This place is dingy and smells absolutely horrid. As soon as you enter, you pretty much know that cleanliness is completely nonexistent. If that’s something you’re willing to risk for a whole bunch of cheap clothes, as I did, then be my guest. You just might find some treasures that are pretty great. After they’ve been washed, of course. It would get 4 stars if it wasn’t so smelly, but as it were, it’s A-Ok. I got here about 30 minutes to close, and eyed a few things without much interest. Until I noticed that there were 3 different colors, all with varying percentages off. There was 75%, 50%, and 25%. I believe it was clear, red, and green when I went. And lucky for me, the only things that interested me were those colors. I found 2 cardigans and a seriously freaking adorable vintage knee-length full skirt dress that fit me oh so perfectly. All for under $ 5. So I’d say that was a success, and worth the smell.

Overpriced. Religious music booms throughout the store constantly, and shopping is not a pleasant experience. Labor Board, IRS should dig through associated companies owned by same group & profiting via not for profit tax status. The hands these people are helping most are their own.

Dingy, dusty, musty, dark, and they pipe in creepy religious music that’s played loud enough to be distracting. As local thrift stores go, this is one step above that crappy one on Stewart Street. The book selection is slim, although I did get a like-new hardcover for $ 1…I found exactly one book that I would read and I have a broad interest in many topics. The employee was nice, though. [Yes, yes, I understand that the store is operated by a religious charity. I don’t care. That music is creepy. Turn some lights on, turn the muzak down, and get some better books.]
