My husband and I love going to Spring Creek Tea Room! Tea, chicken salad, and cakes are so yummy. I love the ambiance also.

Charming place! Its always busy so be prepared to wait or browse the antiques while you wait. I have been told by locals to order your desert with your meal because the deserts run out quickly. My husband had the chicken salad sandwich and I had the house salad with apples and pecans. My husband liked the chicken salad except for the grapes in it. My salad was great. We had pumpkin apple cake and raspberry crunch cake for desert. The deserts were excellent. The trip to Ozark is worth it just for the cakes and pies. The lunch choices are typical for a tea room. The menu consist of sandwiches, a couple of soups and salads. Allergy alert Alot of foods on the menu contain nuts!

Excellent place for lunch! Everything here is home made from the bread, to the salad dressing, and the dozens of cakes and pies. But come quick because dessert will go fast. There’s also a nice antique store to look around if you have to wait for a table.

I recently had lunch with a friend at this cute little tea room. It has a nice setting in the back of a little antique shop. I didn’t find anything I couldn’t live without in the shop, but it was fun to look around while I waited for my friend. I read all of the amazing reviews before going and decided I HAD to try the chicken salad sandwich and I HAD to get a piece of that famous cake. The sandwich was good, definitely edible, but nowhere near the best I have ever had. For dessert I ordered the chocolate cake(you can never go wrong with chocolate cake), and it was AMAZING! You definitely need to try it if you go!

This is a hidden gem. The chicken salad I the best from anyone who I have brought here. My favorite I the dessert the menu changes daily with over 200 different options but they have like 12 – 15 each day. My wife and I share a sandwich so we can each get a dessert. They accept phone orders which is great. If you check on Facebook they have the menu daily. Driving down to Branson stop for a reasonable lunch with top notch desserts.

Love this place. Great for kids. Ladies lunch, etc. I’ve never had anything here that wasn’t great. Good flavors and friendly and attentive service. You may have to wait awhile to get seated but it’s always worth the wait!

Get there BEFORE noon and walk right to a table. After-and wait up to 45 minutes! However, you can easily wile away the time by browsing the large flea market. Adore their chicken salad on croissant or marbled rye. Cold strawberry soup is like dessert during summer. Roast beef sandwich is hearty. Order your cake as soon as you sit down or it will be swiped from you by one in the know! Check out the cool interiors store just next door-seriously do it!

The food is wonderful– fresh, crisp and everything a tea room should be. However, get your meal to go! The wait can go over 2 hours on Fridays and Saturdays. It is not worth that long of a wait. But if you can get in to a seat, the service is wonderful and everything is home made. Highly recommended!

Just had our first visit to this place. Devoured a great sandwich and a very moist slice of chocolate cake. server kept my coffee cup full, which seems difficult for some servers during a rush hour, but not this one. Had a fantastic time at the bookstore next door. There were both men and women in our party. Everyone had a good time. Nobody had any complaints about the food or service. I would love to book a big party here!

My sister who is an excellent baker has raved about this place for months. I was finally in town on my way overseas and got a chance to visit here. I had a very tasty cup of corn/chicken soup. The chef’s salad was excellent and had pieces of strawberry in it; however, I would suggest that this salad could be GREATLY improved by using a quality cheese rather than what appeared and tasted to be white American cheese cut in strips. I had the strawberry earthquake cake which was excellent but too sweet and too much to finish. I highly recommend a visit to this quaint spot with excellent homemade cakes. My sister gave me a taste of her chicken salad sandwich — yummy. The chicken salad has grape pieces in it as well as a bit of cinnamon. Tasted super and better than I expected. Sis who is a great cook, said she has never had anything that wasn’t excellent here; however, we both agreed that the cheese in the salad needs to be improved! Make a reservation the day before and go early to view the antiques before lunch.

Do not eat here. Tea room canceled my reservation that I made for 11 am and gave my table away at 10:45 am and told me at 10:50 that it was going to be another hour long wait. This is poor customer service.

If you love cake, you need to eat here. They make an assortment of cakes daily, and when they are gone, they are gone for the rest of the day. The cakes are sold by the slice, and while every cake is unique, they are all tasty. There are a lot of items to look at on your way to the dining area and while you wait for a table. The cake must be eaten in at a table, so those of you hoping to score a to go cake for later better plan to eat an early lunch before you head home. This place fills up.

I love Spring Creek Tea Room! You absolutely cannot go wring here with anything you order. The strawberry soup is amazing, and the veggie sandwich is so good, it’s dangerous. Once you try the veggie sandwich, you will crave it. Try it, you can’t go wrong!

If you live anywhere near this place you NEED to go. Dare I say a better lunch for their inexpensive prices is increasingly hard to come by. Though if you plan on eating in, the traditional one hour lunch break probably won’t cut it. This quaint little place gets BUSY!(I have actually waited for up to 45 minutes to be seated). But don’t let the wait scare you away, it is located inside an antique mall so rather than salivate while watching others eat you can pass the time productively by perusing through other people’s junk. For the impatient, you can actually call ahead and get your name on «the list.» It’s not the same as a reservation, but when you arrive you do get priority over the walk-ins. Also, once you do get seated the food comes out astonishingly quickly. Enjoying an afternoon meal at the Spring Creek Tea Room feels like being at your grandma’s house and it leaves an imprint on your memory. The antique mismatched tables, and the lacy table trimmings makes the effort seem somehow more sincere. The flavors get stuck in your mind like a song on repeat. Right now, I can’t get that beloved cold strawberry soup out of my mind. While the menu is modest and simple; offering a spread of sandwiches, soups, and salads, the food experience is unique. It would be a crime to come to this place and not order dessert. They have literally over a few hundred recipes and their cake making prowess is actually a local legend. Each day they will prepare over a dozen three layer fresh cakes, cheesecakes, and pies which the patrons lay to waste in the mere three hours in which they are open. So absolutely do not skip dessert! You can split a piece if you are worried about your waistline as they are substantial helpings. Just the variety of dessert flavors will blow your mind. If these place wasn’t significantly off my beaten path, it would certainly become part of the regular rotation.

Go! Go early! Go with friend, friends or alone! You may get to sit with a new friend.(they won’t make you, they will ask if it’s okay to share your table) This is girl food at its finest: marble rye for your sandwiches, mixed greens salads with unique dressings, flavored teas, flowers at the table, fun mismatched table and chairs in a parlor setting. If you have to wait for a table, you can look around at the flea market goodies. The food is mostly all made there, especially the cakes. You may want to order your cake before you order your lunch. The servers are always nice and knowledgeable about the food and desserts. I’ve actually seen men in here but I always wonder what heinous transgression they have committed to have to eat girl food. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not bad, it’s just really a girl place to eat. Take your girlfriends.
