Sorry to say that the staff is less than accommodating. Since I don’t do the transparent syrups, I always order a caramel sauce latte. Mind you that I pay the normal price for a caramel latte. The problem is, they give me a drizzle, which doesn’t cut it, not sweet enough. I always wind up having to beg for more caramel sauce after the fact. This is embarrassing! It seems now that the owner wants to charge a premium, since I am getting resistance from the barista. THISISWHAT I GETFORTIPPING, ANDSMILINGWHEN I GREETTHECASHIER. Is anyone else experiencing this? What happened to customer service? I expect a lot more from a franchise!

I don’t understand how this café can run up to date. I know Pal Park holds many businesses run by Koreans and most of customers are Koreans but this place was most discriminatory place i ever been. I do not expect friendly barista nor do i care since i only visited this place to drink a coffee but their attitude is horrible. Coffee is not at its best taste so don’t expect if you want to enjoy a nice local brew coffee(honestly, starbucks can’t be worse than this place). I’ve seen a lot of people complaining about food in general like shredded ice cup doesn’t match the image they post(and its taste) and sandwiches not properly set up. Café looks nice in general so it is a good place to spend a time if you are not worrying too much about food and beverages. Honestly, they should invest more time to properly train their employees how to serve customers better.

I had a latte today and it tasted better than before. I do not know if it is because it now uses different coffee beans as the owner told me. There is nothing special about the place though, it is a type of place you go to when you are around the area, or need to get your work done.

Honestly we go sometimes only because it’s a well known café, but out of the Caffe Bene locations I’ve been to this one isn’t on par. The staff is rude and not willing to help. They’re not welcoming and they stare at you while you’re looking at the menu deciding what to get, silently urging you to hurry the eff up. They’re also very arrogant and make you feel stupid if you ask them a question. Definitely like PB and Tous Le Jour better.

Worst Café Bene in the area. 1. How do run out of bubbles in bubble tea. 2. I come an hour before close and I can’t order a waffle? 3. I finally sit down to eat, and they tell me I can’t sit at that table because they need to clean while I’m already staring to eat. 4. Pretty rude employee telling me all this. Not the best place at night for sure.

Great vibe and very relaxed alternative to a sbux. But…(cmon you knew a but was coming)… I ordered a chai latte medium and jeez it was half full. I had to open and see if someone drank it or something. It was half full of foam and still wasn’t a full cup. I am not saying it should overflow but damnnnnn this is a robbery.

Stopped here after going to a local Korean BBQ spot. The desserts here are just okay. I would not go out of my way to go here and would not plan on returning. The service and personnel are lovely, though, and the deliciousness or not of the food is not their fault. Nice ambiance, but the food was lacking for me/my family. They have these types of cafes all over Korea [ROK] and the desserts are usually phenomenal so I was expecting the same. Oh well… ;)

Quick service. I had my first experience with the shaved milk ice dessert. Was interesting. I will have to try it again. I did learn that I do not like red beans with my green tea ice cream.

Love this place. Second time coming here but first time actually sitting in and hanging out. This café is pretty cool. Lots of different assortments of seats. Bookshelf in the back part of the establishment had me wondering whether the books on it were real or not(I’ll find out next time). There was a patio umbrella inside which I thought was weirdly entertaining for some reason. So many choices from ice crram to coffee to cakes and cookies. I always go for the waffle whenever I go to any Korean dessert spot. Waffle with bananas, strawberries, Nutella and whip cream. Jesus take the wheel! So good! I split it with a friend because we were stuffed from dinner… we enjoyed it so much that we force-fed ourselves to finish the plate.

The Story: Came here with my cousins after our lovely Korean dinner. Food: They have a large selection of desserts and coffee. I love love their honey bread. It’s not too sweet and one honey bread can be shared with two other people. Their coffee is average. Apparently they serve sandwiches and waffle dessert as well. I have to try that. Price: The prices are about average compare to other cafes. Décor: A little tight with the table arrangements. They have a cool bookshelf but overall a good experience. Service: Not much to be said here aside that they were friendly. You order your dessert and coffee and sit down. If your order requires a buzzer(honeybread did!) they will hand you one. Parking & Finding the Place: There is a ton of side street parking but good luck finding a spot on Board Ave lol! I do like the new digital parking meters! Additional Thoughts: I always like a café over a bar. Any day.

Visited this place on a Sunday afternoon. Great atmosphere to get work done. Ordered a cappuccino in a «too stay cup»(must ask for a too stay cup) in order to get served in a mug otherwise they will serve your coffee in a to go cup. Came here with a friend. I sat near the book shelf area. One of the down sides is that they don’t have a lot of plug in area to charge your phone or laptop. Make sure your laptop is fully charged so you don’t have to go through the hassle of looking for a place to plug in your laptop. Incase you didn’t listen to my advice and wing it to the coffee shop with 15% charge or so. They have a plug in area where the couches are towards the middle in the bottom.(Your welcome) This is definitely going to be my study/hipster shop. Loved loved loved it. Stop on by!

Cute cozy place, have been going here for years and I love this spot! I go mostly for their shaved ice :) Tried their taro snow ice for the first time and my friend and I were impressed!

Cute not-so-little café on Broad Ave. Came here after dinner for some dessert and to just chat and relax a bit after the drive down from MA. Had a cappuccino which was average, but not necessarily in a bad way. Split tiramisu and honey bread w/cinnamon and those were really good! Tiramisu was run of the mill Asian bakery tiramisu, I think Paris Baguette does their cakes better. The honey bread takes like 15 min to make so I wish I had known that before ordering. But it’s a fat slice of toast covered in cinnamon and honey and it’s delicious! Big enough for 3 people! It’s a little noisy to really study or read here, imo. If you like background noise when doing work then this is the place for you. A good amount of seating and nice lighting throughout the café.

Decent ambiance but it’s the run of the mill Korean café — bad food and coffee but just good for chilling with no alcohol. The shaved ice is absolutely the worst I’ve tasted in my entire life — wth is this? I had the cookies & cream and it tasted straight up garbage. Their coffee also sucks and they charge more than the regular cafes because they account for«sitting» time. Well, not much sitting for doing anything on the net here because the wifi here is atrocious. Service is nothing to speak of, bathroom wasn’t that clean, and it gets packed at night since a lot of people in Pal Park don’t have cars and just walk to the nearby café for late night chit chats. Would not recommend if you’re in the mood for good coffee and wifi.

Love this place. Very artistic decoration and good service. Tried their green tea shaved ice bowl and it was heavenly. A good spot to relax and enjoy the ambiance while enjoying a delectable treat. A must try café in palisades park

This is a quaint little korean coffee shop. I come here for one thing and that is their pat bing soo, and it is quite delicious! I don’t get to travel to Pallisades Park often being as I live in the Philly area, but every time I come up here I find myself ending my trip here. Facilities here are always clean and it has a great casual hipster vibe going. Service is also always timely and polite. Make sure you stop here for dessert to brighten any rough day.

Café bene has a great ambience and amazing customer service. The workers are very nice and patient. I would recommend the strawberry toast. It was delicious. The toast was sweet and crunchy. The slices of strawberry def added to the flavor. I got the vanilla latte which tasted better than anything I’ve had at Starbucks.

Why is the wifi in this particular Caffe Bene so slow? It’s slow to a point where my laptop could not load the google homepage. For those of your brave souls who still want to give it a try, their wifi password is CaffeBene 0317. It’s a big location, much like the other locations in NJ and NYC. They have smaller tables for two or four and bar stools for the taller tables all along the perimeter of the café. There’s also a bigger communal table in the back. This particular café houses many many many Asian students. So, there might be instances where patrons who come in for a chit-chat will feel out of place if they do not whip out a laptop to squeeze in some last minute studying before the end of the week. And inexplicably, it gets extremely loud. Yes, everyone is studying but yes, it’s also loud. Caffe Bene has sandwiches, which I’ve come to crave once in a while, especially their red pepper paste chicken sandwich on a bialy. They have other chicken and pork sandwiches. They also have waffles that they make per order. You can top it off with chocolate, yogurt, whipped cream, and/or fruits. They also have European delights such as macaroons and danishes, but I highly recommend staying away from these prepackaged pastries. (Their raspberry macaroon is appalling. They filling is a jelly. And their pistachio macaroon had a nutty, chocolate-ey filling. The danish and muffin tasted like expired dollar pastries that they sell at small delis and bodegas in front of zoning high schools.) In the case that you can’t find a seat at Caffe Bene, there are so so so many other cafes along Broad Avenue with ample seating and wifi, such as Tous les Jour, Crome, and Paris Baguette.

It’s cute Korean café, selling korean style drinks, sweets and simple pastries. Modern library decoration with cozy sitting area, always packed with people whenever I visit. I got hooked with their tropical fruit bingsu(shaved ice), has mango purée and chunk of mangos(but no red bean paste). It’s great way to enjoy summer. Staffs are young college students, very friendly.
