I’ve had a couple of pretty good dinners here but I just had brunch and it was outstanding. House made bacon and sausage were the bomb. Buttermilk biscuit and English muffin were wonderful, perfectly cooked eggs, delicious coffee. This place is great!

This is probably one of the best dinners I have ever had! Had the mixed greens salad and the dressing was amazing, could have made a meal just of salad and homemade bread! Had local fish for the entrée and my husband had short ribs. The preparation of both was nothing short of fantastic. Wish we had this kind of restaurant in Gig Harbor! Will definitely come back for a fabulous taste treat next trip to Maui! The service was also excellent and enjoyed the ambience of restaurant. Thank you for an outstanding dinner!

We enjoyed our lunch, got some burgers that were tasty and fresh. Love supporting local and the farm to table idea. Not sure if it was just who was cooking that day but the burgers were very peppery. I like pepper so was ok with it, but my husband wasn’t a big fan. We also ordered a kids pasta and side of veggies. Both came with a lot of pepper also, which I find strange for a kids meal. A shake or two is fine, but we had to dip the noodles in water or it was too spicy for our 2 year old. Same with the kids veggies. Seemed odd to me to use so much pepper for a kids meal? Love the healthier options for the kids though! We’ll be back for sure.

I originally booked this for Brunch had the veggie eggs Benedict with a mimosa. Both delicious so decided to try their dinner menu. I highly recommend the fettuccine bolognaiss, it literally melts in your mouth and the fresh ingredients used in all their dishes are locally grown. The papaya margarita was very refreshing and to end dinner the chocolate mousse. This restaurant is small and if you go ask for David, he was our server and remembered us on both visits which were a week apart. Heather E Travel consultant Canada

Paia is a quaint town, about an hour from Lahaina, in Maui. It’s a surfer, beach style, artsy community. We’ve been here three times now on two separate trips to Hawaii. There are a couple of well-known restaurants in Paia that we’ve tried and decided today to have lunch at Hana Ranch Provisions. Considering they were only serving brunch, the lunch menu was quite limited. Reviews gave cudos to the burger, so three of us had that — great burger! The wife had the Tuna Melt, and it looked and tasted great according to her! Our four-year-old had the Grilled Cheese and loved it! All the way around, the food was well presented and tasted great. Keep in mind that everything is ORGANIC! No GMO in this place! Service: Our server, Alanna, was excellent! One of the most personable and professional servers I’ve come across — which is unusual in such a causal environment of the islands. EXAMPLE: They had avocados as a side, so I decided to order one and told Alanna how I wanted it cut with olive oil and balsamic. She came back when the kitchen told her that the avocados were very soft and not good for what I wanted-she actually brought out a sample to show me. That’s going above and beyond. Service like this is expected at a five star restaurant but in many cases don’t get it. Great job Alanna!!!

Nice Restaurant but takes it self a little too seriously. Very Clean Simple interior lots dark brown hard woods and hard edges. I felt my server had the same hard edges that the tables and chairs had. He was sold but a bit cold he knew his mission but we are guests not a hill to be conquered. The Carrot Watercress Salad was the highlight of the evening the potato pasta had good flavors and was fresh. I shared the burger(most tables ordered the burgers) with my date and it was a good wet mess of a burger tasty but not really cooked the order. There was a desert menu and it was ok but nothing seem all that complying. The Hostess did a great job seating us and checking on us at the table and thanking us for our business. If I was the Manager/Owner I would watch how this young woman works and encourage some out more senior wait staff incorporate some of the Aloha she extrudes it would soften some of the hard edges of the ranch’s presentation.

I loved the vibe and concept of this restaurant! It is very nice when you walk in with clean lines, and a well thought out layout. I love the idea of the farm to table concept, and how the menu utilizes what is growing at Hana Ranch. Service was great. I ate here on several occasions, and though it is hard to decide what is my favorite, I absolutely recommend the house pickles. Expect to be blown away. I ordered the parpardelle pasta and absolutely LOVED it. It is so fresh and such a nice blend of flavors. I ordered this with the fresh bread and it was delicious. Other party members ordered other options– the curry, gnocchi, avocado burger, Hana burger, and all were fresh, and I didn’t hear any complaints! Thank you Hana Ranch Provisions for a wonderful experience and amazingly delicious food! I can’t wait to visit next time I am in Paia!

Had dinner at the bar here on a Thursday night– the place is simplistic and modern and has done a nice job decorating, but I don’t know how to describe it something is just lacking there. The bartender was professional but cold. We ordered the house made bread to start and it was not worth the added money or carbs. Save your bread consumption for Café De Amis which is really fresh– warm and delicious. For dinner hubs got the tuna and enjoyed it– I got the burger and it was tasty enough, but the surroundings were just so blah it felt a little stale and tired in there. No one really seemed to be enjoying themselves or something? Can’t quite put my finger on it. Nice setting, albeit a weird vibe, solid food but nothing to write home about– many other delicious spots in Paia to explore and skip this one…

I almost gave these guys three stars because of the price. The service was ok, a little loud(past tenants have had the same problem), food selection was good but $ 39 for a fish entrée. Come on… I hope they adjust these soon. Also I know industry people get comped and better service but when it’s blatantly obvious that the table next to you it getting better service it cheapens the experience. I wish staff would be considered and treat every customer the same. I’ll come back for lunch or would like to try the parpardelle and tomato salad. Those looked good. Icebox cake was phenomenal.

We came here after our helicopter tour and so glad we did. The grilled eggplant banh mi and avocado burger was sooo fresh and delicious. It was probably the best grass fed burger we ever had. The customers next to us were all ordering the burger. I love the fact that everything is farm to table, the cow and vegetables that they serve.

Aloha! From farm to table! This is the short explanation what is going on in this restaurant and it’s working great! We made a reservation few days before visit and we were super exited. Our waiter was Kristopher. He was very Nice and an experienced waiter. He is new there and definitely fits there. I had burger, because I heard it is good. It’s not, rather It’s excellent! Really amazing! Temperature as I ordered, juicy, perfectly seasoned, smelled«meaty» and the best thing is … they serve burger with salad! Finally I didn’t need to ask to change fries for salad. Bun was also little bit special. Was made with ulu(breadfruit). I love breadfruit and there are not many restaurants serving ulu, so I was happy to see it on menu. One more important thing. Finely we are whitnessing new style of restaurants in the last 5 years. Previously there were popular restaurants/shacks with funky ambience. I’m very happy this is changing into organic, farm, modern, CLEAN, educational, life style inspirational, fresh«ALOHA» looking restaurants. And this is one of them! Good job guys, keep surfing on trend wave and keep your life organic! I would DEFINITELY stop by!!! Mahalo for reading this!

Definitely the bourgie-est place to eat in Paia, so if you like fancy farm fresh food like you’d find back home in the big city, Hana Ranch is it. The décor is sleek, the food comes in dainty portions, and the servers have their act polished. I don’t get the impression that this is where the locals eat… seems more like a place for high rolling tourists to show off by ordering expensive bottles of wine to pair with their crudités. Their farm-to-plate concept is pretty legit, though. Hana Ranch is… an actual ranch. In Hana. So, pretty much everything on the menu is sourced from there, meats, veggies, dairy, etc. Whereas most farm-themed restaurants just outsource to various farmers, Hana Ranch keeps it all under one roof. So, that’s something. While our food was expensive for the portions, it was all expertly prepared and noticeably fresh. I was initially saddened when my sweet potato gnocchi entrée showed up as a few tiny morsels in a bit of brown butter, but the flavors & texture were worth savoring slowly. The Hana Ranch burger, fresh from the ranch, was gloriously medium rare. It’s all about expectations, right? If you come prepared to drop some dough and experience Mauian farm cuisine amongst a yippie(yuppie-hippie) clientele, you’ll be pleased. If you come pinching pennies and order with budget in mind, you’ll probably leave hangry.

What was good was excellent. Like 5 stars excellent. Let me just start by saying that. Get the pickles. Repeat: GETTHEPICKLES. The app of fried yucca tots with mojo aioli and cotija cheese were outstanding. At $ 12 not cheap, but so delicious that I say worth it. In terms of entrees: –pan seared catch of the day was perfect. The broth was a revelation. Tbh I wanted to bathe in it but instead we soaked some crusts in it after finishing the fish. –ribeye… Was tough. At $ 38 or $ 48 for 7 oz of meat this should not happen. Minus a star for that. However, the staff were really sweet and took this item off our bill. –sweet potato gnocchi. Scrumptious but NOTANENTREE! My dish arrived and it was one of those moments where your heart sinks cuz you know you’ll still be hungry when you finish. I overheard a server next to us warning her table that the pastas are appetizer sized. I really needed full disclosure from my server about this. Desserts were lovely and the wine was good. A five star experience had it not been for the texture of the ribeye and the unanticipated size of the gnocchi. Food: 5 for flavors, 4 for execution Service: 4 Ambiance: 5

Yum Yum Yum!!! Wish I had eaten here more. The food was wonderful, the staff delightful, the wine delicious and the ambiance nice. I had a little salad with these giant shrimps that were so good and a crudite plate that was very good. At the café next door tho OMGHADTHEBESTLITTLEBISCUITBREAKFASTSANDWICHOFMYLIFE!!! REALLY! The coffee was super bomb too. If you are in Paia you HAVE to go here.

So nice we went there twice! After making our way back from Hana, we stopped in Paia to get some much needed sustenance. The banana bread bought along the road did not satisfy. Perusing Unilocal and the talk thread I instigated prior to our trip, we decided HRP will work out. It was a quiet Monday evening, and we were warmly greeted, even with my swim trunks on. Wine & beer gave way to their delicious sliced beet carpaccio, thin slices of red beets, with arugula, tomatoes and a lovely mustard vinaigrette. Our main was the Kauai shrimp arrabiata with fresh made tagliatelle. The sauce was amazing: spicy with crushed tomatoes & cheese. Dessert was the decadent Ice Box chocolate cake with raspberry coulis. Service was top notch, with excellent knowledge of the ingredients & preparation. Next time we have to visit the ranch!

We really like the fresh and delicious options this place has to offer. From the drinks to the food, everything was so good. The desserts are also a must have, so definitely leave room for that. All this goodness coupled with a hip, airy space and top notch service makes this spot a must-try if you find yourself in Paia.

The ambiance of the restaurant modern! Great location to people watch. The food was good, price was average, and service was alright. They were not very busy when we sat down for lunch, however the server messed up our order, but recovered with not charging for the fries we originally ordered. The down side is the parking, there is street parking just hard to find. We had to park up the road and walk. For the food, I would go back.

I’ve now been back to Hana Ranch Provisions several times, and I am still in love with it. I’ve been for dinner and lunch. Dinner is by far my favorite between the two meals here. Lunch has a smaller menu with sandwiches and salads. Some of the salads are available at dinner. I had the banh mi with kalbi beef. It was an excellent banh mi, but I think it is hard for a sandwich to compare to some of the meals I’ve had at night, and it’s not fair to compare the two meals. After having dinner at Hana Ranch Provisions, I’ve left feeling that I’ve had my mind and palate blown by new combinations/flavors in a meal that works so amazingly well with ingredients I wouldn’t have thought of combining. Dinner is the definite stand out of the two meals. Lunch is extremely good, but it will take a lot for a sandwich to blow my mind. Parking is still lame, but I just park in the dirt lot by the post office.

Shockingly this place was almost empty when we stumbled in for lunch, begging for respite from the heat and seeking a beverage to sooth our palates. The restaurant is bright and refreshing, with pictures from the farm where they source many of their ingredients decorating the walls. We were quickly seated at a table, whereupon we ordered beverages as quickly as the waitress could remember them. The hands-down, all out winner were the Moscow Mules and this is solely because of the house-made Ginger beer. It was phenomenal. I wish they would bottle it so that I can continue to enjoy it every day. Or just hook up an IV and I’ll be the happiest camper of them all. The food was all great — our group got a mix of salads and sandwiches(which is the main fare here). There were no complaints heard around the table. In fact, once the food was served, nothing was heard except groans of satisfaction. We were fed and watered(or, in my case, beveraged) to our complete satisfaction. Delish.
