Rite Aid

This place is a standard drug-​store. They provide anything you might need here — medications, soap, shampoo, lotion, and foodstuffs etc. The lines are never long, the staff is helpful, the prices are the same as anywhere else. and the place is clean and welcoming. The store is located near the train, which makes it accessible.

Their bathroom is not open, when any pharmacy is supposed to have its bathroom accessible to customers, as per board of health guidelines. But I think someone must have come in, stunk it out, making a mess, and no one wanted to clean it. And now we’re all paying the price. But if the employees are using it, they’re cleaning it anyway, aren’t they? The one on Cross Bay has a bathroom for customers, which is not the cleanest. But if the employees are using the bathroom as well, they should clean it. I am a former employee of the store in Ridgewood light years ago, and we had to let customers use it. The manager told us it was because due to the board of health guidelines we had to let them use it. Anyone establishment selling food or drugs (legally :) is supposed to have a bathroom for its customers. Why should they be any different?

Cons
There is enough staff but they are never all at the register when you need them.
Overall this is a cool Rite Aid location that is convenient for me.

This Rite Aid sits on Rockaway Boulevard, which is easily accessible on the A Train line at the spit point of Lefferts Boulevard and Far Rockaway.
Aisles are spacious for ample room and organized with stock. Merchandise is not well catergorized as I was roaming with my desultory search for AA batteries only to find it unmarked at the front of the store… ayia! There are not many brand names for food and snack items as there is no Jello chocolate pudding. This Rite Aid, however, does carry Entennman’s baked goodies.
A loyality rewards program is available without membership fees from Rite Aid that is open to clients.
