New 4-U Nails

This is my favorite nail salon. Ever since I first came here 2 years ago, I haven’t stopped. I can’t find a better gel manicure anyplace else. The staff is friendly and the place is always clean. I’ll never go anyplace else to get my nails done.

This is my local salon and I love them! Lucky me! The prices are high, but if it’s quality work, I don’t mind paying. They have a huge selection of polishes (gel, non-​gel and longer-​lasting). Extremely clean and sanitary. I know others complain about the speed at which they work — «too fast», but I am busy and I want to get my nails done and go. I’m not there to be entertained. These girls and guys are doing a great job. I applaud them!

It’s so hard to find a good nail salon on Long Island but 4U Nail is it! I am an extremely particular person when it comes to my nails and I couldn’t be happier with Susan and I wouldn’t go to any other person!(But don’t get me wrong all the techs are very talented and def know what they are doing! I wouldn’t hesitate going to someone else, its just that Susan does a great job in shaping my nails and she’s fun to chat with!) I get so many compliments on my almond shaped nails and recommend them to all of my friends!
Their pedicures are also out of this world! The chairs are super comfortable and give a great message as they work on your toes. There are so many services to choose from as well. The staff is very professional and always friendly and smiling.
The salon itself is very very very clean which is HUGE because there are so many germy nail salons and its hard to find one to trust. There is a huge color selection for both Gel Manicures and Regular and they always help you pick out a color and are super patient.
4U Nails gets 5 Stars! I’d give more if I could!

When it comes to my nails, I am extremely hard to please. Every nail needs to be filed and cut properly. I have never found a place that is so clean and great at nails. I recommend Gigi who is super fun and excellent! She does not rush, she does not miss a nail, she cuts every cuticle until there’s nothing left. Exactly what I need to ensure a great and long lasting manicure. This place is so clean, they use disposable pedicure inserts that sit in the tub so your bacteria is not mixed with other customer’s. They are extremely accommodating while making your visit worth while and enjoyable. The staff at 4U Nails does not compare to any other local nail salon. They are highly trained, skilled and welcoming.

Outstanding salon and staff. Gigi is extremely talented at uv nails. Gary gives an amazing pedicure! Always takes his time and does such a good job. Nails 4 u is definitely the best nail salon around!

They are expensive and even if you make an appointment you wait a while. They only do an Ok job on gel manicure, they cut my dads foot doing his pedicure and didn’t even have a bandaid thankfully I had one. There are so many other nail salons I think they are overpriced and rushed.

Always on-point…talented technicians who are attentive and know how to get the job done well and satisfy customers…

Whenever I need a mani/​pedi this is my go to. The selection of colors they have is so abundant it usually takes me 5 minutes just to decide on a shade. Although it is usually extremely busy, I have never had to wait more than a few minutes. They also take the time to try and seat you next to whoever you may have come with which is always appreciated.
I usually opt for a manicure, which is $ 12, I would consider this price to be very fair as I have seen manicures in the surrounding areas for around $ 8-​$ 20. Once and a while my manicure doesn’t last as long as I would have hoped but if it chips the next day just swing by and they will happily touch it up for you. The salon is extremely clean and sanitary which is a must for me.

I come here regularly now because they are very friendly and always have a spot for me.
Mani and pedis are great, specially if you chose the spa pedi.

Since moving back home I have gotten my manicures here every week and they are always perfect. I rarely ever have to wait more than Agee minutes and they make sure to keep my nails looking great and feeling strong. They have advanced their manicures with top quality base coats and a strengthening quick-​dry top coats which will set you back $ 12 but is well worth it. While I choose to go weekly I rarely actually need to since the nails stay like new for up to 10 days which is incredible for a basic manicure.
I have also had pedicures which are great but nothing too special. I have had gel as well which was also done to perfection. I have tried other places and it is simply not worth it. If your going to pamper and take care of yourself don’t waste your time or money anywhere else!

I’ve been here a few times, and it’s only ok. They go very fast and skip a lot of the steps in a regular mani or pedi. It only took them 30min for them to do my hands and feet. It feels very rushed every time I’m in there and my toe nail color chipped that night. Definitly over priced and a rushed experiance.

I love this nail salon, I’ve been going once a week for a manicure and sometimes a pedi too. While yes, it is a little overpriced, the staff are still super friendly and the place is clean. I’ve also never had to wait longer than 15 minutes and I tend to go around 5.30−6ish. I think the fact it gets busy speaks for itself — it’s popular.
So if you can afford to spend a little extra, it’s perfect.

I had gone there a few times for a few different services. One of those times I had had a Brazilian wax and it cost $ 60.00 plus tip. I went to another place after that and the woman did a nice GENTLE job and she only charged $ 35.00 but she is a bit far away (closer to where I work). This last time I went, that other place wasn’t available so I called 4 U Nails and flat out asked how much it would cost for a Brazilian and was told $ 42.00. I thought well, ok. Its closer, they’re available, so I went. This woman that did the waxing was HORRIBLE, she killed me because she was in such a rush. I kept asking her to take it easy and she pretended she didn’t understand. I couldn’t wait to for it to be over. When it came time to pay, they charged me the $ 60.00 and I said but you told me it was $ 42.00, she refused to let me have it for the price they quoted me. Then, I still had to tip the girl (thanks for instilling that in me MOM) as I held out $ 20.00 to ask her for change she snatched it out of my hand (as if) and I said whoa, that’s not your tip, I need change. You should have seen the look on her face! I gave her $ 10.00 and bought myself a caramel latte after that nightmare! I would definitely go somewhere else! They are not truthful people!

Appointments mean nothing at this salon. This salon has some good points, some bad. The best feature is a no cell phone policy, which surprisingly most people follow. There is nothing worse than trying to relax and listen to some loser blabbing away too loud about stuff too personal. The staff is good, polite, but not all know everything. For example I was getting a pedicure and needed a silk wrap on a problem nail, another girl had to do it, so I had to tip her too. Don’t they teach silk wraps at beauty school? The bad is you call to make an appointment, they agree, you get there only to wait, and wait, when you seem restless they put you in a chair, and you wait. Twice I’ve been made to wait 30 minutes! Once they had me in the pedi chair, water getting cold, I finally just left. Also $$$.

the exterior is very deceiving, it’s a fairly large salon with several flat screen TVs, and quiet calming atmosphere with a new, hip zen like design. I came here because I needed a new local salon. Everything was clean and new, they have a never ending wall of colors to choose from, even their selection of Gel polish was big. I’m very pleased with the service and quality of my pedicure and gel-​mani, but the price is YOWZA! I generally only treat myself to a mani/​pedi every 4 months, or for a special occasion. I’m always in gloves/​always washing my hands at work, so it’s useless to get weekly mani… So it doesn’t hit my wallet too hard, I’d definitely come back

Love this place. Always friendly and even when they’re busy, they try to not have you wait forever. A bit pricey for a Mani/​Pedi but its worth it.

This place is very clean and very new. Unfortunately, it’s also VERY expensive. $ 35 for a standard mani/​pedi? You’ve got to be kidding me.
Will my search for a reasonably priced manicure and pedicure never end?!
