Denny’s

Worst dennys ever. I can’t believe the customer service here. Lack of knowledge from the waiter/​waitresses of menu that hardly changes… Always some excuse for not bringing something to our table within reasonable time. They weren’t even busy. Half of the time our waitress was just standing there. Oh and no napkins or silverware until the second time we had asked for it. Very unhappy with our families experience here.

Don’t come in tonight, rude waitress & they are not communicating with each other to get orders, no tip for our waitress tonight… Avoid at all cost to night, not worth it.

We ordered a quesadilla and a burger with coffee
Waited for an hour for just the coffee.
The food was brought to our table after an hour and fifteen minutes of ordering it.
The server wasn’t even sorry for bringing in the food late.
The table next to ours got coffee and their food within just 15 mins of ordering.
And I don’t think a quesadilla and burger takes more than 15 mins.
It wasn’t even busy.

Avoid if you are running low on time.

Most of the staff is great. The wait time always seems long, the Manger is very nice.

The menu here is super limited. If you can get past that the food is still terrible. The burgers are dry, well done, and have no seasonings. The chicken strips are all breading and no chicken. The only thing I’ve managed to somewhat enjoy here is the fish and chips, minus the bland, soggy chips. I’m speaking for four experiences here. This wasn’t just a one time flop.

We stopped in here for dinner and immediately felt that we were a bother to the staff we were never acknowledged by the waitress. A group came in after us that we’re locals and they were immediately served and taken care of. We were stared at by the staff and other customers. The manager finally realised that we had not been helped and tried to apologise but a little to late. If your local you’ll be taken care if not don’t bother with this crap restaurant

The service here is deplorable. Just tonight we came in and waited over 45 minutes without even being acknowledged and finally left after we saw another group seated right next to us have their drinks served and food orders taken as soon as they sat down. We were flat out ignored and this isn’t the first time this has happened. Complete garbage of a restaurant and we are never coming back again. Ever.

Long wait for service, when I tried to get there attention they look the other way. Got my meal chicken soup was like broth no chicken, my burger was so greasy my bread was soaked. Would not recommend this place.

Every ten years we go and try Denny’s again, hoping it will change for the better, but nope, not this time either. We went to the one in Pahrump, Nevada and it was nice and clean, and the people were nice. But as always, no matter which Denny’s we go to, it isn’t like it was in the 70’s. Back then it was a better restaurant, but the last twenty years, the food at Denny’s taste like frozen food, just heated up… especially the hamburgers. How do you screw up a hamburger, easy… just fry up a frozen old meat patty, that has that weird artificial taste. And then they charge you $ 7.00 or $ 8.00 bucks for that frozen, tasteless patty… sorry but if you want folks to like your food, make it with fresh ingredients… especially in the meat department… maybe we’ll try it again, in another ten years.

Been here several times… It’s Denny’s. The staff are great and hot food is hot and cold food is cold! They really need a kids section! It’s always clean and organized… Did I say they really needed a kids section!!! But the one thing, it’s always really cold! Someone needs to bump up the a/​c a few degrees and the reason for the 3 stars! I initially gave 3 stars but our waitress Justina was so good, it made up for some!!! Thanks

I definitely recommend the bourbon burger if you like a tastey burger or the prime rib philly. For children they have a great little kid menu. Every time I went they seemed a little under staffed and my server was running around answering calls, seating people, and delivering food to tables and making sure everyone was satisfied. If I remember her name correctly it was Allie and I do recommend sitting in her area because even though she was super busy she never showed it. Such a sweet and kind personality.

I give their wheat pancakes with scrambled eggs and coffee all five stars. Everyone has a favorite dish at Denny’s. Just pick yours and come here any hour of the day! This is like our local diner. Open all day for all. I don’t mind coming here every now and then to order my five star meal :)

Fast service and very nice girl was her fourth day. But she was on top of things. Very good service today

I have recently gave this establishment a visit during the lunch hour, here is my review of my visit. It took some time to get seated upon our entry which was about 5 minutes or so. After being seated we placed our order on drinks in which I ordered a coke and the other 3 people in my party ordered Ice Tea with no lemon. They brought the drinks back 3 Ice Teas with lemon and my coke was flat, I then had it sent back anf exchanged for some Dr Pepper which was so much better then the flat coke I ordered originally. After placing our food order we had to wait 15 minutes or more to finally receive our order but the food wasn’t bad at all and it was all really good it was just the service that wasn’t all that great to jump about other then that it was awesome!

This may be the best Denny’s on the planet. The place is clean and new looking, the servers friendly and attentive, the food good. I avoid most Denny’s (especially in California!) but this one… you’ll like.

In the last few weeks, Dennys has become my favorite late night meal spot. The diner is usually pretty clean, and food has tasted better than ever. I am definitely a fan now. The service is awful some nights though but it doesn’t take away from the delicious food or from feeling comfortable while eating. I will keep going back as long the food tastes good.
My favorite menu item has to be the Bourbon Chicken Skillet while my husband usually enjoys the double cheese burger for anyone wonder what to order.

Back two weeks later. They had an avocado special of some sorts going on.
I’m not sure if I was just starving to death or if my avocado BLT was really good, but I devoured it.
I would definitely order this again.

I’m usually compelled to write a review if I encounter atrocious food and/​or service. Past experiences with several Denny’s locations in California have been less than stellar, and for this reason I was reluctant to try the Pahrump Denny’s.
My wife and I went there for lunch, and were very pleasantly surprised. The food was much better than expected, and our server Brandi was extremely attentive, friendly, and seemed to be on top of everything.
I’m happy to have found another keeper, and am kicking myself in the butt for not going there sooner.

Just your typical good diner eats. What makes it 5 star is the service from the local waitress, Brandi. She usually works on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. She is such a sweetheart and goes beyond her job with a big smile.
