I would go anywhere else than Walgreens. Many reasons but they do not live up to their slogan and what company would fire the great grandson of their founder

Bad pharmacy service. Put me on hold forever, when someone else picked up the phone after 13mins, she claimed she didn’t know I was on hold and she claimed there was just her and the other person working in the pharmacy, neither of them answered my call at first and put me on hold. Well, That must be a ghost then!!!

With a child that has a double ear infection. Dr transmitted the prescription to Walgreens. Got there and the the tech informs me that they have no record of the prescription. That they could talk to the doctors office over the phone, however since this was an after hours appt. there was no way to get the doctors office on the phone. So I drove back up to the Dr office.
The confirmed they transmitted it and gave me a paper copy of the prescription. I called the Pacifica Walgreens to confirm they had the prescription. «Oh yes, but we close in 17 minutes, you need to go to South San Francisco Walgreens…8:43»

The PHARMACY SERVICE at Walgreens sucks. They have a drive through which is always manned even when there are 10 people waiting inside the store for service. The only reason I still go there is that they are close to my house. They have a lot of cheek to close for lunch! Don’t try to get a vaccination there, they usher you to Westborough, I guess not enough profit for them. The general store service would get them 5-​Stars!

When calling Palmetto Walgreen’s to request prescription refills, it is a must to follow thru the next day. When there is a multi-​day delay (80% of the time), I call the doctor’s office only to find that Walgreens has actually NOT submitted the «fax request.» But, on the bright side, I am still thrilled to have a modern
retail/​pharmacy in Pacifica.

The pharmacy here is making my Dr. and I jump thru hoops. I am changing to my online pharmacy.

It really should be called «Card Shop with Drive-​Thru Pharmacy» but I guess «Walgreens» is easier to remember.
I popped in during my fruitless search for the latest issue of Better Homes & Garden only to not find said issue. My darling offspring quickly found a multitude of things to find fascinating and point out to me, repeatedly, none of which were the latest issue of Better Homes & Garden.
Kudos to them for sticking the toy area towards the back. I was able to see it and redirect our fascination with things before he made it that far. We would probably still be in that aisle otherwise.
TONS of greeting cards. Like, more than just one aisle of them. Good to know in case you’re in the area and need to find a card for a specific occasion. And they’re close to the front, so you can go, find what you need, and check out before your child has a chance to make it to the toy section.

I transferred all of my family’s prescriptions here after dealing with some very unprofessional BS from Pacifica’s Rite Aid. This Walgreen’s pharmacy is very professional. I’ve never had to deal with any attitude from the pharmacists or pharmacist assistants/​cashiers. They have always been professional and respectful. Only once was my prescription not ready when I ordered it, and I had to wait ½ hr.
I love the drive-​through. With a young child and a herniated back a drive through is a gift from the Gods and a pharmacy team that doesn’t make inappropriate jokes about the medications I’m picking up makes this place practically priceless.
Thank you, Palmetto pharmacy folks! You make my life easier! And that means a lot.

Although the website now allows you to order a cd with up to 500 photos on it when checking out it charges an additional charge for each cd. We have nearly 850 photos which required 2 separate orders and instead of 6.99 per cd they were now $ 34.00. I can’t believe the website is so bad as you have to create different orders for each cd order over 500 photos. This store assured us they could burn the cds. We went to the store and they said they could not burn CD’s.

Not much in stock but the store is clean. FYI — if they call you and tell you that your prescription is ready your prescription is probably not ready and you should probably double check before coming in.

Very bad service, more then 4 people at the photo department and no one is trying to help us customers, but after a few minutes I went to ask the sales clerk Reece that people are waiting at photo department and hoe very rude she snaps back i will be when i can, still after 10 minutes still no one to help, so I said were waiting and when she finally come over she was so unprofessional and very snotty attitude really if that’s the type of people you have working for you I will not come back

The photo center is great and with Emily’s help it makes it awesome. She helped me get connected to print my photos and had them ready for me super quick. Thank you

Worked for me. Decent Walgreens. Got what I needed and the staff was friendly.

So my friend just had surgery and her pain is so bad that she goes through her medicine very fast. She had a really bad fall and just got out of surgery and the medicine she got before surgery was supposed to last longer but it didn’t. She tried getting more from this pharmacy but they seem to think that since she went through them so fast that she is now flagged as a pill drug dealer! She is in so much pain that she cries! She can’t sleep much due to the PAIN! She wouldn’t deal pills! THANKS WALGREENS for NOT helping my friend! NEVER going to do business with you again! YOU CAN GO KICK ROCKS! I hope someone you know has to go through this same pain and you will see what my friend is going through!

ASSOC. «REESE» SHOULD BE FIRED. Went here with my mother today to buy a pack of ciggarettes. When she put her number in she said out loud, «oh I didn’t need to do that, there’s no points.» Then REESE snarked, «yea we don’t give points for cancer.» you can imagine what happened after. I’m just truly disgusted with the statement she had. There is a time for your personal feelings and views, work isn’t one of them.

This has by far, been one of the worst pharmacy’s I’ve had to use! I say had to use because it’s the closest pharmacy to my house and it has a convenient drive thru! :) My problem is that they sometimes have these floater pharmacists and when they bring those floaters in they seem to not know or understand what they are doing! First of all, one of the floaters was supposed to call me if there was any problems with my prescription and when there was a problem with my insurance and the coverage of the medication they never even called me to tell me that the medication wasn’t covered. NO, they just put it back on the shelf and I guess decided to just wait to see if I would eventually ask about it. When I did ask about it they never even apologized! Then they said they would contact my doctor to have him change the prescription, butt after not hearing from them for a week, I go over there and I’m told that it hasn’t been done yet! Really? So now I’ve waited for over a week and a half and still no medication! I have had nothing butt problems with the floaters at Walgreens pharmacy. So If you really need that prescription and need it fast then don’t take it here! This is the worst Walgreens pharmacy I’ve been to! :(They are terrible at call backs & following up with their patients. For that I give them one star.

I absolutely LOVE their pharmacy staff – always calling to leave punctual and urgent messages, to ensure I was communicated properly with pick-​up and pricing. They’ve even called to follow-​up on one of my medications – Who Does That… Pacifica Walgreens DOES!
Thank you for setting yourselves apart from all the other retail pharmacies!

I’m not allowed to go in here by myself anymore. There is so much stuff packed into this store, I never want to leave. Pacifica t-​shirts? Check. Wall of sunscreen? Check. Organic veggie snacks and Amy’s frozen dinners? Check. Sections at the back of the store full of discounted items that will entrance and send you into a time warp making friends and family send out search parties? That too. :-)

This walgreens has the worst service. There never seems to be anyone at the counter, or not enough people at the counter. I have been there numerous times and have had to wait with one or two other people in line and no other employee opens up a register, I don’t mind waiting but waiting for a long time sucks.

I love walking into this place compared to the Linda Mar Rite Aid. It feels so much more well organized. Maybe they considered Feng Shui when designing the layout. Even if I can’t find something, staff is more than happy to help me out.
The freezer/​cooler section has an ample supply of TV dinners, drinks and ice cream/​other frozen novelties.
When I checked out recently, I noticed that a discount was not applied. The cashier searched high and low for a coupon book to give me the discount. He finally asked the manager who was more than glad to help find it in the booklet! Thanks everybody!
