially yummy and the breadsticks were good too. Great alternative to the commercialized and overpriced National Harbor places and would recommend to anyone staying in the area!

I went to oxon hill and grew up here. I finally come here on a Wensday and had some really oily soft pizza. Manager owner is not much a people person either. I think this place will be closing soon if they don’t provide better food or service.

My office is right down the street from Glorious Pizza & Subs. This was our first experience eating here and it was pretty good. I mean you can’t expect too much from carry-out places. I ordered the jalepeno poppers and the grilled chicken salad. The jalepeno poppers were average, same with the salad. None of my co-workers complained about their food, so all in all I think this is an average carry-out place, nothing special.

ordered a philly sub and a jalapeño pepperoni pizza. got a philly with lettuce and tomato. i got lettuce on a hot sandwich. they put lettuce and tomato on a hot sandwich. and my pizza had no jalapenos. 3rd time ive ordered from them and every time it took an hour, was wrong and disgusting. i had no choice so i kept giving them more chances but never again. they charged me for my extras last time and never gave me them on top of ruining my hot sandwich with lettuce and tomato.

The food was not upto par, I ordered a shrimp basket w western fries n a cheeseburger. First off I thought they gave me a bun w no meat bc the patty was smaller than a frozen patty you buy at the market. I really didn’t even c it @ first. Then the burger itself was dry. I’m happy I asked for mayo ketchup n mustard otherwise I may have choked. The western fries had no seasoning whatsoever, isn’t that the point of western fries. The shrimp weren’t bad but next time can you take the tails off prior to frying.

It’s OK. I was at the Westin in the harbor and wanted a good slice of pizza. The reviews for all the pizza places in the harbor were so-so, so I went with Glorious. I sort of wish that I would have tried the one of the Italian restaurants that offered pizza in the harbor, regardless of their reviews. I was looking for something a little different and this pizza taste like every other little pizza joint in my neighborhood(Capitol Hill — DC) Grade wise I give it a C+. C+ is average right? #shrugs
