This place has really good tacos as well as costumer service. I came here with a couple of friends and we ordered tacos, burritos, and quesadillas. when we got our order one of my sloppy friends dropped the burrito in the ground; the burrito was fine since it was still in the tin foil cover. I could have still ate it, but the staff told us they would replace it right away which I thought it was nice of them. after we got our food they actually forgot to give me one of my asada tacos, I went to the window and told them and they apologized and told me they would bring it right up. when I came to pick up the taco once it was ready they even hooked me up with an extra taco for free! I thought it was realty thoughtful of them to throw an extra taco due to the small mistake in the order. Overall I really liked this place and the flavor of the meats was great!

Best tacos in town. Everytime we come to LA we have to stop regardless. I will not change them for nothing.

I am in love with their tripitas tacos! They are delicious, the also have the best nachos. The meats are always flavored to perfection. This is the spot for authentic Mexican food at affordable prices.

Growing up in Burbank, taco trucks weren’t something you would see around or hear too much about. Now that I have moved closer to the San Fernando Valley, there’s one parked in ever corner. El Patron has the most flavorful carne asada tacos I have tried. They offer 4 different kinds of salsas and the usual(cilantro, onion, lemon). Unlike most taco trucks, the meat doesn’t taste like it’s been boiled or over-cooked. You won’t get cartilage or excessive fat between your teeth. El patron has become my late night comfort food.

I went in with low expectations, and to my surprise the tacos de asada were really good. I definitely will be going back.

I have only tried this place once, and its not bad. I had the pastor tacos, which were okay. I think it wasn’t legit pastor, or it was the bottom of the batch. Either way it was a nice late night treat and reminded me of mexico!

Ahh… after being in NorCal for almost half a year, *this* is how I want to be welcomed back to SoCal. So this taco cart/van is actually on the street in front of the Superior Super Warehouse supermercado. If you’re passing through this area(tho it’s a bit of a gritty area), it’s worth stopping for! You can’t miss it… it’s actually pretty pimped out with neon signs. We found ourselves standing in a long line at about 9 p.m. on a Friday night in front of a taco roach coach as the only non-Mexican people.(I knew the food had to be good because of the constant number of people coming…& so late at night too!) There were a few folding chairs and some people ate right there but most seemed to bring their food home. The cart features a table with a help-yourself bins of cilantro, pico de gallo, radishes, salsa, limes etc. We ate the carne asada tacos and pastor tacos and they were super deliciosos! The tacos unexpectedly came with a round tortilla chip with a dollop of warm re-fried beans. Perfect for just picking up with your fingers and eating along with your tacos! Of all the taco roach coaches I’ve eaten at, this is so far the best! Even the salsa was perfect… just the right balance of flavor & spiciness. The tacos were so good that we wanted to get more but were reluctant to wait in the long line just get one more each. You can walk across the parking lot and get a drink at the supermarket to wash down your food.(The pan dulces and desserts inside were only so-so.) The cart also sells tortas, burritos, and other goodies.
