By far the cleanest, and most we’ll run Denny’s you will ever find. Kudos to management and staff. And always the food is fresh and delicious. I have been here many times and it’s always consistent.

Came here for my boyfriends birthday. Waited a long time to have our order taken. Server seemed friendly. When we got our food my boyfriends chicken Philly cheese looked so small and like it barely had meat on it. My hash browns were a bit salty. Wish they could’ve given us extra napkins. Overall food and service wasn’t bad. My only complaint is that when I went to go pay and gave the waiter(who served us) my credit card and the ticket, he looked at the ticket for a second and decided to ask me if I was gonna fill out the tip section.(Normal for them to ask) but the way he went about it seemed a bit rude. He showed the ticket to me and pointed at the tip section waiting for me to take it back and fill it out. I had already left his tip on the table. I told him that and he seemed happier. Just didn’t appreciate the way he went about it. If I want to leave a tip then I will. I shouldn’t be asked/told to leave one. Otherwise the experience wasn’t horrible.

This is really a minus one, but that’s not an option here. This place is the worst I’ve been coming here for a while it’s the only place open late but I regret it every time. The food sucks like really sucks the last two burgers I’ve gotten have been inedible I’ve gotten a credit used it then had to return that meal as well the service is shit I can’t express enough how much this place sucks. Don’t eat here plain and simple.

Extremely slow and rude service, ordered eggs at 11.50 pm and it’s 12 .40 there is no sign of them. Asked our server and he looks at me and says our kitchen is very slow. Seriously!!! Bud you are in the wrong profession if you tell your customers in the service industry that your kitchen is slow. Finally the food comes after 50 mts and my wife who is a Muslim ordered eggs and hash browns finds sausage pcs in her hash browns. This is the fifth time she found sausage in her food at this location. Their explanation is that they use the same grill for everything so it’s possible to get pork or beef in your food. How inconsiderate can u be, the African American lady at the counter makes a face when she sees the sausage and walks off, Pedro our server says if you want to speak to the manager I can call him. If the management looks into reviews which I’m sure they never do they should do something or else someone will end up taking them to court. And, if you can’t hire good service staff then don’t hire a bunch of morons to run your show. Finally, we walked out hungry and on our way to McDonald. Atleast they hire courteous and responsible people.

Worst Denny’s ever. Not enough service and don’t care about customers waiting. Customer service does not apply to this place …

It makes me sad to give a 1 star review… Should be ½ but my pie was good. I won’t waste my time or yours rattling off the misdemeanors but it was so overall disappointing and almost a joke what my friend and I observed and experienced. Come on Dennys … Don’t let us down, we NEED a late night place.

I love this place, I absolutely swear it’s one of the better locations. I’ve never ordered food and forgot about it and they never held it against me. Such nice overnight staff… I love them so, I will say they attract a weird crowd of people around 2 and 3am but it’s all good. The staff holds their own and whips up wondrous meals without all the bullshit waiting.

Worst experience ever they dont deserve any stars. We waited to be seated for almost 15minutes it wasnt packed or anything so we finally sat down on our own the manager was arguing with the Africa American waitress loudly and it seemed like she was the one giving orders and he walked off then the younger girl was arguing with the cooks saying someone lost her ticket and demanding her food this went on for another 20 minutes and we STILL had no waiter visit us with menus we finally got up and left so disgusted with this place and their poor customer service. Thumbs down dennys and every employees

I think this is one of the most poorest restaurant experiences that I’ve had as of lately. I was disappointed to find out that they change their value menu. A lot of items were removed or slightly tweaked. I always used to get the six dollar French toast meal. It is exactly what I want when I go out for breakfast. Some French toast, some eggs, and some hashbrowns. I need nothing more or nothing less. Well instead of having French toast they decided to switch it to a blueberry pancakes, eggs, and hash brown meal. I asked if I could just have the French toast instead of the blueberry pancakes. They said there was no substitutions allowed. I was told if I wanted to get the French toast grand slam meal which is the same exact thing except with bacon and sausage at $ 8.29 that would be the closest thing on the menu that would meet my requirements. I didn’t want bacon or sausage, so that wasn’t going to work. I saw another menu item that came with French toast and a meat selection instead of hashbrowns. I asked if I could substitute the meat for hashbrowns. This is never been a problem at any other restaurant before because meet typically cost more than hashbrowns so as a customer I am not getting as good of a value for my money. Again, I was told that they cannot substitute those two items. I ended up getting everything individually and skipped on the eggs I would usually get with my favorite old value meal. To compensate I got some raspberry pancake puppies which I had before and knew were delicious. Another thing that stunk was the service. My Buddy ordered a coffee and did not get it until just before his meal. Another buddy did not get any silverware. And one of the most aggravating things was that I did not get my pancake puppies and until everyone was through eating their meal. On a final note, and this is nothing against this particular location instead it is about Denny’s in general, all coupons have to be printed out. You cannot use them from your phone even if they were sent to your personal email and have a barcode number located directly below them. What an inconvenience. I tell you these first world problems that we have to deal with as Americans, it just isn’t fair!

I can’t believe I’m going to give Denny’s 5 stars but they earned it. Got a hankering for breakfast at 10:45pm. I haven’t been to a Denny’s in years. Driven by this one for the past 8 and have never stopped. Upon walking in, it’s been renovated with modern appointments. We were seated within seconds by our waitress, Sasha. If you go to this Denny’s ask for Sasha. She has such a pleasant and welcoming demeanor. The service was excellent and extremely attentive. The restaurant was busy and she managed to give us personal attention. The food was great. Much better than expected. And when we were done, was offered a takeout container and utensils. Definitely will head back again!

Still one of the best Denny’s I’ve ever been to. It isn’t so much the building or furnishings, but the staff and the quality of preparation they do. The Chopped Cowboy Steak item is long gone and so is the menu item for Fresh Spinach with Pico de Gallo, but you can still get that side of you ask for it. Oddly, they don’t have Cole Slaw! A Diner without it? Odd! The crowd here is a United Nations of folks. all who appreciate the friendly staff and the food they serve. Try the new salads, especially the Prime Rib Cobb, a great new item. WiFi here is usually very good and consistent.

We have been coming here for almost a year and, I have to say, this is the BEST Denny’s we’ve ever been to! Every single staff member is always kind and helpful! We keep coming back especially for the service!

The parking lot at Denny’s was crazy packed when I came here around 930pm. Apparently this is the place to be on a Saturday night in Palatine? We had to wait a little bit before we were seated which wasn’t a problem. Service was pretty quick which we appreciated because we were in a hurry to get somewhere afterwards. I ordered coffee to help me stay awake since the old age is kicking in(kinda but not really) and an apple crumble topped with ice cream for dessert. The coffee was mediocre and fairly bland, but I couldn’t complain since I really needed some caffeine. I was also pretty disappointed in the apple crumble. The apple crumb wasn’t even hot when we were served. more on the lukewarm side as if they just nuked it in the microwave for 30 seconds. The apples also tasted fake like they came out of a can. The best part of the dessert was the scoop of vanilla ice cream. Oh well, I shouldn’t expect much from Denny’s desserts.

What? We stopped going to Denny’s fifteen years ago – bad corporate policies, bad food. But today, we were desperate. With two hungry kids, we drove past four closed restaurants and Denny’s it was! Wow, how the mighty have risen. I mean everything was good. Some of it was REALLY good. The service was spotty – many goof ups – and it is a zoo in there – but the FOOD. I liked it better than Walker Brothers. Good prices.

I have to admit– I’m not the kind of person who in ANY way enjoys writing bad reviews for businesses. However my experience here was one that must be shared– so as to avoid anyone else’s day be ruined by their poor customer service. The first & last time I was there, I had stopped by there with my fiancé and his mother. Everything seemed to be going fine– we were seated and our order was taken without complaints. However, the experience started going downhill when our server came to give us our food. Was the food awful? I wouldnt know. As she began to serve it to us, she lost the balance of her tray– so I ended up wearing our breakfast! Thats right… Thats when i wished i had ordered something simpler and less messy. But my desire for delicious pancakes was my downfall. Hot syrup landed all down my shirt and skirt. Sigh. I had really wanted pancakes. Now don’t get me wrong! I TOTALLY understand that accidents happen. If that was the only thing that happened, I would not be writing this review. It was the EXTREMELY poor response of the staff and management that really took the cake! I didn’t make a big fuss, because i was trying to be considerate. It was an accident, so I tried NOT to make a scene. I discreetly got up and did the best I could to clean myself off in the ladie’s room. Meanwhile, my fiancé talked with the staff and then the manager. You cant imagine how upsetting it was to hear that the waitress blamed the spill on me(as if i LIKE wearing maple syrup). Further, they almost made us pay for the breakfast that THEY ruined. Can you imagine? Needless to say, that didn’t happen. My fiancé had to talk them into not charging us, and insisted that they pay for our dry cleaning. On top of that, when we came back to the restaurant with the dry cleaning receipt, they gave us the runaround TWICE. I lived in chicago at the time, so it was a HUGE waste of time and gas to go all the way out there just for them to refuse to reimburse us because allegedly«the manager was not there.» It wasn’t until the third time that they FINALLY carried out their word, but at least they reimbursed us, I guess. CMON, it was the LEAST they could do after sending us home frustrated and sticky. I was so disappointed that management gave us such a hard time. If you’re looking for a place with any customer service at all– this is not the place to go.

I’ve been returning to this Denny’s for years as have been pleased with the good service and consistent quality meals. Good, cheap, open. In fact, I’ve even featured this location on Overall, I’d say probably one of the best Denny’s around. The wait staff is real friendly, and except weekends I’ve never had to wait for a table. Today, needing to catch up with work email and more, I’d jumped in and found an empty, quiet section to setup shop and get a burger. I’d ordered the double cheeseburger(just uploaded, check it out) with fries and an iced tea, which was brought out right away. I’d booted up my computer, logged into company network and began getting work done. The burger arrived quickly, accompanied with condiments and was good. I was looking forward to leisurely enjoying this burger while catching up with email, and began devouring its juicy deliciousness and took a huge bite. My burger filled mouth inspired someone to approach, inquiring about the wireless network. He loudly asked«Is the wireless working OK?» — I’d pointed to my mouth(the internationally accepted visual for ‘hey I’m chewing, go away)’, and he proceeds. He not only walked up to the table, he came around to see what I was reading. Eyeballing my screen, he asks again«I want to know if WiFi is working». I muster a muffled food-filled ‘yes’ while attempting to chew a huge bite of double cheese burger. He responds«good, so it’s working OK». I respond«Yes, its fine» which is much quicker to say than«my computer has broadband with and my phone is a hot-spot access point and I don’t even need your WiFi». OMG Lemme eat. He continued to talk about the wireless«I’m just glad its working, otherwise I’d have to fix it». OK dude, I get it, you’re the manager or someone responsible technically, great. Please go away and let me eat. He continues to stand there. I uncomfortably swallow enough of this un-chewed food to explain as cordially as possible that I’d be glad to have a conversation after I could continue chewing. He responded that one-way conversations are often his favorite, while he continues attempting to read my screen. The email wasn’t that interesting. I put the burger down, as my enjoyment of it faded and reached for napkins to dry my hands and close the computer when he asked«so is everything else OK», I replied«everything’s fine» and he finally walked away. Funny how sometimes a few minutes can weirdly seem like forever: P I ended up connecting to the WiFi too — to load up Unilocal.Just kidding. I digress. Their free wireless works well and they seem to care. :P Today wasn’t the experience I’d expected. I like to chew my food. I plan to return here but this is probably the last time I bring work. I waited for WiFi dude to not be at the register, avoiding the obligatory«how was everything», which would have been great if not for his incessantly disruptive inquiries disrupting my enjoying a burger. I can’t ever overlook the awesome«business breakfasts» with Maria and team and seriously, its just about always been a real good experience here — I’d highly recommend this Denny’s and as grandpa would say, «Eggs is eggs».

Okay food in an alright ambiance. I find the food to be a bit too salty and greasy for me but the prices are decent.
