Not sure what all the complains are but the sushi is great here the wife and I shared the sushi burrito and albacore dynamite and it was actually really good and the service was great! Did have to wait a little for a seat but what’s 5−10min for great sushi?!

Ordered a sushi sampler and sashimi ceviche. I believe the total was $ 42. Sushi is good, but not the best, don’t expect Nobu or Sushi Nozawa. Price range is high, but expected at a casino. I had a sushi craving, so this satisfied. You can sit at the bar, or the few tables around. I was their on Mother’s Day, so I sat at one of the tables in the food court, and they brought it to me. Since I adore sushi, I would definitely stop at this restaurant again. I am not a roll person, but their is a variety. Very nice presentation.

I was in the mood to try something different and i’ve never had sushi sake before so might as well. Let me start off by saying, i’m no sushi connoisseur. I only know you should eat sushi(especially sashimi) fresh like right on the spot fresh. I’m also not a fan of sushi/sashimi(i’m a phở girl) but the chefs special sashimi platter was extremely fresh. Quality(flavor and presentation) measures up to sushi restaurants outside of the casino IMO. Expensive for just five small pieces but its reasonable. Didn’t make me have the runs either. My favorite however is the sushi burrito. If a burrito knocked up a california roll and had a baby, out pops sushi burrito. All my favorite ingredients supersized. Whats not to like. Only downfall(to me) is the price but if you eat here, i’m sure you already know and could afford it. They don’t have much of a dining area though. Only a small bar with five seats so i took everything to go. They even packed it nicely. Nothing spilled or dripped out. If you’re in the mood for sushi, give this place a try.

Love the sushi here. Our favorites are the salmon and yellow tail. Ordered the uni which was tasty but, we were shocked when we got our check and were charged 20.00 per order!!! Really 40.00 for four pieces of uni! That is wayyyy too high.

By far not the best sushi we’ve ever had. I would recommend you eat here if you want something light and you were in the middle of gambling. Overall it was lacking sauces. The sushi was good quality and the servings were large. The service was very good and fast and attentive. Spicy scallop was really good and very tender. Spicy tuna had a good enough kick for it. Crunchy roll was my wife’s favorite and mainly I think it’s because it had a sauce. The yellowtail & jalapeño was my favorite. I don’t think we ever eat here again with noodles right across the way. It was worth trying though.

Had lobster roll it was quite good. The crunch roll was OK just your average shrimp tempura roll. Over all the sushi place is good like your average sushi place but the prices are a little too high in my opinion. I Will recommend the sashimi salad. Also their selection of Sakai and beer is good.

We love this restaurant so much. I don’t remember how many times we came here. Their Sushi is definitely one of the best in Southern California. The ingredients are extremely fresh. The tastes are consistent. The executive chef Thomas told us they get the highest quality seafood from LA. And the price is really decent. I had only one negative experience. The new waitress didn’t know Japanese at all, she had a hard time to find the Sake we ordered. When she brought our Sake, we almost finished eating. It’s a little strange they don’t hire Japanese waiter although most of the chefs are Japanese. Sushi chefs are very friendly, too! I am always looking forward to coming here and talking to them.

Chef’s choice platter is awesom TONS of seafood. also the baked Volcano tons of chunks of soft shell crab and they put a nice slight burnt crust, chunky crunchy goodness. hey even the Cali roll is great, no cheap filler, solid crab leg meat. thanks Yoshi and Yoshi and Yuuki and Sonny and Steven… yup thar’s two Yoshi’s at this place. The price is fair, actually waaay better than PECHANGA Umi sushi. and overall this place we only spend about $ 50 or so, Chefs choice platter $ 30, baked Volcano is a MOUNTAINOFSEAFOOD $ 20 by this time you will be pretty darn full, but throw in a Cali roll(only like $ 6) with a side of sesame seeds and bamm. healthy done.

Very limited seating, like 10 people or less at any given time. The service was alright, I had to ask for refills a couple of times, but the sushi chefs were pros, they know what they’re doing. Super fresh seafood, a little more expensive than your average sushi joint since it’s in a casino. Careful with the MP on the menu, I was curious about the giant clam market price and he told me it was $ 20 for 2 pieces, wow. Hey, I’m not cheap but I’m no baller either, I had to pass on that one, maybe if I hit a jackpot I’ll come back and order it.

Friendly staff. Pretty good sushi considering its location. It is a little pricey but you get your values worth especially for the sashimi plate. Remember your players card as it gets you a discount.

A tiny little bar in the corner of the Pala casino food court, but well worth visiting. It’s a little exposed, but certainly not uncomfortable or awkward. One of the few places in Pala where I can say the staff is really nice. When we walked by and wanted to look at a menu, they jumped right on it, so we stayed for some sushi and drinks. Service on drinks was super quick. I like to enjoy myself at a sushi bar and having prompt drink service is a big deal. They were friendly and quick about it. Same with the sushi chef. Usually when I go to a sushi bar, I start to wonder if they forgot part of my order because they are so slow. Not an issue here. Selection of rolls is pretty basic, not a lot of selection, but if you like sushi you’ll find your usual standards. I found everything to be very fresh and properly made. I recommend the lobster roll(or roll made with lobster, not sure of the name). It had a really good amount of lobster and was very tasty. I noticed a little bit of a vinegar flavor on the rice, but other than that, no big issues. Prices are a little steep, probably towards the higher end of what most sushi places charge, but certainly within reason. I’ll come back again for sure.

Use your Pala privilege card and you automatically get 5% off. You will need any discount, because this place is pricey. However, the food is pretty good. Haven’t tried much, but i suggest the prime rib roll and salmon skin hand roll. Overall, the seafood is very fresh. Very small place, i’d say they seat 20 people max.

Amazing! Big rolls and fresh fish, what more can you ask for. The salmon was buttery and rich, and the portion was very generous. The tropical Passion roll is a must try, sweet mango sauce and spicy siracha… be still my heart!

What happens when a filipino family comes to town? CASINOS. What happens to a broke 26 year old after going to 4 or 5 of these CASINOS? She GRUBS! That’s where I found myself here at Sake Sushi as part of the Pala Casino. This was stop #1 of 3 for the day.(Mind you they had just spent the previous two days at Barona and planned to stay at each of these 3 stops for at least 2 to 3 hours each) I was spent! Nevertheless, keeping a positive attitude, what do I do to keep my little self happy? I FATTENMYSELFUP! Ordered my usual: Spicy Hamachi Handroll, shared Hamachi Sashimi with my mom, and got a Soft Shell Crab Handroll for myself. Perfect snack to hold me over until we reached Valley View for where I knew I’d find myself eating again. Cute little spot in the food court where seating is only at the sushi bar. FUNFACT: The sushi chef like to butt in your convos, join in, and make fun of you =p. Couldn’t stop laughing.

I live about 4 miles away from Pala Casino. I couldn’t get any closer unless I lived on the reservation. I’ve read reviews on this place here and I thought I’d try it anyway, even though many people said the sushi was poorly constructed; which is super annoying. So, I found that the reviews were correct. I would have given this place 4 stars because the sushi itself is very good, as well as the service, and the price is affordable. However, everything I tried here fell apart. The chefs are sloppy! It would be a lot more enjoyable if the rolls would not fall apart the second you touch them. Although, I won’t say I will never return. It’s so close to home, the chefs are very nice and at least the rolls taste good. I’m sure I’ll head up there again some time. Plus they are open late, so that’s a PLUS!

Really a 3.5 star review. It would have been a solid 4 if the hostess was there, or the sushi chef told us to sit. Mom wanted to be polite and wait till someone said something. Instead some other party comes in to swoop in on the only open seats. Ugh. I told my mom we should of just sit, but she insisted. Mr. Pushy took the 3 seats for his party of 4. Seeing that we were obviously waiting. Sigh… Rude. The chef didn’t even say anything! Hate to say it, but I think it was discrimination. =X ANYWAYS… the hostess finally came and said 30 minute wait. –_-; But good thing it only turned into a 10 minute wait. Otherwise I would have been more upset. I kept giving Mr. Pushy the stink eye because he was the only one standing up. Yeah I know you see me. Pfft. Hahaha… ok I’m done complaining. The food was really good though. Fish tasted fresh and the prices are reasonable. My only gripe was that our sushi wasn’t made by one of the chefs but the«other» guy. My tataki tuna was fine, but my caterpillar roll was kinda loose and coming apart. But the flavor was all still there. I guess that’s what really matters right? Oh and show your players card for a discount. Every little bit helps. Cheers!
