Love that it’s close by, clean and well kept park. The kids can’t wait for the summer sprinklers to turn on. The park has cute froggy ones.

Recently restored playground for locals to gather as a community for play or rest where gamblers can intake their newly losses from Resorts World Casino at nearby Aqueduct Racino. Lefferts Playground is a peaceful resting place. It is a long, linear park detailed in the Art Nouveau style of design of benches, game tables, a reconstructed basketball court, and decorative street lamps. There are plenty of benches and natural grass and trees. By the entrance a pink lotus leaf compass points North embedded on the ground. This park sits adjacent to the Belt Parkway. A small September 11, 2001 memorial wall plaque is displayed on the natural field. Quaint amid, in stillness without children park patrons, where the wind and highway traffic sound can only be heard. Clean and a good space where one can detox from life’s daily stresses of the daily grind.
