Manager and employees are very friendly. Well stocked, clean and organized. Mostly shop here for sale items.

I come to this location at least once a week now that I live in the area and I’ve come to recognize the staff. Every person working there has been nothing but friendly and polite to me and my toddler when we come in to shop. Two people in particular always take the time to engage with my son and he’s come to recognize them. I also fill scripts here and the pharmacy staff has been comparable to other pharmacy staff in that they are professional and warm. It is true that they usually only have one cashier on, but there’s hardly ever a line and when there is, it moves fast and/or they will call another cashier up. To be honest though, it’s a small location, so I think one cashier is enough. While the outside and parking lot could use some sprucing up, the staff working there more than make up for the ugly exterior. While this location is not 24/7, one would just have to walk a little farther up to Rite Aid which is 24⁄7. Bottom line, they will continue to get my business.

The only good thing about this location is the private parking lot. The pharmacy staff is extremely rude and not helpful at all. I brought in a prescription and the pharmacy did not have the medication in stock. They said that they can’t order it and that I would have to go to another pharmacy. My father is a pharmacist and he told me that the only reason a pharmacist would say that to you is if they don’t want your business. I immediately went to the Rite Aid on 101st Avenue and not only did they have the medication, it was filled and given to me in about 10 minutes. Thanks for nothing, Duane Reade.

This location has a long history of numerous past businesses. Having live in this area for the longest time I am no stranger to what this retail space past life was: a supermarket, Dan’s; a party store, Party Giant; a pharamacy, Rite Aid; and now Duane Reade. This location always has a good size parking lot regardless of what business occupied this retail space. There is always insufficient cashiers and low stock on a good selection of vitamin water. Unlike other Duane Reade pharamacy stores, this location is NOT24⁄7 hours of operation which patrons who work night shifts like myself cannot access should there be an emergency.
