This establishment has by far the worst customer service. It was 10 min till closing. I stop by to buy a burrito and some shrimp tacos thru drive through. I placed my order and drove up to the window and my order was wrong. The person who took my order was in the background yelling no that’s what you order your wrong. So I asked the lady to please correct my order. By then the background lady shows up yelling profanities words while my kids were in the background listed to her nonsense while we waited my credit card and corrective action. None the less nothing was done and as I drove out of the drive thru Alexandra the order take was still rudely yelling profanity words. I told her before I left that this will be report and she said I don’t F an Care. Never again will I purchase any food from this location.

Usually I love El Pollo Loco and especially the Double Avocado Salad but yesterday I was super disappointed. I went by for my lunch break excited to eat this delicious salad which advertises DOUBLE avocado. I ordered to go because I had a meting to get back to. To my utter dissatisfaction, when I sat down in my meeting and opened my salad I found NOAVOCADO. Additionally the salad looked like it was tossed around, the lettuce was soggy and not fresh, the chicken was shredded(which usually for this salad is not), and overall not tasty. ANDTHEREWASNOAVOCADO. I mentioned that I usually love this salad and I’ll even give the benefit of the doubt and say that it might have been this particular day was super busy or a new employee made my salad, however it is unacceptable to advertise DOUBLEAVOCADO and receive ZEROAVOCADO. I purposely chose this item for the avocado and I hope this is improved.

I will now drive out of my way to come to this location, even though the Truman store is closest. Yesterday I went in around 6:30PM. There was a long line in the drive through and handful of people in line inside, although it was moving quickly. Nevertheless, I got my order of a full chicken and tostada in *drumroll* FOURMINUTES! This is how fast food should be, compared to the TWENTY-SIX minutes it took once at the Truman location. Furthermore, the workers were extremely friendly and looked happy to be interacting with customers. I never have timed my previous visits there, but I always remember being treated kindly by the crew. Finally, the food is good! Salsa bar was nice and fresh. No complaints.

Before, my only complaint about this place was their long lines. The drive thru wait along with the wait inside are always long. Despite this, I continued to eat at this location because it’s a few minutes from home. After my visit today, I surely won’t be going back. When I went to order, I ordered 2 chicken avocado wraps. As soon as I reviewed my receipt, I noticed that I got charged for a combo when I only wanted the wrap itself. I then waited with another cashier to give me a refund. She was trying to proceed with my refund which she said would be going back to my debit card but she needed a manager approval. She walks away and comes back only to tell me that she would have to give me cash instead because her manager«didn’t want to do it». Those were her exact words. I am not mad because I got cash but you know a business is poorly ran when the manager doesn’t want to deal with customer issues. After getting my refund I check my receipt a second time, and I noticed I only got charged 1 wrap instead of 2. At this point I was already upset and did not want to wait for another order. Another thing I found funny was that the cashier who originally charged me for the combo said«oh you didn’t want the combo? Is that why you didn’t take a cup?» Like NO! I didn’t take a cup because I didn’t ask for a combo. And yet knowing he had charged me for a combo didn’t even bother giving the drink he had charged me for! This was definitely enough for me to not want to return.

Cashier prioritized personal chit chat over serving the long line of customers that had piled up. Kitchen and salsa bar are dirty and gross. Long black hair in my lemons. totally yucky! This location definitely tarnishes the brand. Please clean up this restaurant!

Disgusting! 1st of all I have been here 2x since moving up the street & both times I was disappointed. They always screw up your order & they are rude. They talk over you when you are ordering & they are always out of something. and the salsa bar… gross! the salsa was not fresh, I mean it had been there long enough to turn rancid. it was bubbling. I am posting pics! and when you try to call the # for management there is no answer. Beware to eat there or worse yet feed your kids there.

I was truly surprised by this Pollo Loco! Came in today with my kids and bf and the service was great, the food was delish and hot, and best of all, they have horchata! #winning…the restaurant is clean and maintained, I love the salsa bar, you get many options. Overall it’s close to home and I had a great experience, will be coming here more often! Keep it up Pollo Loco!

I would give this location 1 star but the chicken on my salad was pretty good so that brings me to 2 stars. I’ve been to this pollo loco multiple times I feel like you have to wing it. Sometimes my salad is delicious but sometimes like today, my cilantro dressing tasted like pure mayonnaise. I hate mayo. I was forced to dispose of my salad due to the fact that it made me gag. This was the last time I will order from this location.

I like Pollo Loco’s food, but like everybody else I don’t like to get home and find out I am missing something I ordered and this happen not only once but twice at this location when I ordered the same thing(creature of habit). The worst part is that the second time it happen it was a «Manager» bagging my order. Shouldn’t they be more trained than the regular Joe working the floor? Sure I didn’t die for not getting my order correct but I sure felt like killing someone for. mot doing their job the way they were supposed to and are getting paid to do.

Cmon guys. I use to work at this one. First, dude in front of me in drive thru had to make an extra order and delayed the line 7 minutes. You guys are trying to be track stars and finish under 2. If they have an extra order, make them pull over in the parking lot and go take them their food. Stop being lazy to walk out the store. Second, I ordered the shrimp avocado burrito, you know, the one with the shrimp in it? You got everything in there, but shrimp. Now I got just cabage and chicken. And you didn’t even follow the script and offer salsa. Sloppy.

QUALITYALERT… I got home from the drive thru with my Tostada salad only to find a giant LIVEHOUSEFLY trapped inside the container with my Chicken Salad! Sadly, as a result I no longer trust this restruaunt with my hunger and I no longer give them my business. It was disgusting to think that Fly was walking all over my salad for 15 minutes or so before I discovered it. I threw it away in disgust and took the loss. Too embarassed to complain in person.

I was here Friday night threw the drive thru and this place suck the staff was horrible. They where rushing us. And the I ordered a quesadilla, they forgot to give it to me, they I finally went back got it and got him with a «quesadilla» with NO chesse who does that???

Unless you want like 10 – 12 small roaches or there dropping in Ur horchata I recommend u dont come into this filthy location before they do some major cleaning. I looked at all the pics posted on here and none of them came close at all to what I personally saw. The salsa bar looked like a war zone. There were small roaches in the salsa bar as well. The soft drink area was also a mess. I notified the management all she did was go take a look and refund me my money. She wdidn’t send anyone to clean the area or close it down. i did end up notifying two2 unsuspected costumers before they filled there cups.

I come to this el pollo loco location about 3 times a week to get their avocado salad and I can tell you that 50% of the time the worker forgets to give me the green salsa sauce when I ask for it 3 – 4 times every time. I even went today and they forgot the sauce again, it’s unbelievable how irresponsible the workers are.

The chicken is always good. They always come up with different meals and keep there prices relatively low. I like this location cause it has a big parking lot and a drive thru. The staff is almost always friendly. It’s almost always busy here no matter what time you come in.

Five stars for superb service. Every time I come here, the employees are always kind and never give attitude. As far as food goes, never had a problem with it. This particular El Pollo Loco is one to visit if you crave that crazy chicken. Also, they keep it really clean looking, they don’t always refill the salsa bar when they run out of it(same with the iced teas), but when you address it to them, they will be on it asap. It’s located in an awkward spot down Laurel Canyon across the street from Superior. You can’t miss it.
