There are two locations, a gift shop downtown and a main location in Palisade which has produce. The downtown gift shop offers a great selection of t-shirts with a local theme. One of the reasons I keep coming back is how great their packing boxes are for peaches. They have foam compartments that separate each peach and you have the choice of 1 or 2 layers. And when the large freestone peaches are available in August the boxes are great for shipping or just toting your peaches a distance. They also have a terrific crabapple jelly that is my all time favorite so make sure not buy them out. Among other offerings the chocolate dipped dried fruit is excellent — try apricots with dark chocolate. Just a note about service here … I wanted to buy early peaches and drive them home to MN. Alida(?) didn’t want to sell them to me as they are a softer, riper variety and do not travel well. The concern was for the customer and not the profit which is rare.

I have had negative experiences with Alidas personnel. When I attempted to express those concerns to them on their Facebook page I received no reply. It seems they can go through the efforts to attempt to have negative feedback contained but haven’t yet figured out how to reply. Oh yeah, the Alidas Jam that I have bought in the past has sat in my cupboard until the sugar crystallized and I threw it all away. Must not have been that good. But they are good at selling it when they smear it over a cream cheese cracker… I suspect any jam is good this way.

Well… I’m not sure who or what the last one star review was trying to accomplish. These folks have a top notch farm and bust their backs for people like you and me to have delicious locally grown commodities. — peaches are outstanding and rival South Carolina(largest producer of peaches) I lived there 10 years… I would know — apples are crisps and juicy — «Alida’s Apple Pie» is a white chocolate covered dehydrated apple topped with a little cinnamon. It is moist and out of this world… A must try! All in all great local Colorado produce joint and the one star post has obviously blown their misunderstanding out of proportion in to a HATE review. Buy Alida’s goods. I don’t know them but they truly offer some tasty treats.
