CR Chicks

Got the a whole chicken quartered, was burnt. Wasn’t worth the $ 16 you pay for a whole bird. Which is almost 3 times as much as a Publix bird… And you won’t get it it as burnt as how I got mine.
Got a chicken sandwich, was $ 8.25. Was a waste. 1 piece of breast split between 2 sandwich halves. Felt kinda ripped off. Just got bread, mayo, lettuce and tomato for $ 8.

If you are having a crowd, they have the best value! For under $ 6.00 a person you will wow your crowd. The food has always been excellent. I’ve been a fan since they opened many years ago. A must try!

I have been here a few times and they are consistent with their quality and service. The chicken is the best I’ve had and their bread they use is so soft and flavorful. There are several locations and I’ve only been to one other (palm Springs) but it wasn’t as great as this one.

Always great, friendly service. Food ready when ordered ahead. Everything on the menu is excellent. The mac & cheese is sinful and the house salad dressing you’ll never come close to anywhere else. My kids love the drummies with butter penne pasta with cheese. The smokey is the hubs fave and I like to try something different each time. Try dipping the bread in the house dressing. Yum!

A great option for tasty and pretty fast food. My husband and I split the half chicken and a couple sides. Usually more than enough for the two of us. Overall price is more than fair and the staff is always happy. Excellent value for faster (not fast food) option.

I love this place. If you like rotisserie chicken done well, try CR Chicks. I usually get either a quarter chicken or the chicken breast sandwich — will admit i love the sandwich more… and always get the horseradish smashers (the mashed potatoes) as a side! My one recommendation — call in your order. they get REALLY busy at the standard lunch and dinner times and you dont have to stand in line if you are just picking up.

Hubby and I decided to try this place on our way home from the beach! It was a nice casual atmosphere, the staff was pleasant. I had the Chicken Breast Sandwich and my husband had the ½ Chicken with 2 sides. My food was okay, my hubby had to basically douse a bottle of Hot Sauce for some flavor on his chicken. Didn’t really care for the selection of sides that was given…
I really really didn’t like that no one working and serving food had on a hairnet. They should make an effort to cover their hair when working around food like that…
Bottom line, while this wasn’t my worst experience, I probably won’t return…

Stopped in here Tuesday evening on the way home from work as I did not feel like cooking. My co-​worker recommended it and it did not disappoint! Got the whole chicken with 2 sides (mashed potatoes and parsley carrots) meal to go. A great value for so much food. Had a total of 4 delicious meals for under $ 15! Will definitely be back soon.

Love their gazpacho! I crave it on a weekly basis :)
My husband loves their smoked chicken penne pasta and my kids love their kids butter pasta with fresh grated cheese. Oh and don’t forget the delicious pies. Lots of goodies on the menu, I recommend you eat here and give it all a try!

Best cookies EVER! Awesome meatloaf sandwich! Great food all around.

I will never return … All young people working there… Appears no leader… Sanitation scared me as I watched long ponytails and beards around my food… But I walked out and left my food when the cook sneezed into his glove hand, walked out and got a drink filled, then pulled out his cell phone, checked it… Then proceeded back to work with the same gloves on… Never again

CR Chicks is so good that I make it a point to stop in every time I’m in the area. All of their food is delicious and fresh.
Some highlights:
Smoked penne pasta: Also called the «Smokey,» this is CR Chick’s signature dish. If you order it, you’ll see why. The pasta sauce is creamy but not too thick. It’s accompanied by some tender chicken strips and awesomely thick shredded cheese. I used to eat this pasta a few times a week — yes, it is THAT good.
Regular chicken: For a place called CR Chicks, it’s probably not very surprising that the chicken is a highlight. Well, it totally is. It’s good chicken. You can actually see it being roasted right in front of you which is cool. Always juicy. Always good.
Vegetables: The carrots and mashed potatoes can’t be beat here, but the mashed potatoes are ESPECIALLY good. They’re mashed red potatoes which are super yummy. Little bits of potato skin can be found in the mashed potatoes and it’s not gross, it is excellent.
The carrots are slightly buttered and are also a top choice as well.
Basically everything is good here. Great local place to eat.

Been going here for years. Best chicken in town. I highly recommend the smokey pasta or the chicken sandwich. You will not be disappointed.

First time here…
$ 11 for a cooked Rotisserie chicken. It weighed it 1 LB AND 3.6 OZS !!!
Just under 8 ozs of chicken once I took it off the bone…
Tasted like it had been sitting in the warmer for a while… Not again sorry :(
Costco sells the same, but double in size for $ 4.99 And delicious to !!

The perfect place to grab lunch on the go. I really enjoyed the ceaser salad with fresh rotisserie chicken. I couldn’t believe how affordable it was for the high-​quality food. I will definitely be back!

Another spot that you can only appreciate if your from the area. This place is legendary. Anytime I bump into someone in NYC who is from the West Palm Beach area, this place and Publix subs are always mentioned! The smokey (penne pasta in a tomato cream sauce with pulled rotisserie chicken which is cooked over Brazilian wood fire giving it it’s signature «smokey» flavor) is literally what I think of when I’m bummed out and in need of comfort food. I am in my early 30’s now and have been coming here since I was a freshman in high school… That kind of patronage only comes from being awesome and this place is awesome (all of them, there’s a good few dispersed throughout WPB)

This is some of the best rotisserie chicken you’re going to get and it’s all organic and hormone free etc. I usually don’t eat the chicken skin from the chicken but here… it’s sooo yummy. The mashed potatoes are my my favorite. They are bursting with flavor and are so cheap. The chocolate chip cookies are amazing and under a buck!!! Everything is fresh and homemade. You will actually see them make it in the open kitchen if something runs out. They are friendly and open pretty late.
It would get five stars if they had corn bread or if the mac n cheese was a side rather than an entrée.
The chicken pot pie is pretty good. It’s really big. I wish there was more flaky crust under the pie but there was only crust on the top. So, after you eat the top off it’s like eating creamy soup. It’s flavorful and tasted good but was overpriced at almost ten bucks.

Looks new and super staff. Food Looks all house made and the different sides like dirty rice, cucumber salad are refreshingly unusual. The chicken was good a bit salty. The much loved meatloaf sandwich was not for me at all. Good yes, great no. Would be hard with what the area offers to find time for a return.

Nothing but love for CR Chicks!
Admittedly, some of it may have to do with nostalgia– my sisters and I grew up in PBG and have always love this place. Native Southern Floridians share 2 food loves: Publix (the OJ and the subs to be exact) and CR Chicks =D. But let’s get back on track.
Every time I come home now and go to CR Chicks, I am amazed at the consistently high quality – all these years and nothing beats that rotisserie chicken! And the prices have barely changed in a good 10 – 15 years!
(Ex. you can get 2 meals, each of 5 pcs drumsticks, each with 2 sides, and it costs $ 9 out the door =O! whaaaaa??? crazy)
Fave sides:
Cole slaw (ok not gourmet or special but a solid slaw)
Horseradish Smashers (yes it seems the whole world does this NOW, but hey they’ve been doing it forever)
Carrots (sweet sweet carrots)
Pasta primavera (who doesn’t like pasta salad)
Black beans and Rice (my mom’s fave)
I guess I’ve never ordered any of the other «dishes», but if you come here, really it should be for the rotisserie chicken.
My home location is the one on Northlake Blvd.; we usually do take out.
The other location I’ve been to is the one on PGA– we always go here on the way to Juno Beach – nothing beats a CR Chicks pic-​a-​nic beach day! My favorite way to spend a day when I visit home. You should do this. Now. GO!

We searched for something local to try on our way out of town via Unilocal.We found CR Chicks and decided to give it a try. Although it wasn’t horrible I wasn’t impressed either. The restaurant is overly bright and filled with tacky décor. The rotating chickens in the window are promising. I had the smoky chicken pasta which tasted like something I’d whip up at home with whatever was in the pantry. It was bland with some sizable chunks of moist, yet oddly chewy chicken. I also took a bite of the chicken sandwich which was better than the pasta but nothing to blow my socks off. The sour apple pie was tasty but was given to us cold, despite the girl telling us she’d warm it up for us. Prices are inexpensive but even if I was a local I’m not sure I’d be racing back to CR Chicks.
