The name alone is reason enough to make a stop at this store. Some of the items carried in this store are bizarre indeed. It’s located in Downtown Palisade. Lupita’s Bizarre Bazaar sells all kinds of goods ranging from souvenirs to clothes to greeting cards. It’s a big store, but doesn’t have the stale, unfriendly feel of a big store due to the amiable saleswoman. There were different rooms(wings) in the store. I stayed mostly in the room with the greeting cards. I think I must’ve spent a good 15 minutes or so reading the funny ones. The cards sold here remind me of the good old days of my teen years when I’d go to a Hallmark or some similar greeting cards store and would just read all the funny ones as I chuckle out loud. Ahh, nostalgia. Anyway, I didn’t end up buying anything, but had fun browsing the products that aren’t found in an ordinary store in the malls in Los Angeles.
