Morgan Gentry’s is a local town bar. It’s small and everyone knows you name, it’s kind of like«Cheers.» But what it lacks in size, it makes up for in character. Old wood floors and a large bar to start. They have a outside area in the back for the smokers, for music they have a modern juke box that puts out great sound, for fun you can play darts to test your skills, and they have a pretty decent food menu. The best part is the bartender, Matt, who is a die hard New York Giants fan(Sorry for the cheap Giants plug) which is great! I went there on a Saturday and took a walk down memory lane. So many people from my past were there and not to mention they pulled out a chess board(That’s the nerd in me that loves chess). I would definitely go back to hang out if I’m ever in town again. It’s a good pre-game spot because they offer good prices on drinks.

Always a fun and happy place. Good libations and excellent food. Leo, the cook is a hidden talent. They do buy back, just not on Fri nites when the young girl works. She saves those buybacks and gives her boyfriend all the free drinks. Other than that, a great place to visit. The owner, Kevin is a gentleman.

Local Bar. I totally forgot about Morgan Gentry’s in town — until I saw that Ricky got the«first to review»… damn. In any case, this is a great little locals bar which is mostly for the younger crowd. That being said, there is never a hassle with the people hanging here. I like that they have a fireplace(in the winter, it totally rocks) and some great tunes are always on. Never tried the food but I’ve heard it is decent. Small open patio area in the front but it sits right on busy Pine Hollow Road. Parking on the street.
