Subway

My last review had this place teetering between 2 or 3 stars because it is very mediocre and doesn’t stand out and skimps out on the veggies. Now the guy wouldn’t take my subway coupons because he didn’t want to have to enter it in and he didn’t have a scanner for it. fuck this place.

This subway is horrible and the man who works night shift is very rude and closes the store early but leaves the open sign on.
Poor business and customer service.

We stopped here because we had coupons for one free 6″ sub for every one that you purchased (cost was $ 4.50). The first thing we experienced was the man behind the countered let out a loud belch right into our faces, with not even an apology! It got worse. I have NEVER seen a fast food worker move this slow. I am not exagerating. He was listless, and gave the impression he did not want to be there, and couldn’t care less what customers thought. He never smiled or was in the least bit pleasant. Then, at the counter, he rang us up for just over $ 18.00! I told him that he must have made an error, since we had 2 coupons, and he insisted that he had already deducted the coupons. As I tried to explain to him that 2, 6″ subs should only cost about $ 9.00, and with 1 bag of chips it should come to about $ 10.00. He then told us that he had charged us fo 2 large drinks, which I hadn’t ordered but took, because he had initially said that one got a free drink with each purchased sandwich. Finally a woman came over and started over and came up with $ 14.00 total. My wife had a Raspberry tea, and she said it was so watered down, that it was virtually tasteless. Either the people at this place try to scam people by over charging them and diluting the drinks, or they are grossly incompetant. Either way, they have no business behind the counter at this or any other restaurant.

The guy working Raj, was incredibly rude. I specially asked toasted at the beginning of making my sandwich, and apparently like he didn’t hear me, when I said it again, he gave me a very dirty look and rolled his eyes. I then asked for a free sample of the soup (see pic) and he said no. I showed him the sign and he said there’s no soup on Sunday’s. I’m new to the neighborhood and will not be going back to this location — rude service and false advertisement!

This location: very clean. Located right next to the Jewel at Dundee & Hicks. It’s tucked away in the little strip-​mall attached to Jewel. The service was quick and friendly.
Overall I HATE Subway as a company — their sandwiches are WAY overpriced for what you get and they give you like 3 slices of meat. I’d much rather go to Potbelly’s or something, but every now and then my son like to get a flatbread sandwich.
We stopped here because we were in the area. If you’re going to make the unfortunate decision to eat at a subway, this one is nice and clean and friendly.
