Godiva Chocolatier

Marvin took very good care of us while in this store. Friendly and courteous. Will come back. Of course the candy was so good.

I love chocolate! Especially if it has hazelnuts, pecans or almonds in it…
Anyway, I was just hanging out at the harbor and decided to visit the chocolatier. There appeared to be only one employee on duty and she handled the sudden flood of customers very well — courteous and good good service. I tried the white chocolate shake — pretty good for a «water based» shake but a little pricey for a shake ($ 6 — ouch!). As far as the chocolate, well I believe the name Godiva speaks for itself.
Godiva have a chocolate rewards program — I believe it includes one free piece of chocolate (some exclusions apply) each calendar month and some free candies for your birthday. There may be other perks too… I just can’t remember right now.

4 people behind the counter, one person waiting for drinks at the counter and we still had to announce we were ready to order. Just poor service…

Walked in and the employees were just standing their staring at us. No hello, hi tell I said something to them. It seemed it was shift change as half left shortly afterwards. The place is a good size, but not much to look at. They also don’t carry everything as friend from NYC was looking for specific items NYC stores carry and they didn’t have it. I didn’t get a Godiva feel from here, just a chocolate store feel.

The staff here are very friendly. If ever you need some chocolate or just cruising around this location stop by to get some great service, and great chocolate.

Came in on a whim while walking around, and decided to buy some chocolate covered strawberries. They weren’t as cold as they should of been, but it was still yummy. The guy helping us was helpful and friendly as well too.

Strawberry Shake was good but pricey like everything in the dc area. Service was good.
