Nuage Bleu

So every time we go to Paia, we make it a point to go to Nuage Bleu. I love this store, from the gorgeous jewelry, pretty selection of resort wear clothing, to the baby and kids section in back; I always find something I want here. This last time was no exception. From entering the store we are always warmly greeted and told to ask if we have any questions. I am always drawn to the jewelry case first and foremost, and love seeing their selection of local jewelry. Let me say, this store is high end and most definitely more on the expensive side. Still you get what you pay for, exquisite jewelry and clothing… you just can’t go wrong. I bought a lovely rosary style necklace which I was able to wear for the rest of our vacation. I am always super happy with my purchases, and can’t wait to go back and get another piece to add to my collection.

My experience here was lovely. They carry great brands, very stylish, resort-​wear clothing, nice helpful saleswomen too. Found a gorgeous michelle Jonas dress that I couldn’t find anywhere else, even online. Was in this store twice during my stay, and they remembered me the second time i came in to buy a cute shirt for my son. Would definitely return the next time I’m on the island.

There was this super cute dress hanging in front of the door. It was $ 220. I decided to splurge and got this amazing small candle for $ 15 (big one was $ 30). I was glad to see a lot of unique items. Great if your looking for something special.

This is a fantastic little store in Paia. The shop owner is warm and welcoming, and it feels like she is shopping with you. My best friend and I got beautiful bracelets, for around $ 50 that we are calling our grown up friendship bracelets. The prices range from high to low, so really you can find anything in the price point you desire. Not only that, everything is so carefully picked out, its difficult to leave empty handed. :)

This is one of the most beautiful stores I’ve seen in many travels internationally. The fashion is exquisite. The style is very modern Hawaii.
Prices are as one might expect for high-​quality items. Maybe more than average for things that one might find elsewhere, but the quality appears worth the splurge. And many things are priced similar to other stores.

Cute little store in Paia. Hip baby and kid items in the back, as well as other odds and ends. I bought a kitschy gnome diorama that you can mail to someone.
I also bought my most favorite J Brand jeans here. Other than that the clothing is okay, some things are a little pricey and not much selection. Worth it to browse, you may find a hit.

While I was dying to go shopping for myself, I was on a mission: find the cutest baby shower gift I could in Maui. Getting gas at the station next door, I spyed the cutest pink, tulle skirt in the window, complete with fake rose petals in between the layers of tulle, pink polka dot bow sash and a glittery purple butterfly attached that would make any little girl’s heart flutter. After having worked with my pregnant friend at Nordie’s for years, I knew this would tug on her cute radar. The shop girl was super helpful with insight, as she’d bought the skirt for one of her friend’s kids recently and said that the girl loved it to pieces. And my friend was very happy. The rest of the shop was filled with cute, designer pieces and unique jewelry. If I’d had the $ 200+ dollars to buy the sparkly, raw-​cut blue quartz stone bracelet I wanted, I would have in a heart beat. Without having looked at the prices for most other pieces, I’d say that most items are a bit more pricey, like boutiques you’ll see in SF, Santa Barbara, LA or the OC. But with all the other tourist ridden places you’ll find on Maui, shopping in Paia and at boutiques like Nuage Bleu is refreshing!

This was one of my favorite little boutiques on the island! I loved this store and even went back again to purchase more gifts for friends, mom and sisters! The owner of the store designs handbags and they are quite reasonable. Alot of the clothes you can find on the mainland, but I was impressed with their accessories the most. The staff was so helpful and made my shopping experience nothing but top notch. A great find in Pa’ia!
